“The eatery is conveniently close to Highway 1. The inside space is appealing, the cuisine is expertly cooked, and the servers are attentive and amiable. Although the restaurant's interior is small, there are benches outdoors. There were also restrooms. A pleasant setting for a holiday.“

“I go out of my way to get La Mordida' salsa. Generous self serve salsa bar, delicious Chipotle, Verde, pickled jalapeños and carrots, and spicy peppers and mango salsa (I miss the spicy cucumber salad they used to have all the time. The vegetarian options are good, sometimes just all right, but they are very consistent and everything is very fresh. I can make a whole side dish out of their salsa bar while I wait for my order, which makes this my favorite taqueria in town. The one star is missing from my review in atmosphere, only because it's usually quite loud so I only do to-go. I've only sat inside to eat once or twice. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind, even with language barriers. Never gotten my order wrong“

“Great Taqueria! Carne Asada bowl and a super burrito were great. One thing that was different to other Taquerias I've been to, is the self serve tortilla chips! You get an empty bowl, and you fill it up yourself. Quite nice change. Recommend this place if you're in the area“

“Ok, so, I love a good pozole, but I also have some stomach issues that make it so I can’t really process hot spicy food well, so I often can’t find a pozole that works for me and still is deep and rich like I want. Their pozole here is a rare and delicious exception! It’s rich deep broth sings and the hot oil is in the side so I was able to dig in and have an amazing lunch before heading to the beach to chill out for a bit. I’ll be back, often.
I also had their carnitas burrito and it slapped pretty hard too.
That said, the quesadilla was just a bit meh.“

“I’ve lived in Pacifica for over 40 years and have never dined in this restaurant. Family members have told me about it and today a friend/sister said she was going to eat here and I decided to come. Am I happy that I listened and finally came in! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is superb and the staff are super, super sweet! Today I had a taste of Heaven so don’t wait like I did, come and dine now and you won’t be disappointed!“

“We found this place by asking where the best burritos were. Everyone we asked said to come here. You will wait in a long line but it moves fast and absolutely worth the wait! We got ours to go but there is some inside seating. Hands down the freshest most delicious burrito I've ever had. They are huge!“

“Amazing vibes and phenomenal food & drink. We thought we had a reservation made, but when we arrived what we had and what the host had didn’t match—it was so wonderful of them to make room for us during a very busy night. We had a few dishes which were delicious and many drinks. Such a wonderful experience and excited to go back.“

“This may be the best Mexican burrito I've ever had, got the chorizo one! (I'm usually not super happy with Mexican food because I live in NC, but am from NM. Often Mexican food tends to be dry compared to New Mexican which swims in sauce. It actually may be difficult to find authentic Mexican food in NM because fusion restaurants are the norm (a Mexican place that doesn't offer chile).) Visiting SF - where I briefly lived years ago - I knew I had to take advantage of the good Latin American options. We tried going to Breakfast Little but their power was out, unfortunately. Al Carojo across the street just started experiencing power problems, too. This was our third choice, but it might have been my first, if I had first found the listing. It was the authentic experience I was hoping for. My partner had the breakfast plate with chorizo and his was fantastic also. Too bad we live so far away.“

“The grilled cheese burrito was absolutely delicious! What a genius idea. Every bite is greeted with tasty guacamole, continued with flavorful carne asada, and then you’re left with melty cheese to chew on afterwards. And the addition of a churro was really the cherry on top. If you’re visiting the mission and want the best burrito possible, get this one!“

“Absolutely fantastic.
Great quality, flavor, and good presentation on food. Highly recommend their salsa verde on just about anything. Superb. My favorite: Chilaquiles with ham, verde sauce. You won’t regret it.
Friendly, family feel staff, quick food, clean environment, atmosphere not too loud though when full it can get moderate.“

“Been going there since the 70’s We loved their fresh made tortillas and masa for tamales. I did notice today the tortillas weren’t the same. I pray the masa hasn’t changed when we make our Xmas tamales. For the past 27 years I drive from Antioch to San Francisco for our masa.🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️“

“Walked in one day and wanted to try some nachos. Had a great time. It was good fresh food. The service was amazing and the views from the windows are pretty. The restaurant is also decorated very beautifully. Will come back again to try the other things I was suggested. But unfortunately just the day was not just for me, which was decent.
Don't mind the to go box in my photos. I didn't want to dirty dishes when I was hoping to take most of the Nachos to go :)“

“I was surprised how good the food here is! Not too greasy, and very reasonably priced, they're also open late and jave both indoor and outdoor seating. Service is also very good, I would definitely recommend if you're looking for lunch or a quick late night bite in Half Moon Bay.“

“I always get the baja style fried fish tacos Nick's way. Had some friends try them last night, and everybody thought they were incredible. I personally also add their habanero salsa which you'll have to request for if you like that much heat. Their house margaritas are the perfect accompaniment. The staff is all great. It's generally busy every time I'm there but luckily I've never had to wait very long for a table (that might just be luck).“

“I can’t say enough good things about Mexico Típico and the staff who work there. Every time I go the staff are very friendly and the food is always delicious. My last visit just solidified all the positive experiences I’ve had eating their food. Their carne asada burritos, fajitas, red sauce enchiladas, carnitas and refried beans are all made to order and come out nice and hot. My mouth is salivating just thinking about all that food!! I’ve had their super shrimp burritos before and they are fire. Love all the peppers and fillings they put In that burrito. This is my go to spot in the neighborhood for that comfort food vibe. Oh and their breakfast burritos with chorizo and refried beans too! So good!“

“My son and I YELPED for Mexican food.Good Mexican Food, and decided to give this place a try. I had the Spicy Shrimp Plate, and my son had the Steak and Spicy Prawns. They also provide Tortilla Chips and a Salsa Bar. The guy who cooked our food, knows how to cook! My shrimp was absolutely a balance of green/red peppers, onions, in a slightly sweet, savory and mildly spicy sauce. The Rice was done just right(not dried out). The Black Beans, were tender, with just the right amount of salt. The Iceberg lettuce and sliced radish was cold, fresh and crispy— Served with a dollop of sour cream, avocado sauce; a slice of tomato and sprinkle of Mexican cheese top the salad - it did a nice job to balance the heat of the main course. Everything was well executed. The overall indoor atmosphere is very clean, simple and no frills. Love their neon menu signage. And, their prices are reasonable. Thank you for the delicious meal. We will be back.“

“Incredible breakfast burrito - tortilla was soft and chewy, nice crunch from the tater tots, and creamy/fattiness from the perfectly cooked eggs, cheese, chorizo, and avocado. The red sauce added just enough heat and acidity to balance everything out. I wasn't hungover, but I can't imagine a better hungover breakfast.“

“VERY GOOD. I almost gave it a 5. The pasta is overcooked so I would ask for al dente next time. The linguine carbonara was the star - definitely getting it again.
The penne with sausage was good but id try something else next time
Drinks were just ok, maybe they were having an off day.“

“Wow.. I do have an addiction to Mexican food or maybe its just GOOD EATs! What a hidden no frills gem. Simple easy filling latin comfort food. I noticed a lot of foot traffic during a mid afternoon late lunch.. if the locals are grabbing food its a good indication it might be worth a bite.“

“I got their B. Option Breakfast burrito. So delicious! Perfect for a hangover. Bacon was crispy, eggs were cooked just right, perfect amount of cheese and soft fluffy potatoes. I tried all of their salsas that were fresh and had a decent spice to them. Chips are also fresh and crisp served complimentary with your meal. The service was excellent friendly staff that actually care about the quality and pleasing their customers. Great place to grab a bite to go or before heading to the beach. Excited to try their other dishes!“

“I’ve spent years eating my way through taquerias across the Bay Area from San Jose, to the Mission, and everything in between, and La Paloma still holds its own with the best of them and will always have a special place in my heart. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming every time, but the food is what keeps me loyal. The carne asada is consistently excellent; well seasoned, smoky, and cooked perfectly every visit. Their coctel de camarón is fresh, nicely chilled, with that bright tang and subtle spice that hits the spot. It’s the kind of authentic, no-frills taqueria you can always count on. Highly recommend.“

“In a never ending search for the best burritos in the Bay, I’m glad I found another solid option in Los Cuates. Super nice folks behind the counter, clean, organized restaurant, a solid salsa bar, and fantastic food.
The regular carne burrito was piping hot, and perfectly wrapped with a perfect balance of delicious meat, rice, beans, and salsa. Nothing groundbreaking, just solid Mexican food at reasonable prices served by nice folks. We need more places like Los Cuates.“

“I have been to San Francisco a few times over the years for business and whatnot but had never tried Mexican food in the city. Being from Texas my expectations were pretty low because in my mind Texas does it the best. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and subtle differences between what I was used to and Frisco Flavor. Everything I had tasted fresh and some of the tacos even reminded me of my mom’s kitchen. There was a party going on in the back patio area with loudish music and the partiers asked if we wanted them to turn it down. We did not. If you haven’t tried this place you should give it a chance.“

“This may be our new favorite spot. Easier for us to get to. We've tried the Super Prawn Burrito and carne asada super nachos. I recommend both. The chips have the perfect crunch/crisp. Salsas are all great too. I was too hungry so no photos this time. Will definitely be back.“

“Nestled between a bodega and a frutería on the always vibrant Mission Street, you'll find the unassuming Casa de la Condesa. The air is thick with the dramatic tones of a Mexican soap opera blaring from the TV, and I'm the only gringo in sight—a sure sign I've made the right choice for my inaugural taco birria experience.
Yes, I admit it: this is my first time eating taco birria. But if you're going to lose your birria virginity, this is the place to do it. The consommé hits first, a robust, beefy broth spiked with raw onion and cilantro, a punch of flavor that wakes up your senses.
The taco itself is a marvel of simplicity and indulgence. Soft, shredded beef piled generously inside a tortilla that's been lightly fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, yet soft and inviting within. The raw onions add a sharp counterpoint to the savory, salty meat. And the salsa roja is probably the best I’ve had. I’ll be sure to add vinegar to my personal recipe.“

“Delicious tortas at reasonable prices! I especially love the salsa roja. I'm not sure what the other review was complaining about seating because there's three tables, bar seating, and public seating around the block.
Wheelchair accessibility: The door was propped open and the tables are at wheelchair height. No steps nor big ramps.“

“HOLY COW!! This taco truck is fantastic. Ate here 5 times and everytime hit harder than the last. The ladies running it are super nice and helpful. The tacos are so tasty (may need a little more meat) and made to perfection. The gordita is a force to be reckoned with, bursting with flavor and so worth its weight in gold. All around great food truck... can of diet coke $4 was the only meh moment for me.“

“I've tried all the vegetarian burritos in town, and La Perla has the best. All ingredients of a super burrito (minus meat) and comes with extra veggies inside - peppers, onions, and spinach fajita style - rather than just a regular burrito, but with less, like most places do. It stands out among the Mexican restaurants in town for vegetarian options. Very good homemade salsas“
