“I’ve been coming to this taco truck for a while now and I can say great service and good Tacos. I’ve recently tried there Asada fries and I can say it’s probably one of my favorites now. I highly recommend this place if your looking for some good tacos or tortas“

“This food truck is worth a stop if you're wanting delicious tacos, tortas, and burritos. I have not been disappointed. They offer a variety of drinks including a strawberry horchata. I appreciate the fast and friendly service and delicious Mexican food. Atmosphere rating technically doesn't apply.
They generally park in a shaded area, so you can wait for your food in the shade.“

“Living just two blocks away, I made it a weekly ritual to dine here, and it remains my absolute favorite spot for street tacos. While I miss the salsa bar, a casualty of the pandemic, it was heartening to find the tacos tasting just as delicious as they did six years ago during my recent work trip. It's reassuring to see that this gem is still thriving.“

“Place was not that busy on a Memorial Day Monday, so I was able to order my food right away and the food was not that expensive. Worker who took my order was very nice. Food came out quick. Got a Carne Asada taco that was delicious. Didn’t even take a picture because it jumped in my belly. Burrito was decent, good flavor but I wish they put more meat in it. It was packed, but I found myself trying to conserve the meat to make it last for other bites. Salsa bar was cool with the huge selection to choose from. Other than that, I would come back and definitely order more tacos.“

“First time I ate here was at this city wide event near the eco center downtown So San Francisco and the line to get food was around the corner literally. The food was fresh, hot and good portions for their prices is like paying a little for a lot more than what money is supposed to get you especially in ssf Bay Area okay. Lol.“

“I work in downtown South San Francisco. I have tried every Mexican restaurant in this area. Los Cuates is the best Mexican restaurant in this area. Their sauces are fantastic. My favorite dish is the enchiladas which comes smothered and cheese with lots of salsa, meat, beans, and rice.“

“Is a good Hidden Gem of South City. There are lots of taquerias, and some of them have their own niche, Los metates is no different. This place makes their own sauces, Albeit the variety of salsas is not so vast as what you would say a Pancho Villa would have, but the food quality of the meats and how they prepare everything is second-to-none! It's a very good high quality taqueria!!!“

“La Morena is one of the originals in South San Francisco and one the best taquerias around in the Bay Area. Everything on the menu is good the service is fast and friendly. I have been going to this restaurant for decades and will continue to do so. It's a South city staple and just great food every time you go. 5 stars!“

“This is the best burrito in the peninsula, hands down. This is what a burrito should taste like! I've been coming here for decades, and the consistency stays the same. It's always a great price at $9 super burritos! The service is always friendly and even if it's crowded you still don't wait long for your food! Also, the original El Farolito in SF invented the burrito.“

“Fresh ingredients, delicious food; we enjoyed everything we tried. I'm just sorry I didn't try the habanero sauce; it would have been a little mild for me if I hadn't added jalapeños. For our tastes, knocks Chipotle out of the park!“

“I don’t normally give 5 star ratings but feel this place deserves it. It’s a hidden gem in downtown South San Francisco that serves authentic, unpretentious Salvadoran (and Mexican) food. The pupusas (we had the ones with pork, cheese and beans) were absolutely delicious and inexpensive. They go well with the house coleslaw and the mild chili sauce. The Salvadoran enchiladas (more like tacos) were very good as well. The best part of this restaurant is the staff, who are warm, generous, and kind. They really make you feel this is neighborhood place. We will definitely return to sample more items on the menu.
Parking: Paid street parking in front of the restaurant“

“This place is great! i was a little skeptical when i walked in, but watching the girl in the back making the tortillas was top notch. The tacos were huge! and the portions were just right. Now, the salsa was what brought the meal together, it was spicy that if you didn’t have chest on your hair? let me tell you…you might after trying it. truly a homemade meal. highly recommend.“

“The pink pancakes, huevos rancheros and chiliques were outstanding. Loved the food. The place is in an odd location: industrial fruit packing district in a weird parking lot. We didn’t think we were at the right place because of all the fork lifts. Server was lovely. It’s not the best atmosphere for breakfast but the food was good.“
