El Santaneco Reviews
The food was excellent. Pupusas were very delicious.
There are not enough words to express how amazing this restaurant and its staff is! The food is amazing and the staff are so kind. My favorite thing from there are the bean and cheese pupusas, and the pork ones! If there was a way to give them ten stars I would!
Dude, the food was so good! I got two pupusas—one revuelta and one shrimp and cheese—and I have to say this is one of the best spots I've tried so far. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but those are usually the places with the best food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I'll definitely be coming back!

Based on the reviews, El Santaneco offers the best pupusas in South City. The food is amazing, scrumptious, and delicious. Specific meals mentioned include the custom cheese, bean, loroco, and jalapeño pupusa, the zucchini pupusas, the pupusas loroco y revuelta, and platanos. The salad is also very good. The atmosphere is festive and colorful, with music and a futbol match on tv. The hospitality and customer service is top tier, very friendly, and patient. The restaurant is very affordable and filling. Dine-in gets cold during winter. Customers highly recommend this place and are coming back.
