“HOLY COW!! This taco truck is fantastic. Ate here 5 times and everytime hit harder than the last. The ladies running it are super nice and helpful. The tacos are so tasty (may need a little more meat) and made to perfection. The gordita is a force to be reckoned with, bursting with flavor and so worth its weight in gold. All around great food truck... can of diet coke $4 was the only meh moment for me.“

Jack in the box will forever be a classic quick food stop, you may need to park in the lot with a local traffic view and a hillside with very cool fog while you wait for your food to drive off with. “What a great discovery Cocina Mama Cholita was! Just a small unassuming place on Mission St that we happened to walk into. The young proprietor had us sample all three enchilada sauces since we were unsure about which ones to pick. All three were delicious, but the the mole sauce was one of the best I had ever tasted. I ordered the Tijuana style tacos🌮, handmade tortilla, grilled cheese, one shrimp🍤(Clean jumbo prawns👍🏽🍤❤️) and one steak, onions, cilantro and guacamole on the side. They were so nice💜! They even added in some chips when I asked do they come with chips. The chips were fresh and warm still. When I got home my food was still warm but I did have it in a warmer bag from doordash LOL. This restaurant was very clean and they also have the condiments of different type of sauces in clean squeezable bottles, self service packaging. Everything was delicious and seasoned to perfection. “This is the food truck spot for tacos in San Francisco’s Mission District. The tacos are loaded and the sauces are nice and spicy. I love all the veggie’s they add on the side as well. Easy to pick up to-go or chill at the tables they have outside. I got 4 tacos for $17. Well worth the price and always happy to support small local businesses like this. This was a great way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.“

“Our server Gwen helped us find the best Burritos that I have had in a very long time!

We tried the Jackfruit Vegetarian option - ask them to add Tater Tots instead of Rice and ooh. That made all the difference.

We had Guac and Chips which were good as well. Will definitely be going back to get more recommendations and try more food.

“Los Metates has a decent taco salad $16. It tasted fine but it felt small. It is missing key ingredients like pico del gallo. Pico del gallo (tomatoes and onions) would have made this salad 2x better as it blends well with iceberg lettuce and gives is more flavor. It comes with free chips and two condiment cups of salsa. Both sauce cups were spicy. Service was quick as I was the customer at 6:30pm. One weird thing, the menu on the wall with the photos, some items don't have prices on them. For example, Quesabirria tacos are $8 each. I don't like restaurants where they don't put prices on their menu.“

I think the reason most people like it and this has good reviews is just because they’re so starving waiting at DMV I am a very honest reviewer. Here are my reasons why…

“One of the best al pastor and chorizo tacos I’ve ever had in my years of traveling to San Francisco. The trio appetizer with guacamole, salsa, and frijoles con queso fresco was excellent, and the horchata was delicious. The restaurant was very clean with lots of natural light and welcoming hospitality. The prices were reasonable as well for lunch.“

“We've been coming here every Sunday for about 2 years. Their quality is extremely consistent. Excellent Al Pastor and chorizo. They are quick and have very reasonable pricing. The friendliest staff. We will keep coming as long as we live here!
Street parking out front is competitive, but there is ample parking in the back around the block.“

“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. “Delicious tacos with tender meat. Their stand is not guaranteed to be here every day but when they’re here they usually set up around 5-6pm and stay until midnight. They split their time between here and another location in San Mateo. I’ve also seen them set up on International Blvd
