To some extent this is another casual taqueria. They have several locations in the area. But the standout here is the somewhat unusual recipes for the ingredients in the tacos, etc. Somewhat inventive. Very casual atmosphere, quick service.
I've been to all other location in Oakland and bay area and honestly this place does not disappoint! I ordered fish tacos and pollo asado and carne asada tacos! Everything was very good but fish tacos were my favorite! Fish was flakey and crispy from outside. My only complaint is that they charge $2 for aji amarillo sauce which is lot for a small side of sauce. Caribbean cuisine right at the Ferry Building. You order at the counter and pick up the food. I tried the Cuban sandwich and the beef plate with rice and beans. It's typical Caribbean with some spice and sweetness not spicy hot. Try the strawberry juice.
