We ordered the famous oyster. clam chowder & cod fish. After we were seated, we had to wait for 20 minutes before the server would attend to us. Clam chowder was cold when served. I assume that’s how it should be? We like our food served hot, even fast food burger we ordered via delivery was not as cold as the clam chowder.
We wandered into the Ferry Building looking for a heated outdoor space to dine and lucked into Hog Island Oyster Co.! The mussels with summer squash and leeks came in bearnaise-like cream sauce that matched perfectly with the braided sourdough. The clam chowder was filled to the brim with in-shell steamed clams and a luscious, light chowder. While pricey, the fish and chips were London-worthy. We’ll be back ASAP!

Alolo..Lolos! Well, here you can start a great tour of all the docks!! This is located on the side of the expressway. It is somewhat difficult to find free parking, but there are private ones at a cost.$$I liked that it is like a food court and inside there is this Oyster bar. In fact we started with an Oyster cocktail that has mix, Cajun sauce and an Oyster cherry!! Once we had put on our gloves, we entered into a clam chowder... but the time passed quickly. Recommended.
