Taqueria El Chacho is a tiny pop-up in Alameda Landing with huge flavors. The tacos are seriously good, with the al pastor having that perfect crispy edge and the suadero being super tender. The cabeza is an absolute favorite, and the lengua and cabeza burrito was AMAZING, big enough that it couldn't be finished. The portions are super generous. The al pastor quesadilla tasted so good, though a bit salty, so customers should ask for pineapple as it is not added by default. The al pastor mulitas were muy deliciouso with melted queso. There are four different salsas to choose from, ranging from non-spicy to super spicy, with all the fixings like cilantro, lime, onions, and radish. The stand is not guaranteed to be here every day, but they usually set up around 5-6pm and stay until midnight. They split their time between here and another location in San Mateo. They take both cash and card, but charge a fee for card. The two people working the stall are friendly and happy to accommodate.
