These are legit the best tacos in SF and have such incredible service. For example, I can recount an experience stuck waiting for a friend where they gave complimentary chips while waiting! Great plant-based options too. :)
What a great discovery Cocina Mama Cholita was! Just a small unassuming place on Mission St that we happened to walk into. The young proprietor had us sample all three enchilada sauces since we were unsure about which ones to pick. All three were delicious, but the the mole sauce was one of the best I had ever tasted. His grandma’s recipe, he said. Overall, a great experience! Serendipitous!!
The guacamole is so good and fresh. The service is top notch, parking was easy. This is a must if you like Mexican food. They must be amazing because their doordash never stopped. We are visiting from Chicago and we have a lot of top places but this one was amazing.
