Tilak Reviews
Absolutely amazing foods and drinks! Be sure to try the chaat, sag paneer, garam masala...really anything and everything! So delighted to welcome Tilak to the neighborhood. It's worth a drive from across SF too!!

Tilak is a wonderful restaurant known for its delicious offerings, especially its pani puri, curries, and bhature. The colorful interior adds to the lively atmosphere, making it a popular spot for locals. The servings are generous, with mountains of rice, and the puri chaat is a must-try. The butter chicken is rich and flavorful, considered one of the best in SF. The biryani, topped with sweet caramelized onions, is also a favorite. The fast service, reasonable prices, and homey feel make it a great place for a date or gathering with friends. The bature are well-leavened, oval-shaped breads that pair perfectly with channa or other curries. Overall, Tilak offers comfort food on cool nights and is a place that continues to be a favorite among Indian food lovers. Don't miss out on their dahi puri chaat, which combines sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors in every bite!
