“I always drive by this place and have never stopped. Figured we needed good bbq for Juneteenth. It did not disappoint. Excellent service and delicious food, even my teens chowed down. Easy to park by the community center. Try it. The meat is smoked to perfection. The baked beans have ground turkey. Enjoy!“

“When I first walked into this establishment, I didn’t know my taste buds would get a glimpse of heaven. My food was perfectly cooked and seasoned— from the wrap, to the falafel and hummus. Not only is everything delicious, but it was all so fresh I genuinely tasted the freshness. Additionally, staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the establishment itself is so nice. Thank you for such an authentic and delicious meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon!“

“I honestly don’t understand why the rating is so low—it’s absolutely delicious and tastes just like back home in China. I ordered lamb skewers, grilled squid, cold noodles, and grilled cold noodles. Ever since I tried it once, I’ve been craving it every day.“

“My family comes here or does take out once every month or so. Favorites are the char siu and duck which just hits the spot. Service is truly exceptional from being greeted at the door to attentive table service throughout. They are so welcoming to my child and that level of attention and care (consistently) is just so rare these days. Just a wonderful place all around.“

“Comfort food. Was craving some Hawaiian food so dragged the fellas to south SF to try this spot which was takeout only. My first time I got the Loco Moco (hamburger steak with eggs and gravy on rice and macaroni salad. GAS) and the next night had to come back and try the chicken katsu (also over rice and macaroni salad. ALSO GAS). Also each plate ran us less than $15 for huge portions. I need this spot in Massachusetts.“

“The food was very delicious! I loved everything I ordered! Ribs, beef brisket, chicken, potato salad, Mac-N-Cheese, and sausage! I highly recommend eating here.“
“great korean bbq plates. I usually get the beef bulgogi or the spicy pork.“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.
Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

“Best roast duck & rice plate in SF for $11. I've patronize Top's Cafe since forever! Before covid this was full service restaurant. Still serving the community as a deli like service. Come and enjoy the flavors! You won't be disappointed.“

“Ohana is always a good place to eat. Good food, good value for the buck 👌, staff are friendly. We love their Loco Moco, Spam Musubi, Shrimp butterfly, Seafood combo, Salmon with steam veggies etc...
One time I lefty back pack there by accident. I called their store. The female staff remembers me and she said you can come and pick up your bag anytime.“
“Frozen brisket like a Korean BBQ place, you fill the bowl up as much as you want and add any veggies you want. They take the bowl and let you choose which sauces/fresh garlic/ seasoning you want on it and throw it on a flat top grill with a bowl full if noodles. It's great for the price. I would pay $50 for this at a Korean BBQ place“

“Street parking can be hard but we were lucky to find one not too far away.
It was busy on a Saturday evening with what seems like a lot of regulars. We were a party of 5 and they sat us at a table for 4 and added a chair on the end. Once we ordered, they moved us to a big table. We ordered way too much for 5 people. Ending up taking a lot home.
Everything was very good. Except the veggie was a little too tough/mature. And the mixed mushroom with egg tofu was not mixed mushroom but only one type of mushroom. The egg tofu was very good with the broccoli.
The bbq pork with chicken appetizer was good too. The bbq pork was so juicy and flavorful.
Portions here are very big and prices are reasonable.“

“Really solidly good Hawaiian food. I had family visiting from France who wanted to try Hawaiian food and they loved it! Especially high praise coming from Parisians used to amazing restaurants. It's a small place and nothing fancy but the food is really, really good. If you haven't been, you should definitely try it!“

“I’ve walked Noriega street multiple times and never realized there was a good Korean restaurant here! It is easy to miss unless you’re looking for The Crew, which is why I’m glad a friend recommended this place to me.
What I liked about eating here is that the food is served HOT. We had the soft tofu soup, seafood pancake, stone pot bibimbap, and 1/2 serving of galbi. The portions are generous and it fulfilled our craving for Korean food. The banchan (small plates) is average at best, but that did not deter from the experience. The food we did order was exceptional.“

“Korean place with good vegan options. Items are labelled vegetarian on the menu, some items need to be modified to be made vegan. Clarify that the banchans are vegan (they have fish cake sometimes). Like greens, bean sprouts, and fried tofu banchan they have. Bathroom was nice and clean.
Love the mushroom tofu soup, really flavorful and they are generous with the mushrooms. Also got the hot stone tofu bibimbap, make sure to ask for no egg to make it vegan. Good option to go to if going with a group of omnis, can also accomodate larger groups as well but would consider making a reservation if the party is 6+.“

“I usually get the kalbi and chicken katsu half and half, and it is consistently solid every time. The portions are filling, the kalbi is flavorful, and the katsu is crispy and reliable. It is one of those comfort meals where I know exactly what to expect.
Parking can be somewhat difficult since the lot is shared with In-N-Out, which gets busy quickly, especially during peak hours. I almost always order ahead, so the wait time is reasonable and pickup is smooth.
The ambiance is just okay. It is casual and functional, nothing special. The cashiers are fine, not overly friendly but not rude, and service is straightforward.
I keep coming back because it is consistent, filling, and a good value for the price. It is not a destination spot, but it is a dependable go-to when I am craving kalbi, katsu, or classic Hawaiian comfort food.“

“Our regular L&L. When we are too lazy to cook, we would ordered the following: mini Bbq chicken or a mini chicken Katsu or mini garlic Basa( yummy) or Spam musubi. These are our favorite. You can’t go wrong with these items. I also order party trays for potluck Christmas luncheon.“
“Boneyard catered our wedding and all of the guests were pleased. The chicken, pulled pork, and brisket were true to form -- what you'd expect from a *good* BBQ joint in Texas. The staff (Rich and his family) were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. Sides were delectable, the iced tea was perfect, and all leftovers were boxed up at the end. Needless to say, we enjoyed the leftovers. Highly recommended.“

“Yes, expect a line out the door on holidays and weekends. And yes, it's 100% worth it.
This place is the definition of a no-nonsense, no-frills, all-flavor Cantonese BBQ shop. Walk-up counter, trays of glistening roast duck, crispy pork belly, char siu hanging in the window, and staff that moves with serious precision. Quick, efficient, they keep that line moving.
Pro tip: There's a huge parking lot, but on holidays or peak weekends you'll still be circling a couple times. Hang in there.
Because when you finally get that box? The most flavorful, tender, crispy-skinned, melt-in-your-mouth roast pork and roast duck you'll find on the Peninsula.
The kind of bite that makes you close your eyes for a second.
Highly recommend it.“

“I like this place. Basic, no frills, Hawaiian BBQ. My favorite is the Shrimp Noodle soup. Large bowl of veggies' shrimp and super hot broth. Noodles on the side in the to go orders. Such nice noodles. Cooked perfectly so they finish cooking when you add them to the hot broth. Highly recommended. All of the other Hawaiian BBQ dishes also on the menu. Not much on atmosphere though.“

“My first time stopping by 02/27/25 to order take out and the beautiful lady who took my order was very friendly & polite. She gave me accurate timing of wait which was 15-20mins. The chicken chowmein and salt& pepper fried chicken wings did not disappoint my son’s tastebuds lol. Glad I checked this place out, I will be back 😊“

“We’ve been heading over to The Night Market for the past few years! The classics are all good, Hainan Chicken, Beef Chow Fun, minced Beef over rice. But if you want to try something unique to The Night Market try the Longan Crispy Pork over rice. I can’t imagine a dish that so uniquely represents the Asian American experience. Finish it off with a mango Sago!“

“The charcoal grills are a new experience for me. It was awesome! Food was delicious! Service was great! My only complaint would be for the ventilation to be better/stronger. I know to expect to smell like KBBQ after, but I think ventilation can be improved.“

“We were a party of six, and all six of us found the food to be excellent. We ordered a 6-dish special meal that included a steamed fish fillet. I don't think it was a fresh fish, but it was large and plenty good. We were able to pick garlic noodles, which is one of my favorites, as one of our 6 dishes.“

“I have been here many times, mainly I stop by when I am in the area where I am in need of a quick bite. This spot stands out, because there are little to none Hawaiian eaterys within the area. This place is very convenient when I am here, they are located in a plaza with many parking spots that are available. This place is just like any other L&L, but they do have some items that other location might not have. Their menu consists of Hawaiian plates mini or regular size, seafood items, saimin (Noodle soups), appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, desserts and much more to choose from. Everything here is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. At certain hours it can be very busy, but they cook and prep very fast where your food comes out quick. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained, professional and understanding where I had never encountered an issue during any of my visits and I simply leave satisfied. You can order for dine in, order for takeout, place an order over the phone or have it delivered to you through a food delivery app. I highly recommend this place to all Hawaiian food enthusiasts. If you are in need of a quick bite just like me, to anyone willing to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.“

“The roast duck chicken and pork are to die for!!! No wonder they always have lines stretching Noriega St to Sunset Blvd!!!
I had a half chicken and half duck and I was more than satisfied! The quality 👌 the atmosphere chaotic but in a good way! You can even pick out your own bird or pig!
The one downside is cash credit. Like most gas stations you pay more for credit and there's no advance sales...OTHERWISE BON APPETIT!

“It's very hard finding crunchy chicken skin that is cooked perfectly to bring home and enjoy with rice and papaya salad!
Grill City will load a bag for you, which is only about 1LB for under $15! That's a great deal for cooked chicken skin.
There are many other great food options, but this is my go-to for chicken skin!!“
