“Saturdat morning my dad and I had breakfast here and the croissant sandwich were great! The quality of the food and the owner made such a nice impression that we went back for lunch the next day (Sunday). We both had one of their roast beef sandwiches and were very happy with them. Great quality ingredients and large portions. I haven't been in during the lunch rush but our breakfast and lunch sandwiches were done in less than 10 minutes! I wish I knew about it sooner and I'll definitely be back! I love supporting our local businesses!

They have indoor seating and a couple of tables out front. There is parking right in front and a few spots on the north side of the building.

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... “I would like to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant last night regarding the reservation process and customer service.
Before arriving, we called the restaurant to make a reservation. The staff member who answered told us to make a reservation through Yelp. I explained that Yelp was not allowing us to book, which was the reason we called directly. She then told us that she would put us in the system and that our table would be ready in about 20 minutes, which worked perfectly for our drive to the restaurant.
However, when we arrived and informed the hostess that we had a reservation, she immediately told us that the restaurant does not take reservations and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. I even showed her the sms confirmation from my phone.This was very confusing and frustrating because we had just spoken with someone who confirmed our reservation over the phone.
As a result, we arrived expecting a table to be ready, only to find out that no reservation existed. We were dining with a child, so the unexpected wait made the situation even more difficult.
I understand that restaurants can be busy, but clear and consistent communication is very important. If reservations are not accepted, this should have been communicated honestly during the phone call. The conflicting information made us feel misled and disappointed with the service experience.
I hope management can review this situation with the staff to prevent similar misunderstandings for future guests.“

“In truth, I recommend Jessica --the front desk-- who makes sure that I receive extra marinara as well as extra sauce Anglaise... for takeout. Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“

“Charming restaurant inside a former bank.
I tried 3 course fixed price lunch for $24.

Starter is choice between house salad or soup of the day, an entree and dessert. There were 5-6 choices for entree including a vegetarian and seafood option. Dessert was choice of gelato or chocolate mousse

Everything was tasty and we got fresh bread while our food was being prepared. Normally I would say $24 is expensive for lunch but given the inflation as of late I thought this was reasonable given ambiance and quality of food. I probably should have saved 1/2 my entree so I could have enjoyed the mousse more. It was delicious but could only get a few bites in as I was so full by the time dessert came out.

You can order off the menu if 3course meal is not your preference. Pizza is only offered at dinner fyi.“

“So glad I stumbled across this gem today! William (cashier) was extremely patient, accommodating, and helpful. We ordered a porchetta sandwich, side of fries, double espresso, burger, and scone. Everything we had was delicious - the porchetta was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. There isn’t a dedicated kids menu from what I saw, but they provided a high chair and most kids survive off fries, so we were fine. Parking is in a private lot and an easy walk from LPCH or Stanford shopping center. The weather was perfect for their patio dining, and staff were prompt to bring our food and clear tables.“

My nephew called the night before informing me that he was flying from East Coast and possibly could visit with me. He was able to join us for the birthday dinner. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. “I ate at Pazzo on Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant is take out only. I ordered at the restaurant instead of on the phone. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The order took about 20 minutes and we had a drink outside while waiting. I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp and grits. Over anything else on the menu! And I was told the gnocchi was amazing too iAnd of course the pizza is awesome!“

“I met the owner of this place while doing rideshare. At the end of the trip he said, “Since you got me home safely, come by my sandwich shop and I’ll have my people hook you up.”
His staff was just as friendly as he was, and the sandwich tasted even better than I expected.
My recommendation: turkey and salami with lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a toasted French roll with garlic sauce only.
The taste isn’t something to die for, it’s something to live and stay alive for.
