“Pompeii is a wonderful family-owned gem in Los Altos. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the food absolutely delicious. The chicken parmesan, lasagna, and linguine are some of our favs, paired with their fresh homemade bread. You can really taste the care that goes into everything!“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

“Celebrating my husband's 65th Birthday. Took a excursion today to cool off out of the valley heat and searched out an authentic Italian meal. I ordered the Linguini and fresh Clams with roasted peppers and light cream sauce. The results were delicious with excellent flavor and presentation. Hubby needed his Cavatelli with red gravy as a side dish since he hasn't found anything like this in our area. He also ordered Lasagna as the main course and we were surprised to see a very large portion! The bread, and I am not a bread eater, was heavenly. Hubby claims good Italian bread is like eating cake and I couldn't agree more with him more. I am now a convert! The pasta is homemade, the red gravy is delicious. We will be returning. “In truth, I recommend Jessica --the front desk-- who makes sure that I receive extra marinara as well as extra sauce Anglaise... for takeout. Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“

“5 STARS! No BS corporate Olive Garden here! Calzone's my fave. Few Italian spots make'm nowadays. Bread's pillow soft. Mushrooms & tomatoes retain a lotta H2O. I've had some watery ones from other restaurants that spilled out when cut open in the past. Theirs is legit. Customize your own, but the 1 on the menu's fabulous as is. They make their own herb focaccia! Ordering mouthwatering meatballs a la carte is a must! Pastas, paninis, open face, salads, rotisserie chx, ribs, draft beer, wine, delivery, takeout, etc. Perfect place to take your loved ones/friends who'd appreciate the art & hard work the staff serves up so quickly!“

“What a gem! Service and food were top-notch. The bay scallop amuse bouche was stunning, as well as the swordfish and scallop main course. Restaurant is a little small, with the tables very close to each other, but we were able to hear each other easily in conversation.“

“The food at Che Fico Parco was innovative and delicious. Our waiter was knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. Heads-up: don't believe the prices on the menu; they automatically tack on 5% to your bill so that they can pay their employees. Which, of course, is complete B.S. Really -- just charge more for your dishes (it is not like this is a price-sensitive crowd on the border of Atherton and Menlo Park) and pay them what you need to.“

“So glad I stumbled across this gem today! William (cashier) was extremely patient, accommodating, and helpful. We ordered a porchetta sandwich, side of fries, double espresso, burger, and scone. Everything we had was delicious - the porchetta was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. There isn’t a dedicated kids menu from what I saw, but they provided a high chair and most kids survive off fries, so we were fine. Parking is in a private lot and an easy walk from LPCH or Stanford shopping center. The weather was perfect for their patio dining, and staff were prompt to bring our food and clear tables.“

“I've eaten here many times, both onsite and takeout. For this recent visit, we got takeout. I had Linguine Leonardo, one of my favorites. My husband had Chicken Marsala and my dad had Linguine Portofino. The Leonardo has chicken, spinach, and sundried tomatoes sautéed in olive oil and garlic. It's a nice variety of flavors and the tomatoes are a great burst of flavor. The pasta is homemade and delicious. My husband enjoyed his Marsala. It had a lot of sauce, with mushrooms and onions. The chicken was pounded thin. My dad enjoyed the Portofino and ate every bite. All of our dishes came with a side salad, breadsticks, and their delicious cheese spread.“

“Kasa has beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area with a heart. The decor is gorgeous with pretty details sprinkled around. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. It is inspired by the recipes of the founder's grandmother and it is delicious. I love the chai there and love that they have a chai kit. They also have a location in Castro, San Francisco with its own unique decor and very friendly staff. Thank you Kasa for sharing your food and beauty with the Bay Area.“

“I ate at Pazzo on Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant is take out only. I ordered at the restaurant instead of on the phone. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The order took about 20 minutes and we had a drink outside while waiting. I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp and grits. Over anything else on the menu! And I was told the gnocchi was amazing too iAnd of course the pizza is awesome!“

This pizza was made with quality ingredients, with love and they saved the day today as I picked up the pizza I put it on the top of the car and when I drove off it fell and when I made a U-turn rto come back someone stole it already. We reached to them and spoke to the manager and he was very kind and went above and beyond to make us same pizza without paying for another one.
