“This is a great place in Los Altos with amazing Italian food. We tried this out for valentine's day and it is was amazing. Definitely planning to come back here. Especially loved their decaf cappuccino. Their chicken picante and chicken alfredo fettucini were amazing.However the one con was: They have a 2 seater table right next to the station where their water/napkin refill happens, and it is a a really horrible seating in the house. One of the servers accidentally broke a glass while doing some work next to us and the glass shards fell on us. This was before the food came, and I had half a mind to leave. But thankfully the more generous side of wife prevailed and we stayed. And it was worth, because the food was amazing.“

I was pleased to see the prices were still very affordable and reasonable, and they they had the same great dishes. I got half ravioli and have spaghetti in clam sauce, but it made me sick ?. I was in the bathroom all night and I know it was that sauce because that was literally all I had to eat that day. The breadsticks and cheese dip is still on point and I’m not afraid to eat there again but maybe that clam sauce just want right for me.“

It was easy to get a reservation and we had outside dining on the sidewalk with two heaters. The service was great. Our server was fantastic. The owner is always so cordial in his greeting of us and the staff always are so courteous and have smiles despite the busy atmosphere of this Valentine's dinner . The dedicated menu for the evening was sufficient to please the diverse palates ( though our friend who received the duck breast choice was a bit displeased because the slices were very thin and small compared to what was usually served to others ) but taste wise he said it was very good . The seabass and the lamb choices were delicious ... no complaints there !! I can highly recommend "Last Stand" (Gin, Aperol, Prosecco & perchaud Bitters) or the blood orange mocktail.We had two homemade pasta dishes that were both really tasty (Bolognese & cacio et pepe) and finished with a tiramisu shared between the two of us.The tiramisu was served in a small bowl which sadly meant a high cream to ladyfingers ratio. We ordered delivery for 6 family-sized pizzas for a student event, and each one was a hit -- the flavoring was great, and our students loved the variety of halal options! We had barely any pizza leftover. Also had great customer service experience; they were very patient with the large order and delivery radius, and the delivery person themselves was very kind in offering to help carry the large order to the venue (even though parking was difficult). “I've always had the pizza here which is great, but last night we had the pasta and it was just so so. My wife had the lobster ravioli which was ok, but there was minimal lobster and lots of ricotta. My papardelle with wild boar was meh. Pasta was nicely cooked, but the meat was tough and chewy and honestly tasted way more like beef than pork. It was in a watery broth with a few bits of mushroom and it didn't meld with the pasta at all. Salads were great, service is friendly and efficient and the place has a nice casual vibe. We'll keep going.“

Service is brusque and efficient but not particularly friendly or warm. The restaurant itself is usually very warm with the pizza oven running. We were celebrating a birthday on the last visit and felt rushed because they wanted to turn over the table.Parking: Usually plenty of spots since it shares space with a cost plus and other businesses that are only open during the day time.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. “Si nice to have a good Italian restaurant in Menlo Park! The outside patio is super cute and weather doesn't seem to make as big a difference as one may imagine. They have a covered area and big heaters throughout. The staff is friendly and the servers quite knowledgeable and offer suggestions for your meal. They do recommend family style (sharing) but we also got a couple of individual items. The pizza is probably my favorite part - it's a sourdough crust, which is probably why it's a close second only to the pizza I've had in Rome. Plenty of options for vegetarian/pescatarian folks, which we appreciated! Pictured are the octopus w tomatillo salsa verde and potato, and the vongole en crosta, which were killer! They are clams steamed INSIDE calzone-like pocket of love. Vongole is served table side where they add olive oil and fresh lemon juice. So good!“

They made the next size larger pizza and sent it out at that point without further delay. So, a mistake was made, but once realized, they did their best to make it right. It has been a long time since this happened, but it is not the first time. Consider placing your order over the phone or confirming it by phone if you have a really important delivery order.“

We had the Tuna Panino made with Tuna, capers, radishes with arugula and hard boiled egg. The Pollone is organic chicken breast, endive slaw. capers, onions over a ciabatta roll. Both were very tasty and the chicken breast was very tender and moist. We also ordered some plain croissants and bombolini to go. Linda's was famous for its Parisian burger & super fries (tater tots). Well, I ate a lot of Parisian burgers in my younger days and they were addicting. So recently I got a Parisian burger with tater tots to go that I took home to eat. The Parisian burger was big and delicious. It brought back memories of eating at Linda's. I could barely finish the burger and tater tots and I wasn't hungry for a long time afterwards. Great job with the Parisian burger Pezzella's.Valary who I met was really nice and we had a nice brief conversation.Last Saturday we had a really delicious dinner.We started with the fried artichoke hearts which were really good! Then an order of garlic bread.The breaded Veal Parmigiana, tomato sauce & mozzarella cheese was delicious due to the cut and quality of the meat which made it so tender..the tomato sauce was delicious as well. They have several veal dishes and are done old school, usually served with a side of pasta and a side of veggies.The Linguine with chopped clams in butter, garlic & white wine was also delicious.The wine was also very good and our server George was excellent!Valary was also working again and she's really nice!“

The style was more of an old school Italian, nice sauces, perfectly cooked pastas. The pizza bread was thick kind and the toppings tasty. Our favorites would be the tortellini and bolognese but the rest were equally nice. The dessert was divine and I am usually not a fan of lemon. Bread is served with dinner with butter and a nice dipping sauce.“
