Linda's was famous for its Parisian burger & super fries (tater tots). Well, I ate a lot of Parisian burgers in my younger days and they were addicting. So recently I got a Parisian burger with tater tots to go that I took home to eat. The Parisian burger was big and delicious. It brought back memories of eating at Linda's. I could barely finish the burger and tater tots and I wasn't hungry for a long time afterwards. We usually go to their place in Los Altos and the SV place is very similar. Order and pay at the counter on the RHS, seat yourselves on the LHS in the dining area and wait for your order brought to your table. This place is newer than the Los Altos location and they have identical menus.Wifey had the Meat Ravioli with Marinara Sauce and I had the Seafood Linguine with the house Salad. We both chose garlic bread, which could have used more garlic. I sampled some of the large round Ravioli and it was good. My house salad consisted of a generous amount of fresh Romaine lettuce, topped with carrots, red cabbage, tomatoes and a cucumber. My Linguine was excellent with a good quantity of the seafood in a slightly spicy tasty Marinara sauce.Service was fast, although every thing was brought to us at once, so my dish cooled off a bit while I finished my salad. Quantities were ample and a good value. Definitely repeatable.“

An excellent beet salad to start with, followed by this amazing artichoke appetizer. Best prepared artichoke I've ever had in my life! For my entree I had Bowl of Soul, which was like a fish stew with plenty of prawns and tender pieces of fish that I suspect might have been sea bass or cod? In any case, it was delicious! The owner is always so cordial in his greeting of us and the staff always are so courteous and have smiles despite the busy atmosphere of this Valentine's dinner . The dedicated menu for the evening was sufficient to please the diverse palates ( though our friend who received the duck breast choice was a bit displeased because the slices were very thin and small compared to what was usually served to others ) but taste wise he said it was very good . The seabass and the lamb choices were delicious ... no complaints there !! Our favorites would be the tortellini and bolognese but the rest were equally nice. The dessert was divine and I am usually not a fan of lemon.
