I always end up with half the box for dinner later. The owners are super friendly and gave some suggestions to try over the basic Alfredo sauce. Very much a lunch staple or a I don’t want to cook on the way home grab type of meal.“

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

Placed my order in online, pulled into one of the many dedicated pick-up parking spots and within a min or two a girl came out to my truck with my food and I was on my way. “Did you grow up on the East Coast getting your meat from an Italian deli? I did. And this brought me back. My hometown shop was called Rubino's. It smelled identical to Lucca's. Lucca's sourdough bread had me hooked every day I was here visiting. Impossible to stay away. Great meats and cheeses, and friendly staff too. Don't change Lucca's.“

The chopped salad and bread is always a must! Our friends loved everything! Our entrees, tops! My fav restaurant! “Rigatoni’s has homemade Lasagna that is delicious. They have the Combo deal. For $20 you can have a smaller portion of your entree, a salad and a drink and all you can eat bread. You can pick from 3 different kinds of salads. The salad that has tomatoes and lettuce with croutons, or a Caesar’s salad or the mixed green salad which has dried cranberries, feta cheese and candied walnuts. The mixed green salad has become a favorite choice. There are additional food choices under the Combo deal. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant. It’s not noisy. The restaurant is nice and clean making the dining experience a pleasant one. You can also sign up with Toast Tab to earn points on your meals. Since the restaurant is inside a shopping center they have parking right in front of the restaurant. Sometimes if the parking in front of the restaurant is unavailable there is other parking spots close by to park your vehicle.“

“Carlos was absolutely AMAZING! Our visit was on a VERY busy Friday night, and despite how busy it was, he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. We had a party of 6, so we were constantly needing something, but Carlos never forgot about us. Every time he passed our table, he checked in to see if we needed anything, and we never went without breadsticks!

“Ordered a simple large pepperoni pizza and it arrived in 36 minutes. Not bad, not great. But the wait was worth it in the end. The pizza is absolutely on point. I love the way the cheese is melted and the top layer of cheese is crispy, but not overly crispy. Tastes great and you can tell it’s hand made and very fresh. Will definitely order again.“

“We came for our 30th anniversary while Strizzi's is celebrating it's 40th, so we got soup and salad gratis. Not just a cup or a small salad but full blown servings. My clam chowder was among the best I ever had. The food was great - we had the lasagna and spaghetti with (3 big) meatballs. Our server, Jawad, was among the friendliest ever, and took the time to chat and take our picture. A lot of servers do that, but he was just a wonderfully friendly guy. Get there and see if he will serve you before he gets through college! We had not heard of this place before and took a flyer. Big score!“
