It was amazingly delicious at the first bit and came with slice of garlic bread. If You're a Pasta Lover, I highly recommend!“

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

Heads-up: don't believe the prices on the menu; they automatically tack on 5% to your bill so that they can pay their employees. Which, of course, is complete B.S. “They have really great service super fast delivery and if you eat here often or not they are predictable and each dish we have tried from the rigatone bolognese to the house spaghetti to the spicy chicken is fantastic. The experience is above average time and time again by ourselves (me and my daughter) or with friends (we have brought about 6 different people who have shared our enthusiasm) this restaurant is a absolutely fantastic experience. “This is a good Italian place to go to. Food is good, the ambiance is good and the service is great. Very intimate setting and you get to know the owner himself. I had the precciutto melone for appetizer. The balance of sweet and a little salty is great. For main course, I had the lobster ravioli which was delicious. “My family has been coming to Luccas for as long as I can remember. First in San Leandro and now in Castro Valley. My Grandfather patterned his potato salad after theirs. On my most recent visit, I grabbed some prepared dishes... Chicken fettuccine alfredo ... And they were amazing. Easy to cook. I lightly seasoned to my taste“

Most of it was pretty bland … the cucumber tomato ‘salad’ with my avocado toast did not even have salt! For this price and the place - I expected more. The juices were good, and they brought a sample of a coffee cake and beet juice that was delicious.“

I believe the person I spoke with today was the Area manager who was helping the team today and he was super nice great conversation and he was very confident in the food . He did not steer me wrong and I love that you can literally get it by the slice ! I got two slices and wings today the wings were solid ! It was a very welcoming friendly environment and I feel like that’s what we need . A few regulars were in the restaurant while I was eating and they were having great conversation about food with the staff . I definitely recommend this place to everyone especially for families“
