“The atmosphere in this place is great, awesome beer selection, lots of TVs for sports, small game area for the kids and an overall great place for large gatherings. However, the pizza on multiple visits is just ok. We’ve tried the garlic chicken and a couple of others, maybe the appetizers are better, but so far it’s been hit or miss on the pizza choices. As our daughter gets older and goes through HS, I’m sure we’ll be back to try again.Does anyone have a recommendation as to what the best pizza or food option is at Porky’s?“
“Brava Garden Eatery was such a treat! We felt so well taken care of by the friendly staff, and the food was absolutely delicious – The vibe was just perfect for a memorable evening out. The only downside was the wine selection, which didn't quite hit the mark, but honestly, it didn't ruin our experience at all. We left with happy bellies and big smiles.“
“We went here for our anniversary.Loved the ambiance. It's small and cute.Service was exceptional. Our server had his italian accent added perfect touch to the ambiance and food that we ordered :)Yummy drinks, great food. Everything was finger licking tasty. Definitely recommend!“
“My 1st time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. The waitress was AWESOME. Her recommendation of the steelhead trout was a straight win. The trout had a slight char to the skin which enhanced the flavor. The trout was well seasoned. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were a win. Definitely a 10/10 meal.“
“Pasta's is very reliable in terms of service and the quality of the food and drinks. We eat there about once a month. The restaurant does offer tasting specials for items not on the menu (individual items on the special menu may also be ordered a la carte) but I would appreciate it if the regular menu could be revised from time to time.“
“It's a 'cozy' place - very small. If it's all about the pizza for you though, this is the place. Pizza Bello has the best pizza in Pleasanton. We've tried others in town, from the big places to other cozy places, and we always return to Pizza Bello (and maybe even feel a little guilty!) The owners are so friendly, along with everyone else who works there.“
“Chianti Reserve is our favorite restaurant on Main Street! The food is always delicious and the specials of the day are outstanding. The fish dishes are always fresh and all the dishes are tastefully prepared! The managers and servers are friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is warm and we're treated like family!“
“We were in the area as a team for work and went to Baci for dinner. It’s typical of this area that prices are above average and Baci is no exception. However, we really enjoyed the food and the service was particularly good. I had a the 20oz prime steak and it was cooked perfectly - yum! However, I’d skip the lobster-mac-cheese balls as they were pretty bland without the marinara sauce“
“This is my favorite cheese pizza in the bay area. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to a New England style pizza (even though the name is NY). Contrary to the other reviews, I think it’s great! Had a large party sized pie and the kids loved it too.“
“I've been coming here for over 30 years. Still, the best pizzas in the tri-valley area (with Zachary's/San Ramon) being a close 2nd. Gave 4-stars this visit because our pizza toppings were a bit "cheap" (zucchini and canadian bacon) and they weren't cooked enough (they were cool to the touch/taste). The pizza itself was a bit underdone too. Disappointing but still tasty anyway. We got there just before the (Alameda Cty.) fair-crowd. So, there was a line out the door when we left. Good timing on our part. One other thing. We ordered a mushroom saute for an app. It arrived after the pizza (?). I saw it sitting on the food counter for about 10-minutes before it came over . I complained to my waitress, so she (very nice of her and the right thing to do), didn't charge for the app. She "said" the kitchen was backed up (but the place wasn't very full at the time and I saw the app sitting on the "outgoing food counter"). So, she lied about what happened to it. Not that important, since she comp'd us that dish anyway.Edit, two years later. Took my GF to Gay-90s, as she used to live in Pleasanton about 10-yrs. ago and loved their pizza. The pizza, as usual, was stellar (we had a 3-topping small pizza). Toppings were generous and tasty but it did take 60 minutes from the initial order (they weren't that busy with dine in customers but maybe take-out was busy? We were sitting outside and could not see take out orders). We also ordered "garlic-bread" (which used to be free). Well, now, it's $4.95 per order. This tasted neither garlicky, nor tasty. It was (basically) a toasted/dry 1/2 loaf of cut sourdough bread. But it had absolutely NO taste. Very disappointed. Never complained to the waiter because I was on a date. Usually, the garlic bread has plenty of garlic and not dry (it used to have both a butter and/or olive oil finish in/on the bread w/lots of garlic). This had neither. I will never order that again (especially, for 5 bucks). I deducted a star for both the garlic/non-garlic bread and the exceptionally long wait (60-minutes is unacceptable - especially since dine in wasn't full).Revisited here [2/2024] with GF and just had the pizza, which was stellar, again. Still the best pizza in the Tri-Valley. We did lunch this time and ordered a half and half small pizza, which came out quickly and tasted excellent. In the past, I/we have ordered a starter/app and didn't have 'room' for the pizza, so, this time we just ordered the pizza and we both ate it all. Gave it and the service 4-stars [would have given 4.5 stars]. Our waitress was good but seemed distracted, hence, the 4-stars instead of 5. Interestingly enough, Zachary's is now across the street [moved from San Ramon]. So now, there's a bit more competition for G-90's. I still prefer G-90's over Zachary's but they are getting closer [almost a tie for pies].“
“This is the best pizza made by the best owner!! I mean, slices the size of your head, ice cream, sandwiches, salads, drinks..everything!! Customer service is always great no matter the time of day! Thank you for the memories and the slices :)Kid-friendliness: It is a pizza shop fagettaboutit!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, has tables and very spacious for wheelchair“
“Went for Tri-Valley restaurant week.. Nice menu of hearty minestrone soup and boar ragu with fresh pasta. So delicious! A crisp cannelloni was the dessert. On a cold rainy night, the restaurant was packed with locals who know where to go for warmth, comfort and filling, homey, yummy food.“
