“We have held several get togethers at Stella’s- it’s the perfect location for the Friday night concerts but weekdays are great too. It’s very comfortable going there with casual to fine dining and dress wear is anything goes. I prefer to dress up with friends and go to Stella’s for appetizers and cocktails. They have a great wine selection also. I highly recommend Stella’s for a fun upbeat place to meet with friends or even solo. You can eat at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine. You are welcomed there with a smile and everyone is so friendly too!“

“Just had a GREAT experience at Melo’s today! We had a large group (24+) where we pre-ordered pizza and salads. They set us up in an area perfect for our group. Our food was set up on one table…buffet style…and we had plenty of tables to sit and eat. Highly recommend Melo’s pizza and pasta in Danville!“

“I had a takeout pizza from this restaurant last night first of all the customer service was absolutely excellent. The person that answered the phone had a really pleasant customer focused manner , nothing was too much trouble and he was so polite. The pizza was absolutely amazing , I hate anything that is too heavy and it was so light and lovely , the ingredients tasted extremely fresh , I would 100% recommend this place based upon my first experience and I will be back thanks so much 🥰“

“Beautifully decorated traditional Italian restaurant. Great light lunch with a simple Verandah Salads and an added grilled prawns. Portion of salads were unexpectedly big and the grilled prawns excellently cooked. Scampi e Pancrtta grilled prawn wrapped with pancetta great dish.“

“We have been to Rosmarino a few times - found it by accident while looking for well rated Italian restaurants in the area (we recently moved to Danville). The food was excellent with several vegetarian options, the service is friendly, and they have a nice wine selection. They offer a monthly (I think) wine and food pairing where they highlight wines from a region or country. We asked and they were able to give us vegetarian options for each course. It was an excellent experience, and we got to meet some interesting people at our table.“

“I really like Pancoast. Wife is a newyorker and Pancoast’s pizza style is right up her alley. They have 4 tap beers and they’re some of the best in Norcal - nice to see somebody cares about great beer. I order to go, get a beer at the bar, and take home. They’re seemingly busy all the time so Pancoast has a following.

Parking sucks, they have to share with their neighboring businesses so plan to get a spot on the street.“

“Doppio Zero is a wonderful pizza restaurant with great food and a fantastic atmosphere. Their signature Doppio Zero pizza was excellent, and the quality of the cheese really stood out—it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious.

The restaurant has a very ambient atmosphere with a modern downtown restaurant feel, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. We were really happy with both the food and the quality of service. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely recommend Doppio Zero to anyone looking for good pizza and a nice dining atmosphere!“

“Took my friend here for a Mother’s Day lunch. She was feeling blue because her kids didn’t show up. Panini’s was the closest and most convenient since I had to go back to work. “I visited the Castro Valley location tonight after the Dublin restaurant closed. This location is excellent, with friendly and attentive wait staff. The food quality is consistently high. We ordered the Italian sausage fettucini and Cajun chicken fettucini with a salad combo, and both pastas were served hot and fresh. My family is definitely committed to returning to this restaurant.“

“Primavera is a great place to eat, the chicken saltimbocca was cooked perfectly. While most restaurants have been increasing prices and skimping on ingredients my dish was reasonably priced and delicious with a perfect sized piece of chicken, prosciutto. I was disappointed the bread and caponata sauce was an additional $6.00 but I guess that is what keeps the other dish prices down. A great place to treat yourself to a wonderful meal.“

“Ordered a simple large pepperoni pizza and it arrived in 36 minutes. Not bad, not great. But the wait was worth it in the end. The pizza is absolutely on point. I love the way the cheese is melted and the top layer of cheese is crispy, but not overly crispy. Tastes great and you can tell it’s hand made and very fresh. Will definitely order again.“

“Had a great dinner at North Italia. The white truffle garlic bread was spectacular, easily the highlight of the meal and so delicious. The Bolognese was excellent, and the Ciao Bella cocktail was smooth, sweet, and really good.

We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed, so the atmosphere was loud and lively. Service was great overall, although as it got more crowded later in the evening, we saw less of our waiter. Still, we had a great time and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.“

The food was fresh, delicious and worth the wait. Great customer service. They have a few tables outside, it was a beautiful day so it was nice. “Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience here. The service was extremely poor, and our server was incredibly rude and had a bad attitude throughout our visit. He repeatedly rolled his eyes at us and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

What bothered us most was the way he served the food. Instead of placing the plates down normally, he would practically drop them onto the table from above with such an aggressive attitude that it felt disrespectful and almost as if he wanted to throw them at us.

Good food can’t make up for service that makes customers feel disrespected. I really hope management takes this seriously and provides better customer-service training.“

“These folks have been in business for a long time (since the 70's or 80's I think) and they make really good pizza. Like the name implies, it's take out or delivery only. We have a few pizza places (Sorentos and Melo's) we like to go for sit down dinner, but Strictly to Go makes pizza that is right up there with the best of them, and they are so much better than the chain locations nearby. They're family owned and operated, so money spent here is going back to the community. I typically make my own BBQ at home in my smoker, so I haven't tried the ribs. That said, I can fully imagine they're great too.“

The pizza is authentic - thin, Brooklyn-style dough and tremendous red sauce. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and they don't skimp on the toppings, either.

Whenever I order takeout, I always order some meatballs, too. They're packed with flavor, light, and come with a generous serving of their delicious marinara.

Vinnie's also has fantastic handmade desserts - both their tiramisu and cannoli are fantastic.

Oh, and they make REALLY tasty garlic knots as well. You're going to want 2 orders, trust me.

I'll also add that the staff and owner are super friendly, generous people. They've donated gift cards and t-shirts to my daughter's school auction multiple times, and are genuinely kind, caring folks. Vinnie's will forever be my go-to to-go pizza place!“
