The Clams & Linguini was very good with lots of clams. The tiramisu is fabulous. The only down side was my granddaughter found a hair in her pasta. They comped it and gave her a new one but she was hesitant about eating the new one.
We have been to Rosmarino a few times - found it by accident while looking for well rated Italian restaurants in the area (we recently moved to Danville). The food was excellent with several vegetarian options, the service is friendly, and they have a nice wine selection. I do not have any complaints about the food. The food is actually very delicious. I’ve been at this restaurant many times. Last time I visited, I decided to get eggplant Parmesan. This dish is $30. It only comes with one paper thin slice of eggplant and a few pieces of vegetables. Typically eggplant Parmesan is served with a side of pasta and maybe some vegetables. Rosmarino offers an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere in the San Ramon area. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the staff matches the excellent food. The menu includes Clams & Linguini, tiramisu, short ribs, ribeye, fennel and clam appetizer, chocolate decadent cake, eggplant Parmesan, and many vegetarian options. The food is very good, absolutely delicious and fabulous. The short ribs are tender and tasty, served on a bed of polenta with spinach. The Clams & Linguini is very good with lots of clams. The tiramisu is fabulous. The eggplant Parmesan is thinly sliced and served with pasta and vegetables, though some find the portion small for $30. The wine selection is nice and the restaurant offers a monthly wine and food pairing highlight wines from a region or country. The staff is friendly, fabulous and made people feel at home. The dining experience is wonderful, a perfect place to relax, enjoy great conversation and try different dishes. Locals need to support this place, which feels like one of those places you instantly want to come back to.
