Locanda Ravello is a restaurant with a great location, particularly during summer nights, where their patio becomes a wonderful place to sit. The food offerings are decent, but not particularly exceptional. One of the day's specials, Caccio e Pepe, was found to be disappointing as it arrived barely warm and its preparation differed from the traditional recipe. The Lasagne and pasta with cheese sauce were described as basic, with a suggestion that spicy sausage could have improved the pasta dish.
Service at the restaurant has received mixed reviews. While the staff did offer a dessert to make up for a long wait before being seated, there were issues with service during dinner, including lack of attention and an accidental addition of $40 worth of cocktails to the bill. Also, a request to accommodate food allergies was not successfully met.
