I have been eating here for years. The food is consistently excellent and the service, warm, professional and very attentive. I have brought many friends here and they quickly became fans! Best pizza in SF imo.
Food was delicious and service was the best, I hadn't been here in about 40 yrs and the food is still incredible. I will return the next time I come back home.

Haystack pizza is a neighbor restaurant with an old school vibe that reminds many of Midwest restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, often guiding guests to new favorites. Parking can be an issue, but the restaurant remains clean and looks brand new even after more than 50 years. Service may be a bit slow sometimes, yet the overall dining experience is great. Food is consistently excellent, made from scratch, and includes garlic bread, spaghetti with meatballs, personal pizza, and veal. Many guests return for celebrations, such as a nephew’s birthday party, a private back‑room setup for watching the 49er game, or a New Year’s Eve dinner with complimentary champagne glasses. The venue hosts large groups, such as a 40‑plus crowd for a third‑grade soccer celebration, and offers a post‑meal playground nearby. Overall, Haystack pizza is a Noe Valley staple, welcoming, and the best pizza in SF according to many fans.
