When we went it was crowded and took a while to receive food. To me this is a good thing, because they took their time to prepare good food. Also parking was somewhat hard to find in its industrial neighborhood. Plan accordingly!”

“We had our grandmother's celebration of life. Staff was amazing. The restaurant is closed from 2:30 to 4:30 and we were able to rent out the entire restaurant during that time. The restaurant was large enough to accommodate all of our family and friends who came to celebrate my grandmother's celebration of life. The food was delicious and exquisite.”

“I've tried all the vegetarian burritos in town, and La Perla has the best. All ingredients of a super burrito (minus meat) and comes with extra veggies inside - peppers, onions, and spinach fajita style - rather than just a regular burrito, but with less, like most places do. It stands out among the Mexican restaurants in town for vegetarian options. Very good homemade salsas”

“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. The "award winning" fish and chips were great! Calamari too. Great food, generous portions & good view of our boats. Staff was fun too. Cheers!”

“What a BEAUTIFUL place. The owner is so friendly and you can see she really takes pride in her place. Ambiance is so cute and chic and so accommodating to our little girls. The tea party towers were so well put together and the food was actually delicious. Tbh we have spent upwards of 500+$ to go have tea at places like the fairmont in the city, and id still pick this place over that.”

“This gem is tucked away in a strip mall off the Main Street and it’s a portal to fine dining. The ambiance was so intimate and calm I could absolutely see it as a perfect setting for a girls night, or rehearsal dinner for wedding parties or just a nice date night out where the food is the star and the company is stellar. Sohei you are a culinary genius and have done a tremendous job curating this experience! Thank you for making my layover feel like a European vacation! Not if, but WHEN you go, DO NOT miss the fresh sourdough bread! I could barely finish my last two courses because I needed to eat all the bread that was served to the table!”

“The appetizer course alone was worth the visit — miso-marinated grilled fish, crispy fried river shrimp, and inari sushi filled with hijiki rice. We also added sashimi and it was excellent too. Delicate, but with real depth of flavor. After that you choose from three mains; I went with the duck served over a soba-based salad, which was perfectly summery — cool, light, and refreshing. I am originally from Japan, and this genuinely felt like sitting in a ryotei back home. This was lunch, so I’m curious to come back for dinner next time!”

“Really good Afghan food from a food truck. This place is basically quick and go. It's in a parking lot, with basically no place to eat. So maybe plan to eat in your car. But the food is well worth it!”
