“We were seated immediately with a nice view. The cocktails were excellent, particularly the special on the board above the bar. Perfectly balanced, interesting and exciting. We started with the ceviche, which was incredibly fresh and bright on the palate. A perfect opener. We had the mushroom empanadas, our favorite of the day, which were rich in flavor and very satisfying with a coconut and cilantro sauce that made us order a second plate. We also enjoyed the yucca croquettes and the curry sauce.”

“My husband and I stumbled upon this place while searching on yelp and driving along HWY 1. It is such a cute tucked away cafe overlooking the ocean. Literally, amazing views!! The owner, Jocelyn, was such a delight to talk to. And her food was even more amazing!We had the tocino plate, adobo loco moco and the bibingka pancakes. We forgot to rate pictures of the first two dishes, but the pancakes, AMAZING. We definitely are going to be visiting more!”

“Ironically, clam chowder is middling but clam chowder is so subjective to a person. My favorite is still Hog island's clam chowder so you can kinda gage my preferences. Everything else was ok, cocktails are very ordinary, even their specials. Their fish and chips however, was really good.”

“This is a solid Three stars. The food was fresh but the cost is outrageously high.I had the naked lobster sandwich and a small bowl ( cup) of clam chowder.The chowder was rich and creamy and red but I didn’t see any lobster bits in it. Mainly corn. I think I the name comes from the fact that they use the shells to create a broth to make the bisque. The Sandwich had a good amount of bits of lobster, but because I ordered the naked one, it was not dressed next time I will definitely order the dressed sandwich. The chips were excellent.”

“1st time I went, I had seen the price on their online menu. When they rang it up, they upped the price. OK, I told em and accepted they did not set up their website and I learned not to use that pricing.Their Linguine with Clams and pear salad have brought me back a few time. The best Linguine and Clams anywhere.Pacifica is not loaded with good restaurants. Staff is nice, food comes quick and is great for either dine in, or take out.”

“When you arrive before opening and see a line that's usually a good sign, and it was no exception here. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. We mainly got the hamburgers / special burgers and the herb salad. However, we'd love to try the other items on the menu as everything else had was tasty.”

“I have to admit, as an airplane nerd I’m perhaps a little biased since this spot is at the Half Moon Bay airport it here it goes!Pilot Light is literally in an old terminal building so to the reviews that say it feels like it…. Yeah. But that said, I enjoy the environment. It’s relaxed and bustling at the same time. There’s a good sized outdoor patio with several tables when the weather is good. There’s usually a few operations of general aviation aircraft every hour.The food: I have yet to have anything here that isn’t good. I’ve tried several meals, and the Huevos Rancheros is definitely a fave. Presentation is always pretty, too!There was one review about the plastic glasses being worse for wear, but that problem is solved by nice aluminum glasses. Even the coffee, which is tasty, is served in an aluminum insulated cup!Pilot Light is definitely on my must go list in the area. The service is always friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: Looks like it would be good.”

“This is actually my first time going to Pasta Moon at its new location. We were going to sit outside however the air tonight is very smoky and so we decided to do takeout. My daughters favorite dish is the eggplant Parmesan and I decided to take her advice and order it also. It was ready for pick up within 15 minutes, was still warm and included two kinds of bread and extra Parmesan cheese. This was utterly delicious and new favorite dish. We look forward to coming again and sitting outside or doing takeout since that was fine.”

“We ate wings here last year- best we've ever had. Crunchy, hot, amazing sauces, fast service. Went back thinking no way they are that good. We had to have been tired or really hungry or something. We knew, we were cashing the dragon. But we went again on Easter...and HOT DAMN!! BETTER than we remembered!! So rarely does food measure up across time and memory! They did not disappoint! The fry on these wings is special and spectacular!! NOT TO BE MISSED! The MVP and Lemon Honey wings- I miss them already. Great onion rings too! Plus a great jukebox.”

“I have eaten here four times now and every meal is incredible, and for an airport hotel restaurant, truly unbelievable. The hotel is lovely in every way, miles beyond the alternatives. But the restaurant is one of the reasons I stay here whenever I have a morning flight. Tonight had the lobster miso bisque, and the seared scallops, and I don't think I've had better versions of either in a decade. The scallops and the lobster were as tender as they could ever be and the flavors were amazing. Service and ambience is great too. They have wines by the glass that you normally must pay for a bottle - and a first rate twist on a Paper Plane if you're a cocktail person. Be sure to get a table by the window to watch the planes...”

“Heard about this from.my granddaughter. We love Chinese food and hadn’t found a place near us in Daly City. This was just delicious. We had 9 different dishes and everyone of them was fabulous. Cooked to,order, fresh,lightly battered, crispy. Judy was so friendly and enjoyable. Treat yourself to an affordable delicious meal. We are looking forward to,our next visit. They do not have their liquor license yet, so we took our own wines. Very accommodating and so so good!1”

“This spot is such an amazing find. The food is delicious, the staff are all incredibly kind, and it's a very casual restaurant to grab lunch or dinner. This restaurant has entered my rotation of post-workout dinners when I just want something tasty and filling. I usually order the Erbil Kebab, which comes with rice and salad. It's a huge portion for one person, but a little small to feed two. You certainly get a ton of value for the price! Also... the toum (garlic sauce) is addictive--You've been warned!”

“This place is FANTASTIC. I went here for the first time tonight, and was just blown away. I had high expectations because the reviews were already so good, and they met them and were even exceeded.First off, the inside of the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, as well as clean and orderly. They have different seating options depending on if it is shared or individual hot pots, but all of them are fine. The menu is extensive and straight forward. You select your options using a dry erase menu, and then they bring it out. In addition to the usual hot pot staples, they also have tasty appetizers and desserts like crab rangoons, beef short ribs, freshly fried Chinese donuts, ice cream, and fried dough with evaporated milk. And yes, as many other reviews mention, the biang biang noodles are EXCELLENT!The final thing I have to really sing the praise of is the service. The staff member we had waiting on us was SO kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Near the end of the meal, my mom wanted to sample things so she was requesting single items. Like just one single fish ball, and just two pieces of Chinese donut. The waitress did not even bat an eye at these requests, and she did indeed come back with a single fish ball, and sample size portions of the Chinese donut. It was going above and beyond! She also made sure to ask if we wanted ice cream since it isn’t on the menu and she wanted to be sure we knew they had it! I gave her a generous tip because she honestly made our night better with her cheery and helpful presence, and she even came back over and thanked us. No thanks was needed, we just wanted to thank her!All in all, Top Pot was a wonderful experience and I definitely plan to be back!”

“The food and service here are absolutely top-notch! Today, I indulged in the Code Bleu burger, perfectly charbroiled to a juicy medium. Topped with Bleu Cheese, rich BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, a large onion ring, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a pickle, it was hands down the tastiest burger I've ever had! And those sweet potato fries? Crispy, sweet perfection. We also tried the French Dip, generously filled with thinly sliced top sirloin, accompanied by savory au jus and crispy fries. Every dish we've tried here has been consistently delicious. For excellent food, cozy ambiance, and exceptional service, I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Authentic Thai Cuisine in Half Moon Bay in the Strawflower Shopping Center from the talented Chef formerly of Spice Me. My review is for takeout, the service was friendly and helpful in selecting the level of spice to the Basil Chicken. The Pineapple Fried Rice with Prawns was the perfect accompaniment to the Spicy Basil Chicken. The Shui Mai were served with a delicious dipping sauce, we also enjoyed the Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls and the Baked Pork Bun. All items were packaged separately with the dipping sauces. There are tables if you choose to dine in.”

“Made the short walk from the resort to this wonderful little coffee "shop". It's more like a stationary food truck. Really appreciated their early morning hours, as I was working remotely on central time so my workday started at 6:30am. Many of the other cafes I looked at in the area didn't open until 7:00am. The Yelp map seems to have them located on slightly the wrong location. They are around the corner. Use Apple Maps or Google maps for the proper location. It's on Harvard.Ordered an iced cold brew with a splash of vanilla syrup, a banana, and an almond danish. The service was friendly and helpful.The cold brew coffee was smooth and delicious and the almond danish was sweet and tasty. Appreciated that they had some fresh fruit and the banana hit the spot.I'll definitely be back while I'm in the area.”

“This was a great meal to start the day. With lots of options from breakfast to dinner this is a perfect place for any time of the day. I had the souvlaki which came with soft pita and lots of tzatziki which I loved. The salad and fries were also a great side. My boyfriend had the home run and he said the sandwich was good and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was great as well! We chose a table outside and it was a little dirty but they quickly noticed and wiped it down for us. Parking can be found on the street.”

“This Sichuan restaurant is a gem! The dry pot shredded cabbage is incredibly tasty, and the spicy hot pot with fresh fish slices is simply outstanding. The texture of the fresh fish fillets is so amazing. If you're a fan of Sichuan cuisine, this place is a must-try!”
