“A solid four. The only minus star is something with which others might disagree -- the piano. It encourages narcissistic displays of very loud playing, which drown out people trying to talk or write or read or whatever. Truly annoying. But that said, the service is great and the iced latte yummy. And what's nice is that they have for-here straws. Good touch.“
“My family and I stayed in a rental house right near the Chit Chat Cafe and walked over every morning for our morning coffee. When we made a grocery run for snacks, we considered getting coffee to make in our rental. We unanimously agreed we'd much rather walk over to the Chit Chat Cafe every morning hahaTheir brewed drip coffee is great for those who prefer regular coffee in the morning (a lot of the VRBO reviews for our house had mentioned how surprisingly good their coffee is lol). Their lattes are also delicious! Try their B&W latte!Great food options as well. We enjoyed their bagels and pastries for breakfast and were so surprised by how good their sandwiches are for lunch. Their sandwiches are large! Get the pulled pork sandwich. You'll smell them cooking the pork outside as you walk up and that's all you need to know that it's going to be delicious!Thanks for being so nice and being a wonderful part of our Spring Break vacation :)“

The FRIENDLIEST staff [they even helped jumpstart my car once!], the best environment [smack dab in the beauty of Pacifica w/a wonderful community garden walk to the ocean just across Highway 1], & the very yummiest boba [try Rainbow Road with regular & bursting boba combo!]. “I have to strongly disagree with whoever gave this place and one star review I have not met the owner personally.However, I plan to email her because I want to ask her to carry some of my crafts.The person who manages this coffee shop is the owner sister, and she is nothing short of fantastic, I visited this coffee shop with my mother and my two-year-old now and he nearly wanted to destroy the place.They were so kind and so nice she let us stay even after the place was closed so that he could finish his meal and I could finish my work.I have bought jewelry and the best sandwiches and pretty good coffee.Planning to stop by there this week and I hope those of you visiting Pacifica will also stop by and support this coffee shop and all the other local businesses down the street .❤️“
“Such a good spot with excellent food. We ordered a Cubano and a mocha for coffee, lite-eater and brekkie for food, and finally a pear tart. Everything was so good and we got to sit in the sunshine while enjoying it.Parking: Parking fills fast due to surfers. We parked in front of the grocery store“

“Lovely cafe near the beach in Pacifica with a great patio giving you the choice of inside or outside dining. They have a bathroom that's always clean - I've been coming for years. Staff and the owner are very kind and get your order out quick. They make one of the best London Fogs in the city (called Pacifica Fog on their menu). Most baristas will go the easy route of brewing the tea in half a cup of hot water and pour milk for the remainder; not Cafe Pacifica! They make it the correct way by steaming your choice of milk and allowing the tea to brew in it. Not to mention, their bagels are amazing and made how you would at home - fully indulgent with lots of cream cheese.“
“What can I say? This is a cute little family run shop! My Girlfriends and I stopped on our first day in Pacifica on our way tot Muir Woods (30min drive north). We went for the convenience but we always try to support the small businesses. As we walked in, we were greeted by someone who was obviously a local regular. We made our orders and the people behind the counter were quick to strike up conversation. We were made to feel like we were a part of their community and not just tourists. All of the coffee fare is the same you can get most anywhere at a nominal price. They have some tasty pastries. I really enjoyed my Jalapeno ham and cheese croissant was really good. We ended up going every morning of our weeklong stay in Pacifica. They made us feel so welcome. We will for sure return when we stay there again.“
“Lived out my Mischa Barton OC dreams by hanging out at the Bait Shop (i.e. Chit-Chat Café) at the pier this morning with my baby. Staff held the door open for me so I could maneuver the stroller inside. Prices are great, staff is super friendly and helpful, coffee is solid, and there are tons of food options. The ambiance is a charmingly worn coastsiders dream, complete with deteriorating vintage green stools. I'm bored of sleek monotone contemporary coffee shops, and much prefer a space like Chit-Chat that has so much character and is, I'm certain, home to quite a few characters as well.“
“Our new go-to for spring rolls and papaya salad!!! **Our favorites: Shrimp papaya salad Shrimp spring roll I appreciate how their shrimp spring rolls have slices of pork and crunchy thick cucumbers. The peanut sauce is also perfectly thick and not runny. I dislike when the peanut sauce is too runny or too thick. The papaya salad is SO refreshing and the shrimp was C L E A N and sliced perfectly. Such a cute store name and the staff are very friendly and sweet. Parking is very very limited as there are stores next door within the tiny plaza.“
