“We worked with them for our wedding this year and had a great experience from start to finish. They were extremely responsive, patient, and flexible throughout the whole process, which made everything feel much easier.

All of our guests told us they really enjoyed the food, and we were also happy to support a women-run business with a clear emphasis on local ingredients and produce. The staff were all so nice, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed working together and cared about what they were doing.

The young proprietor had us sample all three enchilada sauces since we were unsure about which ones to pick. All three were delicious, but the the mole sauce was one of the best I had ever tasted. His grandma’s recipe, he said. Overall, a great experience! Serendipitous!!“

“We had such a wonderful experience with Thai Rice Spoon Catering! They had great communication throughout the entire process, were flexible with our options, and gave us helpful recommendations on what to order, which made planning so easy.

They arrived a few minutes early, and the food was warm, fresh, and delicious. Our guests absolutely loved it, and many went back for seconds!

They also provided plates, utensils, and serving spoons, which made setup and cleanup so much easier.

“Dabao is DaBOMB. Went for dinner there last night. I am visiting from Vancouver and so needed to try tried all of Emily’s signature plates. Each plate was better than the next. Flavorful, fresh and just absolutely delicious. And the spicy condiments were sooo good. This is not your average food court fare. Not only is this the best option at the Metreon, it’s up there with the best options in town. They also cater and you can order through all the delivery apps. Try it and you will not be disappointed.“

“Tasty food and friendly staff! Booked Liberation Foods to cater the appetizers and buffet-style meal for my May 2025 wedding. Conducted a tasting prior to booking which was helpful to identify menu items. Also liked that tasting fee was credited to overall bill. Due to venue constraints, opted to have food dropped off the day of the event in lieu of prepared onsite. When there was a mix-up with one of the sides, catering staff quickly returned back to the venue with the correct item. Would definitely recommend for your catering needs and I will definitely book with them in the future!“

“I recently had Jason cook for my 40th birthday backyard/pool party for ~18 adults and he was phenomenal! Not only are his paellas and tapas incredibly tasty, he is also an all around great person. We had the paella Valencia moderna and the vegetarian paella and both were excellent, even better than the paellas I have had in Spain. My friends/family are still raving about his food! The presentation of everything was very impressive and really elevated the already exceptional flavors of all the food. Beginning with the hostess, the servers and including the mixologist our visit was the complete culinary experience. The aesthetics, the presentation and most of all the savoriness of the meal was everything we anticipated. The restaurant’s ambience was a smart mix of soft lighting, lively music, conversations and tantalizing aromas of the meals being served. Our order included the Creole Snow Crab, Garlic Noodles and Blacked Prawns and the Catfish Prawns and Oysters. The food temperature was perfect and the portions generous. “We just had a major milestone event in our backyard, and had a wonderful experience with Chef Margaret Riesen's Vegetarian Gourmet Catering service. Not only did we enjoy planning and working with Chef Margaret and one of her staff, Soledad, the food was exceptional! Guests were raving about the appetizers (they included veggie samosas, tortellini skewers and baba ganoush), the side dishes - King Solomon Salad and quinoa tabbouleh with mint (and more), and the main dishes -- a curry, tamari, coconut milk tofu stew and a luscious lasagna! Friends contributed desserts, but Chef Riesen's dessert selections look delicious as well! We also felt that the pricing of Vegetarian Gourmet was reasonable and there was plenty of food and leftovers! We thank Chef Riesen sincerely for helping to contribute to a very successful party!“

Roderick's doesn't beat the BBQ from back home, but for California BBQ standards, it was a solid 10/10. Overall I'd give them an 8/10 if we're comparing across the entire US BBQ space. They did a fabulous job for my daughter’s graduation party with over 150 guests, and more recently catered another special event I hosted. Both times, they delivered beautifully.

The food is absolutely delicious, with a wonderful selection of dishes to choose from, but what truly sets them apart is their exceptional service. The care, professionalism and personal attention they bring to every event is outstanding.
