From their complete package and pricing (limit the number of vendors you need!), to our phenomenal tasting experience, to their IMPECCABLE service the day of, they are top-notch across the board. “I'm from the southeast and grew up eating some of the best BBQ in the world. I've also had BBQ all over the US, including Texas, Kansas City, Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Roderick's doesn't beat the BBQ from back home, but for California BBQ standards, it was a solid 10/10. Overall I'd give them an 8/10 if we're comparing across the entire US BBQ space. We tried smoked chicken and ribs with coleslaw and baked beans. It was delicious and we will be back. Thanks Roderick's for the friendly and quick service!“

The food is truly authentic Italian — the pasta was incredible, the kind of meal that reminds you of a home-cooked Sunday dinner. Jerry is one of the friendliest, most genuine people you'll ever work with — he somehow made a corporate event feel like a family gathering. If you're in San Francisco and need catering, this is your guy. Great food, great service, great personality — he even won over a bunch of techies like us. “We had Chef Aaron cater a birthday party at our house with about 50 guests and it was an incredible experience. From the start, he was professional, friendly and easy to communicate with. Prices were very reasonable, and the food is unbelievably delicious. He was punctual, set up a buffet for the party and cleaned up after. Our guests were obsessed with the bbq tacos, and many got like 4 plates bc they loved it so much. Veg options were available for my vegetarian friends too. “Since moving to Concord, when I am craving any sort of gyro or shawarma this is the place I go to now. This place introduced me to the Turkish style since where I am from most shawarma places are Iraqi, Syrian or Lebanese. When I am super hungry I get the Sams combo which is worth the price. Their sauces as sides are great as well especially the red sauce. I like the brightness it brings (some say its spicy but as a spice freak, it is definitely on the tanginess/ bright side but if you dont handle spice well, you will find it spicy). Amazing falafels as that is definitely their best protein they offer not to count out their chicken and beef. I also like the chickpeas in the rice as well.
If you are in the area, definitely give Sam's a try. Anything I have ordered from their plates to their wraps has always been great. Also the hummus you can taste that its home made.“

Context: I used to cater society weddings in Washington DC (senators' kids, etc) and my catering captain who taught me everything was at my wedding. We were both very impressed with the professionalism, the food, the staff; Basilico nailed it from start to finish. Manny is passionate about food and it shows, the staff was so attentive and CARING - I can't think of another word. “They’re made to order $1 Taco Tuesday is a tradition in my house! That’s also because our cook (me) gets a break. Everyone in my family loves Taco their Tuesday, even my dog knows what “Taco Tuesday” means and gets excited!
Their tacos are great, very authentic Mexican street food-style. Casual. Limited seating; mostly takeout.
Not strictly Gluten-Free because they have wheat-based flour tortillas or bread for burritos and tortas. So, dicey for celiacs.
Vegetarians should be fine, vegans OK with rice, beans, and tortillas. They can do veggie tacos and tortillas, just like in Mexico, except, there, every is Taco Tuesday.“

“I had the pleasure of performing a book signing at this welcoming Caribbean Restaurant & Bakery this past weekend. I was blown away by the artistic wall murals, the outdoor decorations and seating opportunities, the inflow of people of diverse backgrounds that came to satisfy their palette with the mouth-watering taste of Caribbean cuisine and tantalizing delicacies. I applaud Chef Ann and her Team for an outstanding job of keeping the Caribbean culture alive in this very quaint section of Oakland California.“

“First visit, weeknight, not crowded. Food very good to excellent. Beet trio appetizer superb. Not clear if the 3 dipping sauces were for beets or brisket but good either way. Fiancee had wagyu burger, excellent. I had the combo plate…brisket a tad dry, fried chicken very good, corn bread muffin & cole slaw great. Extensive wine list, top labels. We shared a flight and each had a glass of bubbly. Portion size good … I had leftovers for breakfast. Server Jeff casual but on the ball with advice. Menu somewhat limited, especially for vegans.“

“I have both the experience of working along side Urban Organics at many events as a vendor but also, Brittany is the one I hire when I'm entertaining. Her food is beautiful, vibrant, fresh and so good that I wish sometimes she had a restaurant too! I hired them for my daughter & son in law's anniversary party and her staff treated us like royalty! I couldn't be more impressed and it was worth every penny!“
