Staff always attentive and in particular a member of staff who came to my son who had made his confirmation, had a chat with him, went away and came back with a selection of desserts for him to take home. We spoke to a gentleman about the last minute issue and he was more than willing to accommodate us to get an order out on a 48 hour notice - I am so so so grateful

So we ordered a greek salad with feta which arrived very fresh and it was delicious!! We had a charcuterie type tray along with the 3-cheese pasta. We also had a tray of garlic bread which we forgot to get a picture of. Our team really enjoyed the food and we are definitely going to add this caterer for future orders. Domenic did an amazing job preparing the dinner for us. He told us about each item as he brought it out, all the unique ingredients, and even paired wine with the meal. The only place we order food for New Year's celebration, became a family tradition. “Real, honest BBQ. I had the 2 meat combo with brisket, ribs, mac & cheese and potato salad. Best BBQ I have had since I was in Austin Texas! The owner was working hard with the rest of his employees and was the one to take my order. He seemed very nice and was helpful. I work within walking distance so I can see myself becoming a regular here. Canyons is an excellent addition to Castro Valley's food scene.“

First off the food is top notch it’s so delicious and creative. There has not been a meal that has not been amazing. Mary herself is an amazing top notch person who goes the extra mile to alter the menu to your needs. She offers so many options to help cater to her customers. Fiancee had wagyu burger, excellent. I had the combo plate…brisket a tad dry, fried chicken very good, corn bread muffin & cole slaw great. Extensive wine list, top labels. We shared a flight and each had a glass of bubbly. Portion size good … I had leftovers for breakfast. Server Jeff casual but on the ball with advice. Menu somewhat limited, especially for vegans.“

“This place was the single redeeming thing in the area. I got stuck in this commercial cesspool for four and a half hours and wandered around for 3 of them trying to find decent food worth the price or some store that wasn't marked up for garbage. No dice. Finally found this place tucked away, so thankful. Had a couple drinks and chatted with old locals. Definitely support this place. In general I'll be avoiding the area but if I ever find myself there again I'll definitely go in for a drink and to get a brake from the depressing retail area outside.“
