“We were so delighted to enjoy a stunning array of catered desserts for my husband’s birthday. Our friends could not stop raving about the Apple Tatin, Tarte aux Pommes, Tarte aux Citron merengue, Chocolate Lava mini desserts, &assorted mini-Mousses. My husband was deeply impressed at the amount of labor involved in creating the fabulous display.Fleur & Joseph were even so thoughtful as to include complimentary tasty Macaroons plus a Mylar Birthday balloon!“

Fiancee had wagyu burger, excellent. I had the combo plate…brisket a tad dry, fried chicken very good, corn bread muffin & cole slaw great. Extensive wine list, top labels. We shared a flight and each had a glass of bubbly. Portion size good … I had leftovers for breakfast. Server Jeff casual but on the ball with advice. Menu somewhat limited, especially for vegans.“

“This place was the single redeeming thing in the area. I got stuck in this commercial cesspool for four and a half hours and wandered around for 3 of them trying to find decent food worth the price or some store that wasn't marked up for garbage. No dice. Finally found this place tucked away, so thankful. Had a couple drinks and chatted with old locals. Definitely support this place. In general I'll be avoiding the area but if I ever find myself there again I'll definitely go in for a drink and to get a brake from the depressing retail area outside.“

They set up the trays nicely when delivered and even provide name cards for each dish. I will be using them again for my mom's upcoming 70th.“

“Crumble & Whisk was amazing to work with and has DELICIOUS and AMAZING cheesecakes!!! ORDER FROM THEM NOW! I live in Florida and my best friend lives in Oakland, California. Every year I buy him a cheesecake for his birthday since we've known each other. The owner/chef Charles Farrier was amazing to work with and super accomodating! I was able to order and get the Cheesecake delivered to my friend as a surprise for his Birthday. I called several places in Oakland, California and the surrounding area trying to get him a cheesecake for his birthday and Charles was the only one willing to make it happen. My best friend was so surprised by it. My friend was so surprised by how big thick and heavy the cheesecake was. He said it was one of the most creamiest, thick, and mouth watering cheesecake he has ever tasted before. And I have bought him a cheesecake for years from many different places. I can't wait to go visit him in California to try one of Charles cheesecakes. I will be ordering him cheesecake from Charles and Crumble & Whisk exclusively moving forward! “Hiroshi Catering was fantastic. We had a last minute celebration of life and we had the very best experience. The professionalism and taste of food was so above and beyond, we were totally floored. The Katsu chicken sandwiches, fresh sushi, gyoza and so much more were top notch. The whole house was 1/2 Japanese or more, and the traditional flavors were just perfect.“

“Excellent local butcher shop and deli. BBQ sauce is also very good. The ball tip sandwich is the most popular sandwich on the menu. I would personally recommend the sweet potato fries because their sauce is delicious. The meat is always top notch. Kinders is very well known around here. The only downside I would say is that it is not cheap. It is hard to find a sandwich under $10 on the menu. Definitely worth trying if you are driving through!“

“I got to try this last night at the Todos Santos Plaza festival in Concord and the two meat plate with beans and potato salad was absolutely delicious! We got hot links and brisket as our meats and got it spicy and found the spice level to be completely tolerable. Mr. Willy himself was kind enough to let me sample his mac and cheese and was receptive to my feedback (which he solicited!) Once we got to talking we traded some ideas. Owner was super friendly and easy to talk to. I can tell he's very proud of the menu. The place was nothing fancy, but a friendly atmosphere. Looked like some wear and tear but nothing bad. Would go again if I go back to town. Ask the owner about his love for artichokes and the artichoke dipping sauce.
