“Real, honest BBQ. I had the 2 meat combo with brisket, ribs, mac & cheese and potato salad. Best BBQ I have had since I was in Austin Texas! The owner was working hard with the rest of his employees and was the one to take my order. He seemed very nice and was helpful. I work within walking distance so I can see myself becoming a regular here. Canyons is an excellent addition to Castro Valley's food scene.“

The only place we order food for New Year's celebration, became a family tradition. Was sad to see original owners sold this store but happy to report that new owner not only continues delivering phenomenal food items but invested to make store larger, more open, more attractive. “First of all I must say that Tavion did an incredible job helping me prepare a specific menu for our vegetarian diet and then he went even more in depth to come up with individual dishes from different countries we have visited. Domenic did an amazing job preparing the dinner for us. He told us about each item as he brought it out, all the unique ingredients, and even paired wine with the meal.
