I kept hearing about this place and so glad I finally got the chance to check it out! We came around noon on a Sunday and though it was moderately busy (estimated wait time 20 min), they took my number and I got a notification that a table was available within 10 minutes!They have a lot of outdoor tables- some traditional square ones and other smaller circular ones with stools (harder to eat on with two people, but we managed.) Best place to get breakfast or brunch in the area for me. The chai and the hot chocolate are delicious. The Mexican scramble is terrific, as is the California breakfast. We tried the key lime pie when we were there, which was refreshing and zingy and everything a key lime should be.And that's not even mentioning the location and the inside of the restaurant! -- the decor is a ton of fun, with a huge hanging slice of pie and posters. Visited pre-Covid, but wanted to share an awesome experience I had at Bette's! We had one of their breakfast platters and their signature pancakes, and both were delicious! We especially loved how the pancake wasn't too sweet, so it's great if you're sensitive to sweet things. Would definitely visit again!
