“I can't really call this place a hidden gem in the mission but for what it's worth, the ratings do justice to how great the food is. The cuisine and flavors and unpredictable and interesting. The ambiance is jovial, inviting, not fancy but bustling. Service is knowledge and has good insight into menu and secret menu. My favorite dishes were the mole, tacos (minus the fish one), and the churro with coconut ice cream. Highly recommend this spot, the mole is incredible! Prices are also reasonable for this type of culinary experience. Presentation of the dishes is innovative and pleasant on the eye. Daily happy hour from 4-6 is also a hit.“

“For my money, this is the best mole I've had! I had the mole enchiladas with chicken. Definitely a go to spot for me.They also had an AMAZING Cucumber Lime Chia drink. Super refreshing and you know, chia!Service was quick and attentive. Can't wait for my next visit.“
“Siska is a truly amazing chef, who gives her all to her food and you can taste the quality of cooking and love in every bite. She knows how to feed large groups of people in any condition you throw at her, and you can always be sure the food will be delicious!“

“Cuisine of Nepal is definitely one of the best restaurants in SF hands down. The Chicken Cashew Cream Curry is to die for. You can taste the harmony of spices and love that is poured into it. The owner, Prem, is one of the best human beings you will ever encounter. He truly shows you a level of hospitality that you would only expect from an old friend. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and can wholeheartedly recommend it 100%. 10/10.“
“First, their espresso and matcha drinks are fantastic. Second, the humans that operate Hedge are down-to-earth, thoughtful, kind, and friendly. And that feeling permeates through everything from the quirky-yet-cozy outdoor seating, to the way they take care of you when you visit. They're authentic people and they genuinely want you to enjoy your beverage and your visit -- and they're great at helping you do both! A lovely place to be, even if only for the time it takes to say hey and pickup a cup of Joe. Shout-outs to Olga, Alex, Kyle, Wei Ling, Billy, and the friends I haven't yet met! P.S. Delicious pastries too!!“
“Chef Emily hosted a team offsite and taught us how to make laksa. Our team had a broad range of experience, from people experienced in making Asian food to those whose most advanced cooking experience was using a microwave - in spite of this, she made it fun and engaging for everyone! It was super informative on Singaporean cuisine and culture, as well as what it’s like working in and being an owner in the food industry. Thanks again for an amazing experience! (and sorry we only took awful photos lol)“

“The small shop offers a large selection of foods in the menu with interesting Mexican drinks on the shelf. The host is very friendly. I ordered a Latin bowl, and it is tasty, healthy in a big portion. Will certainly come back to try other items.“
“Creperie Saint Germain had served crepes for us at our company and it was such a success. They had a lot of options for me which is not usually the case since I have gluten-free restricted diet. Their crepes are awesome, the crepe bar was a great idea to have in the office. And the holiday theme was looking awesome.“

“That fire hydrant was spitting out sticky goo like a Kardashian on a Saturday night, not a pleasant sight, and I'm not walking past it!Let's cross the street here and go up to Calabria Brothers Deli and grab a sando we can take to the park, she said. When it's Calabria Brothers...I'm all in, they put out some Amazing food. The sandwiches are about the best in the city. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Late post from a few weeks ago. Funny enough, even though this place is called the Ravioli House I always find myself ordering a sandwich from there. The pastrami sandwiches are really good and the bread they use is good as well. Sourdough is my ideal match for pastrami but from time to time I'll enjoy the dutch crunch as well. If you want a satisfying sandwich for lunch. I highly recommend this place. Staff is always friendly as well.“
“I had a farewell party here, renting out the space and eating delicious crepes. Laetitia was incredibly accommodating, and everyone had a great time (several people stopped by the next day to tell me it was one of their favorite events.) Very highly recommended!“

“Hidden amidst the corporate park at Gateway is a hidden gem known as Esposto's. Conveniently located in an easily accessible place for corporate workers and near lots of accessible parking makes for a great lunch spot during work hours. Many workers in my office come here for a quick lunch, and there's a reason that people come back so often. The prices are very worth the serving size, and the quality of food is always very fresh! There is inside and outside seating (inside has very nice ambience, and it's pretty quiet outside). My go-to is the Bacon Cheeseburger or the Wedgie Salad with Flank Steak. Their sandwiches are all very nice too!“

“Crab Salad Sandwiches are my favorite and Darbys is solid! Hefty on the fillings and flavor is definitely top 3. On this particular visit I asked if the sandwich could be toasted and I was shown the crab melt sandwich as the option. Next time will maybe give that a try but not sure that’s exactly what I was looking for so I rolled with it as usual, everything on it except jalapeños.Parking: Parking is usually available on n the lot or even the street if they are busy.Kid-friendliness: They can do basic sandwichesWheelchair accessibility: Accessible and welcomed“
“We hosted a holiday party for 325 people and hired Esposto's to cater the buffet dinner as well as provide tables and linens. They absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the beginning communications to the culmination of a spectacular event, the entire team was amazing to work with. The Esposto's team was wonderful to work with, so responsive and so organized. I am so grateful! The catering team who came to support our event the night of was nothing short of amazing. They were on top of everything working like a well oiled machine. The food was absolutely spectacular and plentiful! I would highly recommend them for your catering needs. We will definitely be using them again!“
“These guys don't charge nearly enough - the service and amount of delicious food they served far exceeded what we paid them to cater our 200 person wedding. If you want an amazing team to serve up unbelievable tacos, and an incredible variety of salsas/toppings/garnishes, and compostable utensils to boot - reach out to Bay Area Taco Catering and book ASAP. If you want a killer party where your friends keep raving (and for a really reasonable price) - reach out to them ASAP. The food is hands down the most complex part of an event, and Bay Area Taco Catering breezed in, executed seamlessly, and cleaned up everything! We had so many great stories of friends and family meeting in line :) I am so, so, so happy to have picked this brilliant team to have such a huge role in our big day, and cannot recommend enough.“

“The best sandwiches in South San Francisco: Little Lucca! This place is usually packed with a line out the door, but we decided to shoot our shot since it was raining and hoped there wouldn't be a line and luckily it wasn't that long! Everything is made to order in front of you and you can add what you'd like. They have a garlic and hot pepper sauce which are sooo good and a must get. They definitely don't skimp on the add ins and both our sandwiches came out packed and HUGE! We were able to save and eat the other half for dinner haha It's a really nice place to grab a sandwich and maybe head over to the beach or somewhere nice to enjoy. We ended up taking it home and decided to toast it a bit and it was perfection. Next time you're in South San Francisco and looking for a sandwich, come check out Little Lucca! Everyone was so nice and patient even with a rush.“
“We booked our event with Fork & Spoon at a relatively late date so there was a bit of urgency, and they were fantastic. Super nice, responsive, and easy to work with. The food was delicious and the service they provided was stellar. Highly recommended!“
“Great catering service, From the cooks to the drivers along with the office staff who makes it happen. The food is delicious. Whenever I use Standfield catering,I get many compliments on their food from folks. You can't beat the portions they give you. The staff is great to work with and very patient. Always on time. Food presentation is awesome. I highly recommend them for any catering needs. I can't say enough.“
“The Swedish candy is overpriced, but the service and staff are so helpful. All of the candy are in little jars and the workers scoop some in a plastic clear bag for you. Just remember that Swedish candy is a TikTok trend so the place will be busy, when I went they were all in stock. Try the bubs“

“Really nice and small cafe shop in an office building. Run by an older Asian couple who are extremely friendly and basically feel like family. The food is all handmade fresh and relatively cheap. I always go for breakfast or the amazingly priced quality burger. I think it’s the cheeseburger that’s under 7$.They have lots of other stuff like gum cough drops, ice cream fridge and a big drink fridge.Highly suggest checking it out if you work nearby, it’s out of the way though so maybe this review is for those who are in the surrounding buildings.Parking: Can park on the opposite side lot. Or street parking across.Kid-friendliness: Nice to all ages. Lots of treats.Wheelchair accessibility: From sidewalk you can get in easily.“

“I've come here many times over the 17 years I've lived in SF, and the food is always delicious. This review is especially for their dessert, a dessert I never tried before, called the muhalabiye. It is like a delicious rose flavored pudding, with fresh whipped cream. Decadent and delicious. The coffee I had paired perfectly with this treat. La Mediterranee has always been lovely and has an adorable ambiance. I am so happy it is still around!“
“GGC recently catered two events for me. One with 150 guests and one with 410 guests. Both events were perfect! Everyone was blown away by the food and left full and happy. Leading up to the event, the staff was super quick to respond, very accommodating and a delight to work with. I will be using them again in the future for sure. Shout out to Kelly and Amanda for all their support!“
“Great service, view, and ambiance. It has a bar and dining room to fit 100 comfortably. The hors d'oeuvres and desert were good. The dinner was served youself food trays which I'm not a fan. It's like a fancy cafeteria for me. There is plenty of parking.“

“The Best PASTRAMI!! Could not believe how juicy and tasty it was. From a low of 1 to a high of 10, it just breaks the ceiling at a score of 11. I was happy to see a lot of choices for drinks. Make sure you save space for the Baked Pudding. Excellent service from our server, Oliver! It was my first time and he gave the right recommendations. Fast and friendly service too. He would often pass by to check on us. And my group was a bit demanding by asking for napkins, then spoons. Thank you. I give it 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“We provided BentoSprout bentos for our guests at our wedding in Mill Valley and our families and friends LOVED their bentos (of course we did too bc we chose it duh lol)!!! TLDR: if you’re looking for delicious, balanced, beautiful, healthy, authentic bento boxes for your event (wedding, birthday, other celebration, office gathering, etc) AND want to support business that is Japanese-woman owned, we highly recommend BentoSprout! If you want to make the bento boxes fit a more formal setting, you can have it in wooden boxes that are compostable and also add a furoshiki cloth (locally and support an AAPI-owned business if you can) for a very reasonable additional cost. They look so nice while being minimalist. It was the perfect amount of food for a wedding for everyone and for those with a bigger appetite, it would be totally more than enough with a few appetizers. My husband is Japanese and it was so important for us to reflect his culture in the food we offered at our wedding and it needed to be delicious and perfect, which Mireille’s bentos were. His family have very high standards for food and they enjoyed their bentos wholeheartedly and were emphatic about how skillful she must be for the dishes in the bentos to have come out as perfectly as they did. Her bentos are beautiful and so thoughtful, as well as balanced, and above all so incredibly tasty. We had a tasting for her bentos and we were so impressed then, and hard to believe but it was even better on the day of our wedding!Mireille is so easy to work with and extremely communicative and accommodating. We had a number of guests with dietary restrictions and preferences and she was so careful and meticulous in ensuring that she understood them perfectly and then prepared them without issue and our guests really enjoyed their meals.Mireille, thank you so much for making our day extra special with the love and care you put into your bentos and food. Thank you for all the emails you exchanged with us and double checking, as well as the thoughtful and generous touch you did for our bentos given our budget. It made us so happy to see how much our families and friends enjoyed our food, and we of course loved our own meals that day thoroughly!Photo credit: Photography by Vee“
“The best taco in the Potrero Hill + Mission Bay neighborhood. The quality of the meats and salsas are outstanding - much better than some nearby restaurants, despite being a food truck. They put a lot of effort into picking a really nice spice blend, and the meats are grilled to a nice crispy texture. I recommend getting a sampler of several different tacos, as each meat is cooked in a slightly different way, yet all are very good. If you are more hungry, I recommend the pastor super burrito, which was the the best pastor burrito I've ever had.The prices are rather cheap for San Francisco. The asada super burrito, which contains avocado and comes with chips+ salsa, only costs $12. However, most competitors charge at least $14 for the same thing (including Chipotle which charges $15.35). This may sound weird, but I hope they can become popular enough to raise their prices. They deserve it.My main criticism is that the cochinita and poc-chuc tacos are a bit more expensive than the standard asada/pollo/pastor tacos, but I don't think that they taste significantly better than the rest. Also, I do wish they came to Potrero Hill more frequently, but I understand they need to serve other parts of the city as well. For comparison, the main competitors in the neighborhood are El Toyonase (which has an outstanding tripe burrito, but nothing else noteworthy), Street Taco (which also has an outstanding "meat only" street burrito, despite having lower quality meat), and Senior Sisig/Los Kuyas (which both have a unique fusion flavor, but are a bit too greasy and not as "fresh" tasting).“
“I used to work at the Hunters Point Brewery when I first learned of Vasquez Coffee and I fell in love! The coffee was so delicious I could drink it black. I was even more thrilled to find out that the roaster is a Latina woman from the Mission. Now we are partnering and serving her amazing coffee in our new cafe - One Love!“
“What a cute lil spot! These empanadas are delish, and creative - I loved the imprint of "Venga" on each of them. I got the Sweet Corn, snd the Argentine Beef empanadas. The chimichurri style dip was great with the sweet corn, while the Chipotle dip was great with the beef. The guy running the shop was very nice, and suggested the pairing for the dips to each empanada. Stop by here for a quick bite, or pick up an assortment of these delightful empanadas.“

“WHEN: wednesday ~ August 30, 2023 Ordered through postmates so review is not reflective of in person dining. Got the chicken shawarma plate that comes with spiced rice, chicken shawarma, roasted/pickled veggies, and a yellow sauce. The size of bowl is quite big. The meat is tender and flavorful. I especially liked the rice. It's pretty oily though. The yellow sauce was a pass for me, but the dish was really flavorful on its own. Saw some reviews saying the falafel was good so I would try that next time!“

“Binka Bites offers delicious little binkies, cupcake versions of the classic Filipino dessert bibingka which is a baked sweet rice cake with coconut milk. They have other pastries as well including mochi donuts and some savory items, plus a drink menu. Pulled up on a Thursday afternoon to purchase some desserts. It was my first time at this location and I was surprised that it was just an order window. Some items were sold out including the classic binka bite and savories. I ordered the guava and ube mochi donuts, as well as the following binkies: ube macapuno (coconut), ube flan, mango, churro and oreo. The donuts were so soft and tasty. The binka bites were delicious as well. I didn't try them all but highly recommend the ube flan!“
“Arie, the gentleman who took my call, was so kind and extremely helpful. I had a last-minute request from a client that they were visiting and I scrambled to find Kosher food for 20 guests. Not only was he supremely warm and helpful, but took the time to understand my needs and offered thoughtful suggestions. I HIGHLY recommend Dina's Kosher catering for your Kosher needs. Not only are you getting very high quality food, but I cannot overstate the amazing and compassionate service that I received in my hour of need. Why go anywhere else when you can have it all here and feel good working with Dina's Catering.“
“Yummy food and a welcoming staff. I enjoy coming here with my son. I especially like the beef and curry chicken patties. The staff is very warm, the music is nice, and the hot food feels good to eat on a cold afternoon.I know Peaches is a lunch spot, but I wish they would open earlier so I can have these for breakfast before work too.“
“Had a very positive experience with Bi-Rite catering! Not only did they deliver right on time, but they had so many delicious food items to choose from. The best thing is that they help the community! I work for a non-profit in San Francisco and they were able to donate for our hard working volunteers. We are very thankful and plan to keep ordering from them in the future.“
“Hidden takeout spot inside a spacious Dogpatch building. Loved the larb tofu, the flavors, the crispiness. The broccoli was okay, a bit bitter, almost as if the seasoning was slightly burnt. The curry was very oily, but very delicious. Portions are on the small side, but the low prices reflect that. The person we picked up the food from was very friendly. The menu is limited, but if you're looking for some simple Thai food and flavors, some is better than nothing!“
“Alicia was our main contact in organizing a corporate event. Pedro was our caterer for the day of the event, and he was THE BEST! Kind, willing to help, with great attention to detail. Food was delicious, the whole team kept commenting on how tasty it was. Highly recommend, thank you so much!“

“Picky eater here but Turo's food is YUM. Staff are always kind and friendly. We live a little far from their location so we always make it a point to pass by and pick up some food if we happen to be in the area.
