They have a monopoly on that drinkable mochi topping (other places have tried but the texture is never as good). I am obsessed with their winter seasonal special that I hope never goes away - the purple sticky rice and mochi combo milk tea. So so so good. Excited to them to open in San Mateo as well to fill that void between Palo Alto and Burlingame. So good, such good price performance. Love!“

It is a cute little spot, perfect for quick pickups. There is not much space to sit, but it totally works if you just want to grab your drink and go. Everything felt freshly made and not overly sugary like some other places. You can tell they put effort into getting the flavor right.

I usually order from here when I am craving for a quality refreshing drink, since the ingredients they use here are premium and authentic. I believe everything here is made or order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. “After seeing Ivonnie S.' popcorn chicken photos, I needed to come to Foam Tea House. Their popcorn chicken bento box w/milk tea $16 was indeed good. I liked how there's basil in the popcorn chicken and came with a little thing of spicy Taiwanese powder. The egg rolls were the Costco type, not that there's anything wrong with that. For Taiwanese bentos, I would have preferred a traditional pickled egg or vegetables instead. Food came out quick. Background: This location used to be a bakery for a long time. Rolling Out Bakery used to have some good croissants, egg tarts and kouign amanns. The nerd card store Versus Games is still here. The card shop was packed full of people playing card games like Pokemon or Magic taking up all the parking.“

“So I was in the mood for a drink so I thought I'd try their banana milk. Had heard of banana milk but never had it. I would have been content with just a regular milk that tastes like banana but I was pleasantly surprised that this was much better. It felt handcrafted, the banana milk texture was just slightly thicker than plain milk which was enjoyable. The taste was so perfect i dont even know how to compliment it. It was just the pure essence of banana without any bitterness, but still retaining that slight earthiness and im pretty sure it was made of real banana, there was no artificial syrup flavor etc. It was really really good and I'd definitely go back just for this one item even.“

“Tpumps is a great place to get boba at a decent price. Not too long ago, they raised their prices by 50 cents, which is disappointing but understandable. My go-to at Tpumps is the blackberry peach black tea with boba, and it always hits the spot. The pearl-tea ratio isn't the best, but the drink is still very worth it. I can appreciate the amount of customization this boba place offers, from the long list of flavors, to the many topping choices, to the amounts of sweetness and ice you can request, to the option to add milk. That's what makes it different from the rest. The staff at Burlingame are particularly excellent. A customer once mistook my order for their own and left, and the employees quickly noticed and remade my drink. Overall, a fine boba place, 4/5.“

My always choice is of course #6 grilled pork with well-seasoned meat and abundantly fresh veggies. #3 combination is also a should-try . It is what I believe the most traditional one. “Tried Grapeholic and it’s a nice change from typical boba spots. Their grape drinks are super refreshing with real fruit flavor, and the cheese foam pairs surprisingly well.

The presentation is great and the vibe is modern, but prices are a bit high and drinks can be on the sweeter side.

They definitely back off the ice if requested, sweetness is slightly high (their 50% is closer to my palate's 70%), and I appreciate the option to choose between green or black teas. “I have been here many times, mainly when I am in the area where I am in need of a thirst quencher. I believe this has just existed in the most recent years, which is a plus because there are not many boba shops within the area. The interior is fairly new and the place is clean. They offer traditional milk teas, fruit teas, slushies, specialty drinks, hot drinks, unique drinks and much more. Everyone made to order which is just the way I like it and I do not mind the wait since I am a very patient person. You can order either from one of their self serve kiosks or you can order from their counter.
