Honestly, one of the few tea/coffee shops in the area that feel like you could sit for a while and no one would care. My NY Resolution is to try a new boba shop every two weeks, so I feel like I'm becoming a tapioca pearl expert. These were really good! Perfect QQ.“

They pride themselves on fresh ingredients that are house made. Not sure if this extends to their toppings, but I've appreciated their fruit drinks in the past.

On the more expensive side for boba and they do provide quality cups and the option between plastic and bamboo straws.“

“Amazing tea with great variety! Accidentally stumbled across this place, have returned since, and am never disappointed! The milk tea boba is great, but the Super Fruit green tea with passion fruit popping boba is next level. The fresh fruit slices mixed in with the tea are a refreshing surprise and the fruit is always ripe and delicious. I tried the grapefruit fruit tea today as well which hit the spot! “This bubble tea spot was such a vibe. I got the brown sugar boba and it was honestly perfection. The drink was creamy, smooth, and perfectly sweet. The boba pearls were soft and chewy just the way I like them. The tea and milk ratio was spot on, and every sip tasted super fresh and balanced.
It is a cute little spot, perfect for quick pickups. There is not much space to sit, but it totally works if you just want to grab your drink and go. Everything felt freshly made and not overly sugary like some other places. You can tell they put effort into getting the flavor right.
I finished my drink way too fast because it was that good. Definitely one of the best brown sugar bobas I have had in a while. I am for sure coming back again.“

I usually order from here when I am craving for a quality refreshing drink, since the ingredients they use here are premium and authentic. I believe everything here is made or order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. “Always one of my favorite stops if I’m already going for a walk around downtown San Mateo. They’re more well known for their grass jelly (no surprise given the name), but their regular milk teas are also very good as well! I usually go for their orange carmella milk teas, but the snowy tops are also a good treat, especially on a warm day.“

“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. “Very busy store even at night time. I finally stopped by to order after couple months since it opened eve though I pass by it so often. It is just because most of the drink have milk and I don't like tea with milk.
The store is small with 2 touch screen ordering kiosk but it was not organized nicely as I can see people just cut the line when ordering even though they came after us.
Ordering is simple as the menu is clear. As it was very busy, it took a while for the order to be ready.
The pistachio white Champacca coconut was good. This one has no dairy.“

“Tpumps is a great place to get boba at a decent price. Not too long ago, they raised their prices by 50 cents, which is disappointing but understandable. My go-to at Tpumps is the blackberry peach black tea with boba, and it always hits the spot. The pearl-tea ratio isn't the best, but the drink is still very worth it. I can appreciate the amount of customization this boba place offers, from the long list of flavors, to the many topping choices, to the amounts of sweetness and ice you can request, to the option to add milk. That's what makes it different from the rest. The staff at Burlingame are particularly excellent. A customer once mistook my order for their own and left, and the employees quickly noticed and remade my drink. Overall, a fine boba place, 4/5.“

The owner is so lovely and friendly. They also have an awesome rewards program. I know this will become your favorite boba shop!“

“Tried Grapeholic and it’s a nice change from typical boba spots. Their grape drinks are super refreshing with real fruit flavor, and the cheese foam pairs surprisingly well.

The presentation is great and the vibe is modern, but prices are a bit high and drinks can be on the sweeter side.

“Stopped by Little Late Bird on a weekday at 11am. It's a comfortable cafe serving Korean staples. The Ube Latte was like tropical Hawaii in a cup with coconut hints. The vegetable Japchae had perfectly chewy noodles and just enough sauce and veggies. The Bulgogi sandwich was amazing: toasted roll, perfectly cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, and spicy pickled jalapeños for contrast. Everything was filling but not heavy. They're also open on weekends 9am-4pm, so it's officially entering our brunch rotation!“

“My first time at TP TEA. I got a lemon black tea with boba. It seemed to have real lemon bits inside. The drink size was large. My sister and mother both complained that the tea was too strong, too bitter. My drink was kind of bitter, too, but it was mostly because of the lemon rather than the tea. I didn’t focus on it much, I enjoyed my drink. I ordered it at 50% sweetness, but it still tasted more sweet. The boba pearls were also oddly small, I swallowed a few on accident.

Overall, would I come to TP TEA again? Most certainly yes. Would I choose it over the other boba stores that I go to regularly? No. But I had a good time. 4/5.“

“4.5/5 overall! The Boba is so yumm here. Tastes different than the typical honey boba elsewhere. Their hot tea is nicely frothed instead of just microwaved in other tea shops. We love seeing their machine making boba.
One feedback: The toilet is often dirty or have no toilet paper. Something they need to visit every 2-4 hours to keep it clean and stocked. The owner is very sweet and attentive. ,decent cafe to hangout while sipping delicious tea, definitely recommended!“

“I came here with my friend and oh my gosh I absolutely love this place! We got the strawberry matcha and combo with popcorn chicken and fries. The fries were so crispy yet so soft in the inside while the chicken was so crispy juicy and tender! We will definitely come back soon!“

Ordered snack combo and came back to get their tofu snack, freshly fried soft tofu so it’s piping hot and good with some sauces

Not to mention the employee here are very nice, the lady working the cashier kept offering if there’s anything else I needed when I eat in the store but had to bring some leftover to go with a Togo bag, even opening the bag and tried to bag it for me. “The best boba tea on Uni Ave bar none. Their creme brulee tea is so good with a smooth sweet vanilla taste. With very low sugar levels and light ice, it's the perfect bang for your buck. Other highlights are the mango coconut drink and even the fruit teas. Honey boba also quite tasty.“

“I go here all the time- since I go to the middle school down the road it’s very convenient. I ALWAYS get this drink- Strawberry lemonade, normal sweetness, no/less ice, 2x lychee jelly, 1x mango jelly. It’s always so good every time! The tofu cubes are not good but I don’t like tofu in general so that’s just me. It doesn’t take too long- but really depends on how busy it is. The staff is nice but doesn’t talk much. The atmosphere is nice too! I love the vibes of this place. I don’t get tapioca boba but the lychee and mango jelly is so good, especially if you love jello or stuff like that. It’s chewy but not too chewy, and very sweet. I recommend if you like fruity/sweet drinks.“

“My favorite & go to hotpot!! The meat options are amazing, especially the recommended beef (三筋). They also offer different combos thats reasonably priced with variety of food. It’s perfect for dining by yourself or with a group! My favorite soup broth bases are the tomato one and the spicy one! The beef skewer is also amazing.“

“I had the barley tea with aiyu jelly at 30% sugar, and it was so good. The wait time made my expectations pretty high, but it still exceeded them.
Just one small thing, I might have missed it, but it would be nice if there were thicker straws available for the jelly.“

“The tea here is not my personal favorite because their menu is limited; however they're the only Teaspoon that serves shave ice which is 10/10. The ice block is flavored before shaving so the taste is consistent and it's similar to Taiwanese shave ice (like Snowflake if you remember that). We had the milk tea flavored one and it was really good. We also like the texture of the boba. The staff is super friendly, the store is clean, and it's overall worth trying out.“

“Sweet moment is some of the best desert I've had.
First of all, I LOVE their snowflake series and egg puff. Everything there is so amazing, and everything comes so quickly. Like the name says, it's sweet, and wonderful. The drinks are also so good, and I love the handmade momoko ball and grass jelly toppings. Something else so good about it is that there are so many other good places around it, which means you can get a good lunch and then come right to it. There is also a movie theatre, (Cinemark), quite close to it. It is a little far from my house, but it's definitely worth coming. It fills me up all the time, and is totally my type of desert. At the time of this review there is a little leak in the roof, but that's fine and they've got that under control. There is no doubt that this is one of my favorite places, and it deserves more than five stars.“

“One of my favorite bubble tea spots in the area! Since I live nearby, I'm a regular here—and I’ve pretty much tasted most of the menu, including their snacks.

Some of my personal favorites are the Vietnamese coffee, amber ice, peach with crema, white crystal with agar, honeydew, and their flavored teas. They offer drinks both hot and cold, and everything can be customized to your taste. I especially love that you can even split the cup into halves—super convenient!

Don’t miss the popcorn chicken—it's a must-try snack!
