“Sunright is one of the better Boba spots in the Bay Area and it's definitely a must visit.

The quality seems to be consistent with their different locations.

I've had the opportunity to try most things on the menu but my favorite is the grape frosty, which unfortunately seems to be a seasonal item.

The menu is extensive enough to where there should be something for everyone as there are your more traditional choices, as well as, some fusion (East meets West), creative new drinks.

Sunright uses high quality ingredients, many of which are locally sourced in California. And yes, you can absolutely tell the difference! This is also because they don't cut corners and costs during the prep.

The staff is always on top of things and even when there are long lines, they always work diligently and quickly while maintaining the high quality standard.

The location itself is small, narrow, and it's pretty much a grab and go at the moment but the decor matches the theme.

If you haven't heard of Sunright, definitely give it a go and you'll be pleasantly surprised.“

“The cream brûlée milk tea is delicious! However, I wanted to try something new so I tried the coconut matcha drink, at first, I was nervous, but after taking a sip I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was also very friendly. 10/10 recommend.“

“Great boba and croquettes. Strawberry+banana smoothie was perfect. Really pleasant and fine ice texture. The brown sugar boba was tasty and perfect texture. Also some of the pearls were cold enough to firm up perfectly, reminiscent of a frozen strawberry or other fruit. The croquette was cooked crispy and included katsu sauce, I think.“

“This is another Fremont location of Ume Tea, which is at Pacific Commons. The atmosphere is quite different compared to the one that’s near Newpark Mall. I actually didn’t really know about it until I walk past by it when I was getting coffee.

I really like how boba tea comes in few different sizes compared to other boba shops, which usually serves boba in taller cups. There’s not much plentiful of options here, but not every boba shop needs to have that.

This is a convenient location for me if I ever to stop by at Pacific Commons and want to get boba here.“

“I ordered original popcorn chicken (spicy) and a cookies and cream brown sugar milk tea (25% sweet) with boba. The boba was good, but the tea was still quite sweet, so will order 0% next time. The chicken was dry and chewy, so I got tired of it about halfway through and will save the rest for later.
There seemed to be only 1 staff member who was nice enough. Clean space and cute decor (very pink!), which I appreciated.“

“Ordered Hojicha Tea Latte, really liked it. Selected less ice, still felt like a lot ice in it, but I guess that's normal for the industry now. Just would be more careful when drinking it while driving, during the dark, and/or wearing light color clothes, since I think the cup cap design is a little easy to cause spill.

However, despite the 100+ degree weather outside, they didn't have the AC on, making it quite uncomfortable to sit inside for long. “Gong Cha is always a staple of mine whenever I am looking for boba and they happened to have a convenient location near shopping and some good restaurants.

Note: Gong Cha locations use a non-dairy creamer but beware, these almost always still contain whey which is a dairy derivative. It's a common misnomer so always ask for non-dairy milk if you are vegan like myself or adverse to dairy products/have an allergy.

In order to get a non-dairy drink, I was told to order from the Fresh Milk Menu. I did so with my Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Oat Milk and it was satisfying overall. It is indeed quite sweet even with 50% sugar so I'd advise to go even less if you aren't wanting a completely sweet drink.

“First time trying a drink at this location. I ordered the Mango Yogurt Smoothie w/ Mango Kanten J and it was yummy. The gentleman making the drinks was friendly and nice. I asked for the Felix’s cup sleeve and he told me “You have to buy Felix’s pick drinks to get it but I will give you one. Don’t tell anyone.” I’d come back again to try other drinks!“

“I had a great experience at Happy Lemon! While waiting for my order, I noticed a young male staff member thoughtfully washing his hands after handling money from a customer. It was such a simple gesture, but it really stood out to me and made the whole visit feel even more pleasant and hygienic. It gave me even more confidence in how they handle everything. “I ordered the House Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Crystal Boba and I forgot to ask for no sugar, but to my surprise, it wasn’t overly sweet. It had just the right amount of ice, and the brown sugar crystal boba added a nice touch without being too much. There’s parking available for pick-up orders, which makes grabbing a drink quick and easy.“

“My friends and I visited this store to chat. We ordered the bubble milk tea and the Oolong Milk tea. Our drinks arrived really quick and tasted really good. The atmosphere is perfect for work or hanging with friends. The interior is really aesthetic and there are many tables and seats available to use.“

“I have never seen a Boba shop like this. There are unique ways to tri Boba that I’ve never tried before. Hailey recommend mixing and matching each time and they also have a flavor of the day each time you go in. Physically the building is a little hidden and small, but this place is always busy.“

“When I heard about a boba shop with the word “Studio”, the black background setting came into my mind until I entered inside which is all yellowish inside. There wasn’t really much seating inside but it’s quite different because of how they’re shaped. Not much decorations though besides the action figures they displayed and they do have kiosks, but the issue is that they tend to wobble back and forth whenever I touch the screen. Also the screen faces at 90 degrees instead of facing slightly upward. So it’s hard for me to navigate through the menu especially when I’m taller.

However, I do like the boba here though. I didn’t get their signature boba but instead got the regular Ceylon Milk Tea because I’m not really a big fan of adding toppings and that it can take up too many calories. Maybe I can try it next time, but I think it’s Ceylon Milk Tea with toppings I’m probably not familiar with.“

“Food here is quite balance regardless of what you get. For example if you order a bento you get a good healthy portion of the protein, plus rice, plus the remaining half being tasty vegetables like pickles or broccoli or a salad. Price is reasonable too.“

The bunny in my drink was very cute, I almost felt bad eating it. “Skilletz apparently has its own boba shop called Tea-Rek’z. I see many people in line for Skilletz but not its boba shop and kinda expect it to be long here too when it isn’t. It may have recently opened because it didn’t exist when I went to Skilletz for the first time.

The place is very tiny though with all paper notes on the walls with all of the merch and other products stocked on the shelves that they sell. This includes ramen but you may have to ask the staff for hot water. There are only two tables though due to the size of the shop.

I decided to get one of their favorite milk tea, which is the Tiger Milk Tea without boba because of course, a single small boba can actually take up more calories and I didn’t want to consume a lot throughout the day. Honestly, the boba tastes good. It’s as good as the breakfast I had from Skilletz except that it’s boba.

Not really a bad boba shop, but honestly, it would have been better if there’s a way for them to extend the size of the shop if more customers choose to dine-in. Other than that, it’s a good place to stop by especially when you go next door to get boba after dining at Skilletz to support them more.“

They have a wide variety of drinks and toppings, as well as games and seating inside. Lately green milk teas with boba have been my go to and they really have been giving me a caffeine boost and keeping me awake when I need it. So I got their Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea with boba, less sweet with less sugar. I really enjoyed it. The workers were very kind, quick, and friendly. Nice spot to hang out with friends, I also like how they post their top drinks on the menu and the walls. My friends got some other drinks that were also really good. Something with egg pudding and red bean. Parking is super easy since it’ located within a shopping plaza.“

We had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and inviting. Not only did we get to enjoy some of the best drinks we’ve had in a long time, but we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind, hospitable, and passionate about what they do.

We tried a variety of drinks, and each one was fantastic in its own way—refreshing, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients and care. You can really tell that thought and creativity go into each recipe. Every sip left us impressed and already talking about which ones we want to try on our next visit.

“I went to Tapioca Express in Alhambra on Monday the 15th around noon. I ordered a Thai Tea, which is personally my favorite! I usually order Thai Tea ever where I go because I can't get enough. Haha, The two people that were helping me were Jo and Steve or Steven, I didn't quite hear the other employee name but it's somewhere along those lines. They were super nice! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with "Welcome to Tapioca Express!" It made me feel very welcomed, which is a feeling everybody should feel when they walk into a store. Since I always order Thai Tea, I just wanted to take a look at the menu and see what other options they had. They offered me other drinks but I had to stay with my usual. I was initially afraid that we had too many desserts for the guests; but everything was gone within minutes of Natalie setting up the dessert & boba bar!

From the beginning of the planning process, Natalie was responsive, kind, and flexible. As a wedding planner, it is so imperative that I work with vendors who are experts in their craft & get the job done, all with a smile and Natalie did just that.
