“My 10-year-old son and I visit here often, and it's become one of our favorite late-night spots. This weekend we even came on both Friday and Saturday because he loves it so much.

This weekend the guy at the register (I didn't catch his name, but he was tall) was an absolute sweetheart to my son while he was ordering for himself. He even remembered my son the second night we came. He was so kind and patient, and he made my son feel comfortable and confident. As a parent, those little interactions really stand out and mean a lot.

My son loves the brown sugar latte, mango smoothie, and wings, and the food is always consistent. I also appreciate that they're open late since I get off work later in the evening. Weekends are definitely busy, but it's easy to see why--it's a popular spot with the locals.

“Reminds me of childhood! My family has been coming to this Tapioca Express Union City location for a long time now. We love getting the milk tea, classic green milk tea, and the snow drinks. 30% sweet is perfect for me and sometimes I like to add boba (which has a nice texture). The popcorn chicken is also good (I prefer ITea's texture but I really love the flavor of the chicken here).

The service has a no frills but friendly vibe that I find genuine and I come so often that we recognize each other now! It is always pleasant to see them :)

All in all, if you're looking for a milk tea that reminds you of the 2010's taiwanese milk tea, I would highly recommend coming to this specific location!“

“I tried the mango yogurt drink at UMe Tea in Fremont and it was so good!🥭🧋 The yogurt was creamy, refreshing, and had a really nice fruity flavor without being too heavy.. I especially loved the texture and the toppings—it made the drink extra fun.

The Fremont location is also really cute, and the staff were friendly and the service was quick. Definitely a great spot when you’re craving something refreshing and different from regular milk tea. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their yogurt drinks! 💕“

“Was looking for a boba spot/something sweet after having dinner in this plaza and TeaTop was just about to close. They have a wide variety of drinks and toppings, as well as games and seating inside. Lately green milk teas with boba have been my go to and they really have been giving me a caffeine boost and keeping me awake when I need it. So I got their Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea with boba, less sweet with less sugar. I really enjoyed it. The workers were very kind, quick, and friendly. Nice spot to hang out with friends, I also like how they post their top drinks on the menu and the walls. My friends got some other drinks that were also really good. Something with egg pudding and red bean. Parking is super easy since it’ located within a shopping plaza.“

“I am a long-time regular of this particular Gong Cha location since it opened in 2023. Every time I make an order, the tea tastes as it should, and more. Do you want to know why? It's because Vincent and his team at Gong Cha Dublin ensure that their customers are given the best service, best ingredients and the best preparation in their teas. Their interior is bright and cozy, and most of the time when I come in, I see Vincent, the owner, shaking up some of tea to pour into those familiar cups you all know by now, before wiping it down to perfection.

“This is another Fremont location of Ume Tea, which is at Pacific Commons. The atmosphere is quite different compared to the one that’s near Newpark Mall. I actually didn’t really know about it until I walk past by it when I was getting coffee.

I really like how boba tea comes in few different sizes compared to other boba shops, which usually serves boba in taller cups. There’s not much plentiful of options here, but not every boba shop needs to have that.

This is a convenient location for me if I ever to stop by at Pacific Commons and want to get boba here.“

“I was charging my car in the parking lot while waiting for our table when we spotted Teaspoon's banner and decided to grab a drink.

The last time I had Teaspoon was years ago when I was in Davis, and I always ordered the Grasshopper. I decided to get the same drink this time to see if it had changed.

The Grasshopper is a lychee green tea topped with cucumber juice. It was light, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. I forgot to adjust the sweetness level, so it ended up being a bit sweeter than I would have liked.“

The drinks were a great value for the size, and so was the black sugar boba (even if it was a tad stale). We're definitely coming back for more tasty pastries.“

“After eating dinner, I decided to drive my way to Hayward to go to Sip & Savor since it’s close to where I ate at. This is quite unusual because this boba shop serves pastas since other boba places serve rice meals. Don’t know but I guess that this is supposed to be a fusion restaurant?

Inside is very quiet though, but I saw some people come in here. I also really like how they decorated part of the wall with “Sip & Savor” sign. If they covered the whole wall and even the ceiling, it would have looked like we’re in a jungle.

I didn’t get pasta, but my mom and I wanted to try their boba. It’s really good though. The Sip & Savor is slightly more expensive and it’s quite flavorful even without adding boba. Not too sweet and it’s just right.

“Skilletz apparently has its own boba shop called Tea-Rek’z. I see many people in line for Skilletz but not its boba shop and kinda expect it to be long here too when it isn’t. It may have recently opened because it didn’t exist when I went to Skilletz for the first time.

The place is very tiny though with all paper notes on the walls with all of the merch and other products stocked on the shelves that they sell. This includes ramen but you may have to ask the staff for hot water. There are only two tables though due to the size of the shop.

I decided to get one of their favorite milk tea, which is the Tiger Milk Tea without boba because of course, a single small boba can actually take up more calories and I didn’t want to consume a lot throughout the day. Honestly, the boba tastes good. It’s as good as the breakfast I had from Skilletz except that it’s boba.

Not really a bad boba shop, but honestly, it would have been better if there’s a way for them to extend the size of the shop if more customers choose to dine-in. Other than that, it’s a good place to stop by especially when you go next door to get boba after dining at Skilletz to support them more.“

“As someone who is very particular with thier Taiwanese and Hong kong cuisness, the chef at this iTea reminds me of HK with every bite. The Beef Brisket in Coconut Curry sauce is always on point, tasty beef with all the cuts.

The drinks are also made very well, especially the mango pomelo sago. Thier milk tea is also on point, bubble and boba is chewy and not clumpy.

This spot is definitely on my weekly rotation for comfort food.“
