“Eventhough there is always a line, we love going to this boba place for it's wide selection of flavors, options and toppings/boba. I think this is the only boba place in the area that has non-caffienated tea and mini popping boba that most lil kids enjoy. The service is also good despite the line.“

“I usually get this once every one or two weeks, my go to order is the boba milk tea. I have tried so many different milk teas in my life, however I have to say this one is the best. The food doesn't dissapoint either and I have ordered the food many times, its quick, and it taste really really good.“

“I've recently gotten into salted cheese drinks. It sounds disgusting, but it's really just l a sweet, slightly salty, whipped cream on top.I usually go to 85C because there's one where I live. I highly recommend their salted matcha latte.But, I was clued in that Happy Lemon is the original salted cheese beverage spot. I thought I'd check it out while I was waiting for a union meeting. I've had all of these things before, but not nearly as delicious. I did not know that bubble waffles could be so good! nor did I know how good salted cheese could be.I had the salted cheese green tea and it was light and refreshing and sweet and creamy. I involuntarily said, "OMG" when I took my first sip. It's that good. If you're into boba, I highly recommend checking out the OG spot. I have a feeling I spend a lot of my money here.“

“I love Tong Sui! Their smoothies always taste fresh and made out of real fruit (it doesn’t taste artificial)! My favorite is the strawberry cheezo. I’ve also had the avocado smoothie, and I really like it because it basically tastes like a blended avocado.

I also think their coconut deserts are great if you want a light tasting desert that’s not too sweet. This time we got the sesame coconut pudding and my boyfriend liked it.

The service is timely. There’s not usually a line when I come so I never have to wait too long and the servers are attentive in taking your order. They also have a screen kiosk right next to the order counter so you can also use the kiosk to browse the menu.

The inside is also really cute. I like their green walls with wood paneling. It feels warm and welcoming. They also have these interesting wooden bleacher sitting area in the back that I haven’t seen outside this cafe. The cafe is spacious and there is a lot of seating.

“I've been here multiple times now and drive out of my way to get boba from here. Everything I've gotten so far has been amazing, including the taro milk tea, the matcha milk tea, and the jasmine milk tea. The Thai milk tea is good but similar to any other place. The service has been quick every single time that I've been. I come here for the great quality taste and for the reliable, fast service. And it is super reasonably priced.“

“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. My friend accidentally ordered the wrong item, and staff were happy to fix it. The shop is small with few tables, but it’s very neat and clean“

“I visited Urban Ritual last summer after dinner on a Thursday. There are a lot of cool drink options, and I love the branding.

I ended up getting the creme brulee milk tea. I was surprised that the creme brulee component literally tasted like the egg custard in a creme brulee. Instead of bruleeing the top, they add torched sugar bits on top. Overall I thought this drink had a lot of layers and was interesting, but I wouldn't get it again. It didn't hit the right flavor and texture composition for me.

There are a lot of other interesting drinks here that I would love to try someday.“

“Was hunting for a new boba shop... and omg I LOVED Shuyi! Super fun and uncommon drinks. Got the coconut grass jelly milk tea and the new grape jello tea at 75%. Both were delicious! The milk tea had a strong tea flavor & lots of fun toppings. The grape jello had pieces of real grape! Would definitely get again but probably 50% sweet for the grape.“

“Great boba option in a more hidden plaza. I like to stop by when I’m charging my Tesla at the Superchargers next to it. I usually get the grapefruit or strawberry fruit tea and an order of popcorn chicken, which always comes out hot and crispy. They typically don’t have someone in the front so I opt to use the tablet to order. It works well enough.“

“I was always curious about this store because it was always crowded, so I finally visited it.
Since there was no one there, I thought there was no order in front of us, but we ordered through an app or something and went somewhere else.
I thought the price was a bit expensive... Personally, it was the most delicious bubble tea I've had anywhere, including Taiwan and all over the world (Korea). The tea that serves as the base is really delicious, and the boba (tapioca) is chewy and really delicious.
I think there's a reason it's always so busy, and I'll definitely stop by every time I'm around here!“

My favorite item is the smashed lemon black tea. It’s very refreshing.

I also like their taro milk and classic tea latte with boba.

Their tea served with cheese form on top is not recommended. Don’t like their cheese form at all“

“TeaHut in Millbrae is great for fresh, real fruit tea. The Mango Pomelo Sago is a must-try—perfectly sweet with real ingredients. The Full Cup of Strawberries & Black Grapes is refreshing, with whole, in-season grapes. Cozy spot, and parking is convenient too!“

Less good: Only one outlet to plug in computer, paper cups for drinks are unappealing, they don’t open the very nice upstairs space like the prior coffee shop did, and service usually a bit slow.“

“We went here after having lunch and was shocked when we walked inside. The interior is very modern and inviting. As soon as you walk in, there's a gaming table. It's very inviting and seems pretty chill. It's definitely a place you'd want to hang out. Service was kind of lacking. They greeted you but didn't help you when placing an order. If you order to go, they just point you to a kiosk. I saw a picture of something that I wanted to try, but no one was really trying to help. I asked someone and they had to ask someone else. And the large cup is actually large . I got jasmine tea with zero sugar and zero ice, 3 portions of red beans and 1 portion of boba“

“This is one of my favorite boba chains and this location did not disappoint. I got the Signature Milk Tea which comes with their stir fried boba and it was spot on reproducible with other locations. The ladies there were friendly and were cleaning when I came in. There was no one else there so it was quiet and they made my drink very quickly and with care. The mochi donuts looked really good but I didn't get one. The inside was clean and very cute. I will definitely be back.

Parking: I was able to find parking fairly quickly but its street parking so if it's ever busy you may have to park further away and walk over.“

“High recommend this spot! I was rly disappointed when I found out that boba guys closed down, but I’m also glad bc it helped me find this place! I was initially skeptical of Lilikoi Boba but I’m glad that I gave it chance! I tried the horchata smoothie with boba and it was really refreshing and the boba was great! The boba was freshly made and had the perfect amount of chew.

Lilikoi is now my go to boba shop in the Burlingame area. I’ve been twice now and I can confidently say that I highly recommend it! It also has a little nice sitting area in the back if you want to hang out with your friends.“

She and her coworker juggled incoming door dash orders and incoming walk in orders without hesitation and with a smile!
