“We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Tpumps in Foster City!
We ordered 50 custom drinks for our daughter's 7th birthday party, and from the very beginning, Yvonne made the entire process incredibly easy. She was patient, responsive, and helped us customize the order to make it perfect for a large group of kids and parents.
We ordered split cups with two fruit tea combinations—Watermelon Lychee with Lychee Jelly and Honey Mango Peach with Boba—and they were a huge hit! The kids absolutely loved them, the parents did too, and the split cups were such a fun idea because everyone got to try two different flavors.
Yvonne helped us customize everything, from the sweetness level and toppings to the pickup time, and every detail was handled exactly as requested. Best of all, the entire order was ready right on time, making pickup quick and effortless so we could get back to the party without any stress.
Coordinating a large order for a children's birthday party can be overwhelming, but Tpumps made it one of the easiest parts of the day. Their customer service was exceptional, the drinks were fresh and delicious, and they truly helped make our daughter's birthday extra special.

“The boba was nice! We did order via the digital screen and the option to customize sugar/ice was not offered. Or did we miss it.
We were at the place 6:30 pm on Tuesday. The only customers. The order took a loooooong time.

“First time here - my friend and I met in the area and decided to enter out of whim (we drove in 2hrs+ and Redwood is our meeting place). I had Matcha Hojicha latte and it's GOOD!! I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to adjust sweetness & ice, and dairy option available. Their drinks are crafted drinks and mine has many layered to it. I like that they used the matcha as a foam/topper. This is my new fave place. Too bad we don't have one in the area. @ Tong Sui - please open one in Livermore/Tracy/Brentwood area. This place doesn't accept cash but has online order and store pick up or use their kiosk. Tap pay or swipe are available here as well.“

“This shop is incredible. A family run business that is clean professional and fun. Bring your family or yourself for any of their amazing treats. I tried the spicy kani onigiri and it was fresh plus delicious. Great flavour in the food today. The owner made my drink a coconut milk tea and it was so wonderful. This is as good as boba tea gets. Their equipment is top notch and it's easy to support a great local business. Stop by for something you deserve soon.“

“Ume Ume Ume I love you! Arguably the best price performance boba in the bay. You can still get <$6 drinks including toppings. They have a monopoly on that drinkable mochi topping (other places have tried but the texture is never as good). I am obsessed with their winter seasonal special that I hope never goes away - the purple sticky rice and mochi combo milk tea. So so so good. Excited to them to open in San Mateo as well to fill that void between Palo Alto and Burlingame. So good, such good price performance. Love!“

“Eating lunch here right now with the family on a weekend. The service is very friendly and speedy. The space is also very clean and open. The place is kind of tucked away in office buildings but there was still a good amount of people here on a weekend. The kids loved the pond area outside to run around and look at the ducks. The food is also very good. Lots of light and heartier options. We got masubis, loco moco and bibimbop bowls along with some drinks. We’ll definitely be back especially since the kids love it here.“

I usually order from here when I am craving for a quality refreshing drink, since the ingredients they use here are premium and authentic. I believe everything here is made or order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. “Always one of my favorite stops if I’m already going for a walk around downtown San Mateo. They’re more well known for their grass jelly (no surprise given the name), but their regular milk teas are also very good as well! I usually go for their orange carmella milk teas, but the snowy tops are also a good treat, especially on a warm day.“

One thing to note is that Molly Tea doesn’t offer a wide variety of toppings. If you’re a fan of black tapioca pearls, you won’t find them here; they only have white pearls. The sweetness level is also well balanced, not overly sweet, so it’s easy to finish a whole drink without feeling overwhelmed. Honestly, one of the few tea/coffee shops in the area that feel like you could sit for a while and no one would care. We came upon this spot, I had it before at a different location and my fellow colleagues said they ordered from here before where they enjoyed it and that is when we all agreed this is the place we will order from. They have many many things to choose from, such as their top sellers, milk teas, fruit teas, matcha drinks, brown sugar drinks, cheese foam drinks, frosties, original tea, coffee, a kid’s menu, yakult series and much more to choose from. “So I was in the mood for a drink so I thought I'd try their banana milk. Had heard of banana milk but never had it. I would have been content with just a regular milk that tastes like banana but I was pleasantly surprised that this was much better. It felt handcrafted, the banana milk texture was just slightly thicker than plain milk which was enjoyable. The taste was so perfect i dont even know how to compliment it. It was just the pure essence of banana without any bitterness, but still retaining that slight earthiness and im pretty sure it was made of real banana, there was no artificial syrup flavor etc. It was really really good and I'd definitely go back just for this one item even.“

“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. “Tpumps is a great place to get boba at a decent price. Not too long ago, they raised their prices by 50 cents, which is disappointing but understandable. My go-to at Tpumps is the blackberry peach black tea with boba, and it always hits the spot. The pearl-tea ratio isn't the best, but the drink is still very worth it. I can appreciate the amount of customization this boba place offers, from the long list of flavors, to the many topping choices, to the amounts of sweetness and ice you can request, to the option to add milk. That's what makes it different from the rest. The staff at Burlingame are particularly excellent. A customer once mistook my order for their own and left, and the employees quickly noticed and remade my drink. Overall, a fine boba place, 4/5.“

Fruit teas are also made using fresh pressed fruit and the coconut mango drinks are a favorite in my family!

The chicken soup broth was healing. Lightly herbal, full of veggies. The owner is really sweet and I felt really taken cared of. There’s plenty of space - great for groups big and small.

“4.5/5 overall! The Boba is so yumm here. Tastes different than the typical honey boba elsewhere. Their hot tea is nicely frothed instead of just microwaved in other tea shops. We love seeing their machine making boba.
One feedback: The toilet is often dirty or have no toilet paper. Something they need to visit every 2-4 hours to keep it clean and stocked. The owner is very sweet and attentive. ,decent cafe to hangout while sipping delicious tea, definitely recommended!“

“My first time at TP TEA. I got a lemon black tea with boba. It seemed to have real lemon bits inside. The drink size was large. My sister and mother both complained that the tea was too strong, too bitter. My drink was kind of bitter, too, but it was mostly because of the lemon rather than the tea. I didn’t focus on it much, I enjoyed my drink. I ordered it at 50% sweetness, but it still tasted more sweet. The boba pearls were also oddly small, I swallowed a few on accident.

Overall, would I come to TP TEA again? Most certainly yes. Would I choose it over the other boba stores that I go to regularly? No. But I had a good time. 4/5.“

“I live in Tracy and was craving bubble tea, my friend said that this is her favorite place to go to and she had a membership so we decided to go after church. There was somewhat of a line but it moved very quickly, a lot of people had the same ideas as us to come in for a drink. There was maybe four people in front of us but it only took about 2 minutes for us to get to the front, these workers move extremely fast and diligently. We ordered three drinks and my friend was able to get a reward which allowed her to get one free drink which was awesome. The milk tea boba is great, but the Super Fruit green tea with passion fruit popping boba is next level. “So nostalgic coming back to t4 as it was childhood memory for people that went to the near by schools like mills or BIS, their food and drinks are still very good.

Ordered snack combo and came back to get their tofu snack, freshly fried soft tofu so it’s piping hot and good with some sauces

Not to mention the employee here are very nice, the lady working the cashier kept offering if there’s anything else I needed when I eat in the store but had to bring some leftover to go with a Togo bag, even opening the bag and tried to bag it for me.
