“this place's honey boba was surprisingly soft! as for the drink, pretty standard taste for what you pay for, but honestly the consistency of the tapioca boba blew me away. it doesn't have an oddly hard center like many other cheap-ish boba places, and for that i applaud tpumps!“

“The boba was nice! We did order via the digital screen and the option to customize sugar/ice was not offered. Or did we miss it.
We were at the place 6:30 pm on Tuesday. The only customers. The order took a loooooong time.

“Not a bad spot for drinks, I always get the mango matcha (nonadjustable sweetness). Their Genshin collab was pricey (bundle) but interesting to see, ends 12/31. Store can get busy during peak hours esp when it's warmer. Parking is super easy in the lot.“

“This was our first time here and everything we ordered were so refreshing and delicious! Wife ordered the salted coco crunch and I got the mango sticky rice coco pudding. Not too sweet. (Not sweet enough for me but the wife loves it). Great atmosphere to hang out!“

“Came here on my way back from an event, and I'm not usually in the area. Also came here because there was a TooGoodToGo (2g2g) and thought I'd pick up for it.

I also purchased two drinks from here, one large milk tea, and one rose hip milk tea + matcha cloud. The rose hip milk tea was at 70% sweetness. A little on the sweeter side than I thought, but still very enjoyable. The flavor itself was strong enough to balance out the tea, and not necessarily overpower it. The cloud added a nice consistency and level of flavor to the drink overall.

The prices for these drinks seem very affordable to me. I'm happy the extra fun options were nothing to stretch my wallet over.

Drew (owner) told me that he'd just opened the store 3 months ago, and I hope it does well! I know I'm not in the area often, but hope if I'm ever nearby, I can nab another drink. He seems to have a good rapport with his staff, and good demeanor to customers, which certainly adds to the experience.

He told me he'd been rated low on 2g2g. He'd given me the option of picking what I wanted for drinks (2 large or 3 smalls), and then gave me a variety of flavors to choose from. The main low rating I saw on 2g2g in regards to this store was variety of drinks. In my opinion, getting 2 flavors for one trip is completely fine for a 2g2g pick up. Half the purpose of 2g2g is to help the restaurant/store with slow moving stock. I hope people stop rating this store low on 2g2g, because it doesn't deserve to be anything less than 4.5 in my opinion.“

“This bubble tea spot was such a vibe. I got the brown sugar boba and it was honestly perfection. The drink was creamy, smooth, and perfectly sweet. The boba pearls were soft and chewy just the way I like them. The tea and milk ratio was spot on, and every sip tasted super fresh and balanced.
It is a cute little spot, perfect for quick pickups. There is not much space to sit, but it totally works if you just want to grab your drink and go. Everything felt freshly made and not overly sugary like some other places. You can tell they put effort into getting the flavor right.
I finished my drink way too fast because it was that good. Definitely one of the best brown sugar bobas I have had in a while. I am for sure coming back again.“

“Happy new year ume. I love the matcha latte. The sweetness is just on point, not overly sugary, so you can fully taste the authentic tea flavor. U guys used to play music like keshi and sombr in the store which I enjoy listening while waiting for order. I kinda miss that.“

“Fantastic, authentic milk tea, now in the heart of San Mateo. Newly opened, this branch of Molly Tea is off to a gangbuster start. The cafe's ambience is welcoming, with the shop draped in Molly Tea's signature pink. The staff are doing a great job. Just be prepared for really, really long queues as LOTS of people want to get their milk tea fix here.“

“The tea here is good compared to other tea shops in the area. The milk and sugar doesn't overwhelm the tea. The shop is decorated with anime figures but there's no seating in the shop. Ordering is through just 1 kiosk, but our tea order of 4 was prepared in a timely manner. Parking was not a problem on a Tuesday afternoon.“

“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. “So I was in the mood for a drink so I thought I'd try their banana milk. Had heard of banana milk but never had it. I would have been content with just a regular milk that tastes like banana but I was pleasantly surprised that this was much better. It felt handcrafted, the banana milk texture was just slightly thicker than plain milk which was enjoyable. The taste was so perfect i dont even know how to compliment it. It was just the pure essence of banana without any bitterness, but still retaining that slight earthiness and im pretty sure it was made of real banana, there was no artificial syrup flavor etc. It was really really good and I'd definitely go back just for this one item even.“

“Tpumps is a great place to get boba at a decent price. Not too long ago, they raised their prices by 50 cents, which is disappointing but understandable. My go-to at Tpumps is the blackberry peach black tea with boba, and it always hits the spot. The pearl-tea ratio isn't the best, but the drink is still very worth it. I can appreciate the amount of customization this boba place offers, from the long list of flavors, to the many topping choices, to the amounts of sweetness and ice you can request, to the option to add milk. That's what makes it different from the rest. The staff at Burlingame are particularly excellent. A customer once mistook my order for their own and left, and the employees quickly noticed and remade my drink. Overall, a fine boba place, 4/5.“

“Good experience and easy to order (kiosk or at the counter). Staff prepare drinks quickly and they do have good options.

They pride themselves on fresh ingredients that are house made. Not sure if this extends to their toppings, but I've appreciated their fruit drinks in the past.

On the more expensive side for boba and they do provide quality cups and the option between plastic and bamboo straws.“

“Stopped by Little Late Bird on a weekday at 11am. It's a comfortable cafe serving Korean staples. The Ube Latte was like tropical Hawaii in a cup with coconut hints. The vegetable Japchae had perfectly chewy noodles and just enough sauce and veggies. The Bulgogi sandwich was amazing: toasted roll, perfectly cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, and spicy pickled jalapeños for contrast. Everything was filling but not heavy. They're also open on weekends 9am-4pm, so it's officially entering our brunch rotation!“

“I go here all the time for their claw machines, unique drinks, and MUCH cheaper coconut pudding than places like Tong Sui (hate to start competition but it must be said). The customer service, always very nice ladies working behind the counter! Their drinks I love too, especially the mango coconut pudding drink. Only once did that happen to me in 3 years of going there, and it is important to understand that I always see that workers behind the counter trying to handle it the best they could! Ordered snack combo and came back to get their tofu snack, freshly fried soft tofu so it’s piping hot and good with some sauces

“I live in Tracy and was craving bubble tea, my friend said that this is her favorite place to go to and she had a membership so we decided to go after church. There was somewhat of a line but it moved very quickly, a lot of people had the same ideas as us to come in for a drink. There was maybe four people in front of us but it only took about 2 minutes for us to get to the front, these workers move extremely fast and diligently. We ordered three drinks and my friend was able to get a reward which allowed her to get one free drink which was awesome.
