“Order the regular brown sugar boba milk tea at 15% sweet with light ice. Even with low sugar it’s still sweet enough because of the boba. Very consistent and rarely made wrong.

I got the fried octopus and it’s always so good. I prefer the legs over the rings. Rarely too chew or overly crispy. Usually my go to unless my kids are with me then I get the fried tofu which is also great!“

“Mochi Black Milk tea with Boba is my favorite. I have never seen any Boba tea with mochi. It’s so good. Their sticky rice and taro topping is good too. They have some snacks and I tried the spicy fried octopus which is crispy and not really spicy. The popcorn chicken is popular too. They also have bento boxes. “My go-to matcha place!! If you love a strong, nutty, and aromatic matcha, this is for you..

Their matcha quality can't be beat by most matcha places in the Bay. So far, I've tried their matcha einspanner, double matcha, earl grey matcha, and the black sesame matcha. They're all great, but I tend to opt for the special flavors since I don't make those at home. Their drinks are definitely not on the sweet side, so you'd be ok ordering 50-75% sweetness.

There are only 3-4 tables without many outlets, so I wouldn't recommend working here if you're looking for a bigger space. However, the service is really fast and the employees are great!

I would love to come here more often, but recently, they've hiked up the prices of their seasonal and special drinks
(easily $9-10 if you have non-dairy milk).

Definitely worth it for an occasional treat.“

“Probably the best tasting tea flavor and also great chewy boba and boba ratio, main ding is just the extra $1-2 dollars per drink than even the next very expensive boba brands (like Molly Tea and Hey Tea). For that price performance it’s hard to justify going to Chi Cha instead of the fleet (Ume, TP) of delicious boba places at a cheaper price point. If they knock a dollar off it would be a 5 star offering!“

“Verde Tea Cafe is a very lowkey and affordable drink store in downtown Mountain View. Their drinks selection are huge, it got almost every boba flavor you could think of, iced or hot. The store is small and cozy but still got free wifi and some tables to sit and study. Also appreciate that they even got Chinese savory snacks like popcorn chicken, fried fish balls or fried chicken wings etc! Overall, a solid spot. Highly recommend checking them out, you couldn't find anywhere cheaper than this.“

“Molly tea is the best milk tea in South bay/in general. I've compared the jasmine milk tea across multiple brands. Heytea is trash. Tptea is alright. Molly tea is the top. Forget bubbles and add ons and mix ins. Just get jasmine milk tea, peach oolong, the new citrus tea is very refreshing as well.“

“If you like Asian-style milk teas, boba, etc. this place is pretty good! My family and my brother’s family were at Home Depot across the street and wanted something to drink besides soda. Tpumps was across the street. There were sooo many flavors to choose from and the boba were prepared just right (not too firm or mushy). “This is another Fremont location of Ume Tea, which is at Pacific Commons. The atmosphere is quite different compared to the one that’s near Newpark Mall. I actually didn’t really know about it until I walk past by it when I was getting coffee.

I really like how boba tea comes in few different sizes compared to other boba shops, which usually serves boba in taller cups. There’s not much plentiful of options here, but not every boba shop needs to have that.

This is a convenient location for me if I ever to stop by at Pacific Commons and want to get boba here.“

I’m usually not a huge boba person because a lot of drinks are either way too sweet or way too heavy on the tea flavor, but the staff here helped customize everything perfectly. We sampled one of their peach drinks first and it was so good that we ended up adjusting my drink slightly with extra peach flavor, which turned out amazing. Honestly, one of the few tea/coffee shops in the area that feel like you could sit for a while and no one would care. “Mr. Sun’s Boba has been my FAVORITE café in the Bay Area since December 2023. I love Mr. Sun Tea because (1) the ambiance is welcoming and perfect for both reading and working (2) the boba is healthy. The tapioca pearls are made FRESH in-house daily, without any chemicals or artificial additives.

My go-to order is the RAINBOW Boba Milk Tea with three flavors of boba. I love it so much that I also order Mr. Sun for my gatherings and catering needs.“

My family introduced me to Tomg Sui and I absolutely loved it! I tried the mango coconut pudding and taro pudding, both were delicious, fresh, and perfectly sweet. Such a unique and refreshing dessert spot. Will definitely be coming back again!“

“i love fantasia! ever since my childhood spot closed in Rivermark, I've been coming to the Cupertino location. the staff are helpful and the environment is very soothing and relaxing to study at. they use better ingredients than a lot of boba shops nowadays and still keeps a comfortable, clean cafe vibe. always choose Fantasia! “Had dinner nearby in downtown sunnyvale and found this spot for dessert. Its a small store with minimum seating inside. I got the 4 tiramisu bundle for about $39. We wanted the mango but they ran out but the cashier suggested pistachio and was nice and helpful.

“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. “I went to Boba Pup with a friend of mine because he said his friend highly recommended it (so we wanted to give it a try).

Firstly, the service there was fantastic. We were alittle confused as to how the whole thing worked and the girl at the counter came around and helped us with the ordering machine. We also ordered a specific glass for another $5 (this seems a bit much just for requesting a specific glass but I wanted to get it for my wife).

The drink over-all was very good. I love the whole recycling the glass idea. We saved our glass because we want to collect them (they are nice looking glasses)“

“Smoothie is great. I got their strawberry avocado smoothie and it was great. It taste like they use real fruit and the yogurt adds a nice tartness. It is not too sweet.

But it took an hour to make because there’s so many people in the store and they have so many orders. You can also order online. You don’t need to order at the kiosk in the store. So I would recommend ordering ahead of time and then picking up when your order is ready.

There’s also 99 ranch nearby so it’s nice to go there and do grocery shopping while waiting for your order.

Parking is a little limited. The a lot is small. But people move in and out quickly, so I managed to park. If not, there’s a 99 Ranch nearby with a bigger parking lot.“

They have a wide variety of drinks and toppings, as well as games and seating inside. Lately green milk teas with boba have been my go to and they really have been giving me a caffeine boost and keeping me awake when I need it. So I got their Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea with boba, less sweet with less sugar. I really enjoyed it. The workers were very kind, quick, and friendly. Nice spot to hang out with friends, I also like how they post their top drinks on the menu and the walls. My friends got some other drinks that were also really good. Something with egg pudding and red bean. Parking is super easy since it’ located within a shopping plaza.“

“I went to Tapioca Express in Alhambra on Monday the 15th around noon. I ordered a Thai Tea, which is personally my favorite! I usually order Thai Tea ever where I go because I can't get enough. Haha, The two people that were helping me were Jo and Steve or Steven, I didn't quite hear the other employee name but it's somewhere along those lines. They were super nice! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with "Welcome to Tapioca Express!" It made me feel very welcomed, which is a feeling everybody should feel when they walk into a store. Since I always order Thai Tea, I just wanted to take a look at the menu and see what other options they had. They offered me other drinks but I had to stay with my usual. I liked how they were so patient with me. The Thai Tea tasted amazing! The sugar was just perfect! I will be coming back! Thank you for being patient and having a great customer service!“

“4.5/5 overall! The Boba is so yumm here. Tastes different than the typical honey boba elsewhere. Their hot tea is nicely frothed instead of just microwaved in other tea shops. We love seeing their machine making boba.
One feedback: The toilet is often dirty or have no toilet paper. Something they need to visit every 2-4 hours to keep it clean and stocked. The owner is very sweet and attentive. ,decent cafe to hangout while sipping delicious tea, definitely recommended!“

Good quality tea. My favorite is the pineapple oolong which is just right at 30% sweet. Grapefruit was very very refreshing - perfect for toning done a greasy meal you just had. We tried half of the menu and none of the quality is to disappoint besides the milk (which taste pretty cheap like the Costco gallon milk). Purple rice fresh milk is outstanding but the low quality milk takes away half of it. Do sign up on Square to get a free drink after 10 drinks!“
