“Their leaf quality is next level. I love the tie guan yin oolong. The boba quality is solid. Staff are friendly. Their matcha latte leaves a lot to be desired. It has an artificially too sweet honey flavor. Can't taste the matcha. It is barely green. Boba bliss has better matcha (Izumi Matcha even better though).“

“Friendly staff in a cozy shop with plenty of seating. I saw small tables as well as some group bench seating. Maybe a couple small metal tables out front.
Large counters of many, many bagel flavors plus some cookies and possibly, scones.
I dropped in for a quick takeaway order of bagels.
At home, I toasted a gourmet pesto bagel. Super fresh and tasty!
Will definitely visit again.“

“I love Tong Sui! Their smoothies always taste fresh and made out of real fruit (it doesn’t taste artificial)! My favorite is the strawberry cheezo. I’ve also had the avocado smoothie, and I really like it because it basically tastes like a blended avocado.
I also think their coconut deserts are great if you want a light tasting desert that’s not too sweet. This time we got the sesame coconut pudding and my boyfriend liked it.
The service is timely. There’s not usually a line when I come so I never have to wait too long and the servers are attentive in taking your order. They also have a screen kiosk right next to the order counter so you can also use the kiosk to browse the menu.
The inside is also really cute. I like their green walls with wood paneling. It feels warm and welcoming. They also have these interesting wooden bleacher sitting area in the back that I haven’t seen outside this cafe. The cafe is spacious and there is a lot of seating.
Parking: There are many parking garages in Palo Alto so it’s not too hard for us to find parking

“This boba shop is so very cute! I ordered black milk tea with taro and boba. They use real taro which was so creamy and tasty. One thing to note is that 30% sugar is less sweet than other shops, so it was only a faint sweetness as the boba was unsweetened. We got surprise cups which were around $10 each with the drink ($3.5-4.5 extra, depending on the drink). The plush keychains inside were cute and quite large, but not my favorite. It was a lot of fun opening them though!“

“Total Score: 6.725
Ambiance: 4.75/5
Can’t hate on the color pink ? but it’s so quaint and tiny
Food: 3.25/5
Pretty good mango sago flavor wise. Lowkey not sure why there are some crunchy ice bits inside it. Might have melted but not sure.
Wow: -1/1
Why’d it take forever to get this drink. So long that my drink melted???
Total Score = 3.5*AM + 6*FOOD + 0.5*WOW“

“This place is stuck in time. The boba price and food price is the same price boba used to cost years ago. The coconut smoothie is a good recommendation! The teas are also tasty and doesn’t taste nasty. 100% would highly recommend everyone here if they’re in the area.“

“Newly opened coffee/tea shop near West gate. Ordered Sweet Corn Latte for $7.5, which has been very popular in Los Angeles since last year. This is listed as one of the signature drinks they have. I ordered 0% sugar level with whole milk and the sweetness is perfect. Can’t imagine how sweet it will be if I order 100% sweet. It has a corn shaped ice cream on the top. And the drink itself is very good. I like it a lot.
It takes a while for them to make the drink so online order is recommended if you don’t want to wait in the cafe.
Parking is not too difficult even jn weekends.“

“My favorite boba place anywhere! Anytime I'm visiting the Bay Area, I make a point to stop by to complete my trip. The ingredients are fresh, and it always tastes homemade. I'm a creme brulee fan and their creme brulee boba is almost worth the cross-country flight itself.“

“The only thought--holy heck is the large size large. It's not just large, it's gigantic--they're generous with the boba too AND it's literally always a custom drink where you pick the flavors you want, all for a bit over $6??? The exterior of the store itself threw me off a bit, but the interior (and the menu board) are pretty cool.“

“I visited the tea-tasting section and learned about their trademarked tea-espresso machine and the impressive variety of teas they offer. Nick was incredibly friendly and taught us about the ideal brewing times, tea quantities, and water ratios to make each drink. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about High Mountain tea!“

“Moomoo Tea has a great vibe with a playable claw game where you can win stuffed animals! The ambiance is nice, the service is decent, but the food is average depending on the drink. I got the Uji Matcha Brulee with boba and the mango sago main drink. The uji matcha brulee tasted old as the boba wasn’t very chewy and was hard. The drink itself was just insanely filling and really sweet even though I put less sugar for my option. There was barely any matcha and Creme brulee flavor too which made me unhappy. On the other hand the mango sago drink saved my order because it tasted incredibly fresh and was the perfect level of sweetness at 50%. The grapefruit and mango were both sweet and there were plenty of both fruits. The sago itself was also abundant and provided the perfect texture with the sweet mango milk. The packaging was also reusable and it was very cute! I suggest getting less ice, less sugar, and pineapple jelly as a topping because my drink became a whole lot fresher and tastier! The price was quite large for both the drinks but the for the mango sago I would say the price was worth it. I would not recommend Moomoo Tea just because of the amount of better alternatives for boba there are in the Bay Area, but the mango sago was definitely a unique drink you should try if you are in the area!“

“I love Tong Sui!! Glad there's one near where I usually get my car serviced. Stopped by for the first time and they got A LOTTA flavors to try!! I love jasmine flavors and this summer they have it as a Jasmine Coconut Pudding!! Hope it'll stick around all-season instead!! Servicer is super nice and attentive as well!! Will come back!!“

“Edit: they're having a limited time rose drink event! First ten people can get a giant glass "perfume" bottle with the jade rose drink for only $13, and for fans of floral drinks/sweets, all the rose drinks taste fantastic! The lychee rose was my personal favorite.
Was a very cute (and pink) place! If you spend $3 more to get the "ume rabbit cup", you'll get a super tall cup that has a fake bottom containing a little plushie inside. The passion fruit green tea with boba and lychee jelly was very fruity, going to try it with four seasons tea next time. The spicy version of the mini fried octopus was also good and interesting! We tried the sour plum popcorn chicken and while the chicken itself was good, I wouldn't recommend this particular seasoning because it left a strange aftertaste.“

“It's not just my favorite boba tea; it's the only one I go to. One reason is they have my favorite barley tea, which has no caffeine and no sugar.Secondly, they offer a crazy variety of other options, and you can regulate the level of sweetness.“

“I stopped in after grabbing a meal nearby, looking for any boba in the recent heatwave.
Let me tell you, I was in for a surprise and I didn't even know it.
Upon entering I was greeted by a comfortable and clean atmosphere and good music. To my surprise, just behind the glass on the counter was a worker actively making the fresh boba pearls!
Ordering the drinks went nicely and they had a very good selection of teas and flavors.
I opted for the simple and classic Brown Sugar Boba w/Fresh Milk, and it was one of cleanest, smoothest boba drinks I've ever had.
The owner was on site and she was very kind and generous by answering any questions and letting us sample her freshly made boba. She showed such passion for her craft and the business and it shows in the quality of the product provided.
The fresh boba she let me sample was absolutely delightful and had a flavor unlike any of the typical tapioca boba pearls you would find at your average boba shop.
Definitely suggest coming to Mr. Sun Tea and trying out their boba. A simple review can't begin to show the difference in taste and quality.
They have six locations in total and I will be visiting them regularly from now on. Officially my go-to boba spot.“

“Cozy Tea Loft is a cute tea shop in West San Jose with a lot to offer. As a chocoholic, I'm especially pleased with the variety of cocoa drinks and with the fact that black (chocolate) cloud foam is an option. The crème brûlée in the Torched Series is also good. As far as toppings, I've only tried the Black Boba, and it was nice & chewy. A side note: as someone with a sweeter tooth, I found 80% to be optimal, so you might want to order a bit less than your usual for starting out.
As far as the interior, it is nicely decorated with some fun touches (how many tea shops have a claw machine?) But I think it could be made "cozier." I don't have issues or complaints with the service.
Overall, I hope to return to try many more of their delicious drinks.“

“I have tried the tea and it's one of the kind, price is so reasonable for a large size, you need to try when you are around the area, words can't describe until you have tasted the tea and judge for yourself.... highly recommended.“

“Was looking for a boba spot/something sweet after having dinner in this plaza and TeaTop was just about to close. They have a wide variety of drinks and toppings, as well as games and seating inside. Lately green milk teas with boba have been my go to and they really have been giving me a caffeine boost and keeping me awake when I need it. So I got their Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea with boba, less sweet with less sugar. I really enjoyed it. The workers were very kind, quick, and friendly. Nice spot to hang out with friends, I also like how they post their top drinks on the menu and the walls. My friends got some other drinks that were also really good. Something with egg pudding and red bean. Parking is super easy since it’ located within a shopping plaza.“

“We were across the street at Newark high school and wanted some boba. This little location just inside the new park mall offers a huge selection of a wide variety of different drinks. Service was quick and drinks were very tasty. Would definitely try something else next time!
Parking: The mall wasn't very busy so we parked right in front.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to get from the parking lot to the mall and into the mall. Very accessible!“

“I ordered exactly what the most recent reviewer ordered. The signature Alpine green tea with "jelly cake" which is called feng guo in the store. I like it a lot. The tea itself is very sweet, the jelly is almost tasteless, a bit fruity sweet, but very big, chewy, and slippery. The contrast between the two is fun. By the time I finished paying the drink was ready which I don't think ever happened to me in a boba place.“

“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. My friend accidentally ordered the wrong item, and staff were happy to fix it. The shop is small with few tables, but it’s very neat and clean“

“Standard boba place. Their red bean ice was pretty good but a bit overpriced. Two drinks came out to $17, par for the course these day, and one of them was just a basic mango green tea.
Good location and has outdoor seating for people watching.“

“most boba shops get horchata so terribly wrong i swore off trying one ever again but reviews here looked promising and it was actually pretty good! it has a very light flavor and they dont over do the sweetness like other places. if you want a drink thats not too sweet or heavy i def recommend the horchata smoothies (i got the coffee one)“
“Such a pleasant little cafe. Their drinks had the best tapiocas I’ve ever had - perfect texture and sweetness. I would recommend 25%-50% sweetness as a baseline, but you can go up or down from there depending on your sweetness preferences. You should definitely go and support this small business ASAP!!“

“popped in here on a quiet Tuesday evening. it's a place I've wanted to try for a long time (given the name reminds me of Mass Effect). I got the strawberry matcha with boba, oat milk and 25% sweetness (I generally go lower). it was honestly some of the best I've had! very smooth. great flavor and the 25% was in fact ever so lightly sweetened. I definitely will be coming back!“

“Tong Sui Desserts & Drinks in Sunnyvale offers an interesting take on traditional desserts, though it didn’t quite match my personal preferences.
Signature Dishes: Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t love their tong sui signature dishes. As a huge coconut fan, I felt like the addition of flavors like strawberry or vanilla made it taste a bit too western for my liking, taking away from the authentic coconut flavor I enjoy. While the concept is creative, the execution didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
Pricing: The pricing definitely felt a bit high for what you get. While the desserts are decent, I don’t think they justify the cost, especially considering the size and flavor profile of the dishes.
Service: The service, however, was great. The staff were helpful and friendly, offering suggestions and answering questions with a smile. They made the experience much more pleasant, and I appreciate their attentiveness.
Ambience: The ambience was solid as well. It’s a cozy space with a relaxed vibe, making it a nice place to unwind while enjoying your dessert. The atmosphere contributes positively to the overall experience.
Overall, while Tong Sui Desserts & Drinks has a nice vibe and good service, the desserts and pricing didn’t quite work for me. It’s worth checking out if you’re open to their unique take on traditional flavors, but it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for.“

“Good parts are the great downtown location, staying open late, and sizable interior with quite a few tables. Less good: Only one outlet to plug in computer, paper cups for drinks are unappealing, they don’t open the very nice upstairs space like the prior coffee shop did, and service usually a bit slow.“

“Really small interior with two ordering kiosks - definitely a place for take-out only and they put up signs stating that. Their Black Milk Tea w/ boba was surprisingly solid for a place that doesn't appear to focus on milk tea boba. Their pandan mochi-waffle was not bad - had a hint of sweetness and pandan flavor. Great light crunchy exterior followed by the chewy mochi texture. Will def come back here for their milk tea and to try their other mochi-waffle flavors.“

“I kinda prefer this location to El Camino's because the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea here has a more intense flavor. However, it's wise to check the wait time if you're using the Snack Pass. The place can get quite bustling, which is a testament to their popularity and the consistent quality they maintain. I've tried strawberry milk tea, the Taiwan classic, Paradise Peach with cheese foam, fantastic fruit tea, and Oats Fresh Milk Tea, and each one was great in its own way. The toppings are also equally good, such as the QQ noodles, grass jelly, pudding, etc. When it comes to food, the popcorn chicken is a must-try. At the moment, their version is more satisfying than or arguably up to par with Ume Tea and Shihlin.“

“This is a very small boba shop but it was a couch and a couple of chairs inside of needed. Staff is very nice and friendly. The drinks were good. Boba was sold out so we tried the pineapple strawberry tea what has actual pineapple in it. Pretty refreshing. And the mango drink was pretty good. Not too sweet.
There are some cute elements in the decor but it lacks a central theme, so it's not memorable. Wish they would lean more into the emoji theme that's in their name.
It's a good place to stop by for a drink when walking around the area.“

“I am a fan of their coffee boba! Fair warning, tea was lukewarm when I got it with no ice, so I'd suggest choosing light ice instead. The store itself is pretty small and definitely more of a grab and go place, although it can still get crowded during the evenings or weekends. I wish they had snacks to go with the drinks as well. Will be coming back to try more drinks!“

“This is definitely my favorite boba place. First, the different flavored bobas are all amazing. They have such an amazing flavor that you can’t find anywhere else. Second, the service! Everyone is so friendly but my favorite employee by far is Lucy. She is simply so friendly. I love to chat about anything with her. If she is working, I always go to her instead of the kiosk. She also always offers me samples of the boba even though I already know what they taste like. All the workers are so nice I love coming to this place.“

“Tea Pastel Lounge impresses with its spacious, lounge-like setup, plenty of seating, and stylish decor that's perfect for social media. There's ample parking, which makes it super convenient. “My oreo matcha drink came with a LOT of ice (there was no option to adjust ice or sugar level), so the drink was heavily watered down and every sip was crunching ice more chunky than a slushie. Otherwise the drink was decent. Decor and drink selection more than makes up for the drink quality, which is not bad but doesn’t stand out.
Seating - not much seating, no tables, only 1 counter area against the window. Probably has 6 stools total against the counter.“

“I tried the signature "Yifang Fruit Tea" with 30% sweetness as they recommend though I took no-ice instead of less-ice. The tea itself tastes fruity, not too sweet and overall well balanced. The bountiful passion fruit seeds are a great touch. The fruit slices float above it all but I'm not sure if they have a real effect. I do really like this tea but I also have to say I prefer the moomo (Sunnyvale) fruit drink because it has more of a diverse set of fruit and bits in it. Still this is top notch and worth the 5⭐. I'll try more from the menu when I'm in the area.“

“Fresh and inventive boba teas. They seem to be at least moderately busy (sometimes very busy) most of the time, so you may want to order online on your way there. There's no indoor seating, but there are a couple of tables out front. Popular with students from the nearby Middle and High schools.“
