“Amazing food!! Get the famous Amok, it's the softest fish I've ever had. When we arrived at 6pm (on a Saturday night) there was nobody there which was slightly off putting, but we saw a lot of people getting takeout. After we started eating it was clear the food was delicious and people just weren't feeling the dining room. Honestly, if you can get past the empty floor and dated seats, it's a very pleasant dining experience. I hope more people give this place a shot. It's really great and deserves your patronage!“
“The milk tea I had here was some of the best I've had in a long time. The shop was small and cute with enough seating for big groups. I came with my friend close to closing and the people working were very kind. Our service was great despite us cutting it close! My friend got their mango tea I believe and it was so good! Their boba was perfectly cooked - the onlyyyyy downside is that they only use the tiny boba not the regular size. But the fact that it's cooked perfectly makes up for it! The boba literally melts in your mouth. Try their milk tea! Thank me later!“
“Love 7 Leaves as one of my go-to boba chains that are here in the South Bay. This location is conveniently off the 17 which makes it a perfect stopover whenever I am heading back to Santa Cruz. What sets them apart from other shops is the quality of their teas. They use high quality tea leaves to brew their tea and you can build your own with whichever milks, flavorings, and toppings you desire.I usually go with their Assam Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Boba. Always go half sugar because they already use a lot of sweetener and this was a perfect amount. My drink was prepared well and very satisfying. The shop itself is relaxing and chill. There's lots of room to do work or meet somebody. Highly recommend this 7 Leaves!Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy milk available“
“Tonight is my first graveyard shift, so our manager got us Bober. She got me a milk tea with brown sugar. It was so darn good! It had a nice sweetness to it that was perfect. So I also thought it was weird that my straw didn't go all the way down, but the bottom felt hollow. Well, duh, there was a toy in the bottom like an advent calendar. Very cute concept, to say the least. I'll definitely be back.“
“tiger tea is one of the few tea places i love going to! i don't have a sweet tooth and their drinks aren't too sweet which i really like! the workers are always so attentive and welcoming in the shop and there's always a nice environment. i really like their strawberry green tea and their matcha. i highly recommend this little shop!! :)“
“Frozos has quickly become our favorite local fro-yo spot in Santa Clara, and I only wish we had discovered it sooner. They offer an impressive variety of toppings, far surpassing other yogurt places in the area. The cookie dough is my personal highlight; it's the fresh and delicious kind. Additionally, the cake batter fro-yo is my all-time favorite. The staff at Frozos are exceptionally kind and helpful. On one occasion, when I forgot to buy milk during my grocery run, they graciously allowed me to purchase a jug right from their store. Their kindness really sets them apart. While I haven't tried their bubble tea yet, it's definitely next on my list!“
“This was such a sweet treat after a heavy meal. I was worried a smoothie would be too heavy but the avocado was not too sweet. The coconut pudding comes with the drink as well and it was the best part by far! It seemed like there was only one person working there but they were really nice & welcoming, telling us if we had any questions to go to them. And I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the shop! You know when they take care of their plants, they'll take care of their customers too!“
“What a delightful surprise. I’m an admitted milk tea addict and up till now had a favorite spot I’d come to on a regular basis. This is my new favorite spot now. The drinks are delicious and the experience is not only tasty, but so much fun with the little surprises and decorative cups they serve their beverages in. It’s a very cozy atmosphere and sure to bring a smile on every visit.“
“Stopped by Sunday afternoon to check this place out and took advantage of their buy 5 get 1 free deal because I like to get two drinks for myself! Great ambiance, decor, and music. Love the mirror in front of the flower wall to make sure you look on point! The drinks we ordered were the strawberry matcha latte, butterfly lemonade, Thai milk tea, peach green tea and a basic jasmine tea. Jasmine was very simple with no sweetener. I like that. The milk used in most of their drinks are lactose free friendly, so you know what won't happen The peach green tea was sweet but still good. If you like a tarty lemonade, the butterfly lemonade is perfect for you. My bf and his son loves it. The strawberry matcha was delicious the matcha was not overpowering and had the perfect amount of strawberry flavor in it. The Thai milk tea was sweet but not too sweet. My stepson enjoyed his sweet brown sugar matcha. Soooo we popped in for six more drinks yesterday night. Only this time I changed ordered haidee's perfect matcha instead of the Thai milk tea. I wanted to try something different. Service was great and staff was friendly! Only con is the sweetness and ice level options.“
“Came here for their good variety chasen to buy and I ended up getting the chasen if suikaen! It is one of the cheapest ones in the store for $38. The person who gave me the chasen was super nice enough to explain how to wash and use it. I also got the matcha latte and the recipe is the exact same as the San Jose location, rich in matcha and creamy in dairy! It was super busy when I came here, but other than that, Izumi Matcha is by far my favorite matcha places to go to in the Bay Area!“
“I like this place. Came here with some friends and instantly thought, "This is it, one of the rumored 3rd places to hang and chill." I had a good time here one evening with friends as the vibe felt very cozy. People were having, studying, and we were boardgaming. Given the opportunity, I would come here anytime I want to hang in person with friends. You do have to make a purchase to stay here but I thought it was fine for the time I spent here.“
“pinky coco is my new fav now. The front desk told me it is an actual pink pineapple blended with coconut water and milk. It is really tasty and I do 0% sugar for my gf. She loves it and it is a pink drink! My all time fav is mango mochi and black sesame coconut puddings.“
“This tomato pasta with meatballs, I order it every single time I come here, because it tastes so darn good! This restaurant quite frankly doesn't get the attention it deserves. The menu items are cooked in a very original way and the explosion of flavors are surprising to come from such simple dishes. You can tell that they are cooked with love. I highly recommend this little vegan gem in San Jose.Vegetarian options: 100% vegan, everything on the menu is vegan and it's very delicious.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“- MOOMO Mango Pomelo Sago(caffeine-free) with Limited Edition Cup- Uji Matcha Brulee Milk Tea- Thai Milk TeaTo order:There are TWO self order kiosks. One in the front and one to the right, next to seating in the corner. My drink was the Mango Pomelo, and I ordered it 50% sweet and regular ice. It was exactly what I wanted it to be......mango'y!!! It was sweet, a bit tart and delicious. The only complaints there were were about the Thai tea. My friend didn't like it much, but I didn't try it for myself. This shopping center is quite busy on weekends so parking can be difficult to find close. May have to park a little farther. There are so many good food choices in this shopping center. Would suggest having some dumplings or noodles nearby, then get your tea on your way out.“
“My husband wanted Vietnamese coffee and our friend saw this new place nearby. The Vietnamese coffee was good, especially the egg cream topping. (Our friend also got this and thought the coffee could be stronger). We also got the yellow yacht (mango banana smoothie) and dragonberry fusion (fruit tea). The smoothie was a win! My son really enjoyed this. It was not too sweet and nice and creamy. The drinks were really pretty with the small ice cubes that they use. We waited outside because we had dogs, and when our drinks were done, the barista brought them to us! That was service beyond expectations that we appreciated but definitely don't expect. We would come here again to try more!“
“"I WANT GONG CHA", I scream to myself every time I pass by this place. Gong cha is in my neighborhood and conveniently located on my way home. The drinks are good and consistent. The folks that work there are so nice and get 5 stars too! I like to get some boba with the fam and play one of their board games. I see people working and studying there all the time and it has a very chill vibe. Highly recommended stopping here if you're in Willow Glen.“
“I'll take 138 teaspoons, please.Teaspoon is a Bay Area original bubble tea chain which I grew to love in San Jose. They've rapidly expanded since those days and have even made to other states, including the Las Vegas area where I mostly hang out these days. I'm pretty sure they utilize a tea espresso system to keep the tea quality high, and I can't recall their tea flavor ever failing me ta any location.I had recently received a free birthday drink in my rewards account (pro tip: give them your personal info) and I had an errand to run nearby, so I figured it was convenient enough to use the offer. I tried to place a mobile order but it apparently was too confusing for me to use. Fortunately, the employees were nice and got my order entered, reward redeemed, and drink prepared in rapid succession.I usually gravitate toward milk tea, and Black Sugar Assam ($5.75, ~23 fl oz) looked newer to me within that category. It comes with honey boba included, which I usually eschew for caloric savings but didn't mind trying. The boba is as good as anyone makes it, with balanced chewiness and softness. You can tell that it's sweeter than non-honey-marinated boba too. As for the drink, the assam black tea flavor and the black sugar flavors are both prominent, and the drink has a good creaminess that doesn't linger on the palate. I forgot to request lower sugar, but the sweetness level was actually not too high. This location is standing-room only. I guess I don't mind that since I'm usually grabbing something to-go anyway, but if you want to hang out with your friends or pretend to study for a test, you may want to try elsewhere.I would actually love for Teaspoon to become as popular and as commonplace as Starbucks. They're a consistently good bubble tea spot and surely have enough variety to satisfy most boba fans.“
“I like the options here! Some unique options that are different from other boba spots in the area but also have all the typical options! Typical (venti) cup size - which is good! Use kiosk to order, adjustments available. Located on the side of Chevron but aesthetic inside is cozy and you can’t tell or remember you’re next door to a gas station. There were a good amount of ppl hanging out inside, plenty of seating. Will definitely make this one of my go-to boba spots!“
“I love verde and I used to go to the cupertino one all the time as a kid before it closed. My boyfriend and I come here all the time for the nostalgia. The drinks are still amazing and the popcorn chicken is delicious! Our fav is strawberry jasmine milk tea :)“
“We tried the A2 Taiwanese chicken cutlet and A3 basil popcorn chicken. Both hit the spot and had a delightfully crunchy exterior which contrasted the flavorful, juicy chicken inside. I've been missing Taiwan and this fulfilled my craving for street food. I thought $12.28 was a bit pricey for the chicken cutlet, but they have large portions and cut it up in a box for you so it's easy to eat. I'll definitely be back for more.“
“Almost don’t want to review because it’s such a nice spot for getting work done! During the week it’s not very busy and they have plugs for your laptop. The oolong milk tea is delicious. Vibe is nice.Parking: Always plenty of parking at least on the weekdays.“
“Their ordering process is different than most boba tea shops.Pros: a very customizable modus operandi. You'll probably feel empowered getting your special drink of the day. :) It's made to order by friendly staff. Real human interactions. Quick service. Mostly organized and clean environment.Cons: If you have trouble reading those colorful various-fonted words, or are simply being fickle, God bless you and the staff who takes your order. ?You first pick cup size (24oz or 36oz), choose hot or cold, then tea type, milk, sweetness and topping. You can add up to three fruity flavors. There are certain toppings they don't carry such as puddings.I ordered a triple shot not knowing what it is, neither did the cashier, "A type of tea" is the answer I got. Can't taste any add-on flavors but the mango popping boba bursted happily in my mouth. Though it tasted a bit artificial, it was delightful enough.Seating is limited, only three tables inside. They should've added more both indoors and outdoors. Biz has been picked up comparing to plandemic era when sit-in wasn't allowed and it was depressing. Now fast forward four years later their overall social vibe is still lacking.Parking: Weird set-up of store entrance. It feels like entering the backside from parking lot. Crowded space during weekends.“
“I came by while I was in the area and ordered the cloudy strawberry, 25% sweet. It wasn't cheap, but you get 20% off your first order so with this discount I was able to get it for $5.54. It was definitely sweeter than I expected for 25% sweetness, but it was yummy. I liked the cheese foam and strawberry bits. Overall, not bad since at least the drink size is pretty large, and they have an okay-sized menu. They have indoor seating and a crane machine if you want to try your hand at winning a stuffed animal.“
“Pros: Nice atmosphere, pink decorations (!) and there are tables inside. The tea we got was ok, and you self-order in a table that gives you many options to make your selection as preferred.Cons: It took quite long to get the order ready, even though there was no line.“
“Today I ordered a roasted barley milk tea for myself and a passion fruit green tea for my friend. They tasted refreshing and are very affordable! The service has always been friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely stop by again next time I’m in downtown Mountain View. :)“
“I got the strawberry sundae with matcha soft serve, flavor of ice cream was delightful and rich with matcha flavor. There are 2 issues however, 1 is that the spoon is much too deep and very difficult to eat out of. I also wish there was a small size because the normal size is too big.“
“UME tea has always been one of my go to spots for boba and when I heard about it opening in great mall, you know I had to try it out. I came here during grand opening and the line was out the door, I knew I had to come back way later in order to try this place. This place is located within great mall, and whats a little shopping without stopping by for some boba. We ordered the white peach oolong with boba and a grape fruit tea with their grape jelly. You can add an additional $3.50 to your drink to get a little surprise toy that comes with your drink!! Overall, the flavor and quality has always been on par with UME. I was hoping for additional flavors like other places but knowing they are new, I believe that they would add more in the future. Next time if you're shopping at great mall, make sure to grab a cup of boba while you're at it!“
“Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!“
“Their drink size is very massive if you go with the 32 oz. As for the drink itself, I give it a go because they make it balance. Thought their menu doesn’t offer a lot, they mix in with food items, but I think their simple menu aligns to their theme of the shop itself.“
“I love this boba shop, they have the best drinks in the town. Their drinks are reasonably priced compared to current market prices, so they are not expensive. The staffs are very friendly, Im kind of picky, but they always give me very good recommendations. Therefore, I’d recommend this boba shop.“
“I was introduced to Vietnamese Che about 10 years ago and it has been one of my favorite desserts ever since. My typical order here is the #1 "Bambu Special." My other order is the coconut milk tea with boba, which might be the most delicious drink on earth.“
“I came to Macu Tea simply because my initial boba spot was unexpectedly closed. Originally from Taiwan, this highly popular franchise specializes in fresh fruit teas consisting of REAL fruit. My order: *Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea + Chi-Chi Salted Cheese Foam *Yukult Green Tea + Bo-Bo Agar *Passionfruit Li-Li Tea [requested to be extra sweet] *Ruby Grapefruit Li-Li Tea Drinks are delightfully refreshing and not overly sweet. I appreciate Macu's teas actually taking like tea and not sugar water. 75% sweet is definitely my go-to style of ordering. Bonus points for Macu actually using fresh fruit when applicable- both the passion fruit bits and grapefruit elevated the flavors and provided with a nice difference in textures. 4/5 stars. This is definitely a good option whenever i'm in the mood for tea and am not willing to do much driving.“
“Tried the crème brulee toast, and it was really good with a smooth and tasty layer of custard on top. The strawberry fever toast reminded me of a fancy strawberry shortcake, though the toast was a bit tough and thick, had to use a knife to make it easier to eat. Swapped the standard ice cream flavor for chocolate since I saw it as an option on the self order kiosk, and it was awesome. The popcorn chicken was yummy. The "mild spicy" was spicier than I expected (it's unclear whether "little spicy" is more or less spicy than the mild). The fruitiness in the strawberry smoothie was strong. 75% sweetness was too sweet for me, and the smoothies are not milk based so it was just really sugary and tart, but still good. It took about 5-8 minutes for the drinks and 15 minutes or so for the food. Ordering off the kiosk in the front was easy, and staff was available behind the counter ready to help as well. The place is small. Arriving around 7:30, we found seating, but after 8pm on a Saturday, it definitely got crowded. We had no problem finding parking right in front of the entrance. A pleasant experience overall. Cool spot for light snacks, dessert, and tea.“
“This is my first time visiting and trying Taiwanese food. I fairly impress with the vegetarian style noodles and chicken wings. I did absolutely love the chicken wings, rest flavor profile. The service and atmosphere was excellent, it was during work time and we completely forgot the work because it was that good.“
“I will recommend their Matcha Toffee drink. If you want it stronger, you could customize and add more matcha! It's inside the San Pedro market so it's usually pretty lively around! You could also customise the amount of ice and sweetness levels. Seating is shared with other businesses around.“
“❤️Tried this aesthetic looking boba place ! Service was quick and very friendly!? I’m a fan of fruit teas, however the tea that comes with real fruit did not have a “no ice” option. Other fruit teas are made with syrup like I was told. What I ordered -1) Passion Green Tea Melody - Item 10 on the menu. I asked for no ice on this one and , 120% sugar and it came with jelly I really loved this one and I’m thankful for the recommendation! ?2) Taro Milk Tea - Item 5 on the menu!My husband was not a fan of this one. It was too powdery ☹️ Had to come home and filter it out ? It’s definitely very different from the other Taro Milk Teas We’ve had in the past and we were told it tasted different cause the Taro was more natural ?The restroom was clean too ?“
“Came back again because the smoothies were so good the first time. Tried a couple new things this time. It was quite busy, but it is a Friday night, so I am glad there are lots of customers because this place is really good. Cashier was friendly and restaurant was sleek with white walls and colorful dragon.“
“When the famiLE travels together gets BOBA together. When in San Jose, you already know we will be going to our favorite spot Ding Tea in Downtown San Jose If you haven't been...why haven't you? They have the best mural representing the BAY So many of us which means a whole lotta drinks.“
“I am a big fan of the milk tea and honey boba here. The tea is delicious and the boba is a perfect marriage of soft and chewy. It's so addicting. When you enter the shop, you're automatically greeted by a bright warm smile by Cindy, the owner. Recently I had the pleasure of chatting with her. She shared her deep passion to bring high quality tea and boba to her customers and to set Snow Boba aside from the competition. She develops all the wonderful drink combinations in-house and is constantly brewing up new concoctions. She makes her own boba from scratch too. When you look at the business, it is not only a woman-owned but it's also a family affair. Cindy carefully sources her the tea leaves from her family's tea farm in VietNam. She is meticulous and thoughtful in the entire process and all the positive reviews are a reflection of these efforts. I keep coming back again and again...“
“Very cozy place, gives off comfy vibes. The food is absolutely amazing, service is great, staff are all nice, and overall an amazing place. I highly recommend mango smoothie or the Meow Tea mix, both of them are delicious. The wait time is reasonably long, and the boba is absolutely heavenly. 10/10, definitely would recommend.“
“Closest to Hawaiian poke in the area. Really fresh and flavorful. A bit pricey for the amount of stuff given. Every time I've been there the employees aren't very welcoming but it's a quick grab and go place. No inside dining.“
“I ate at World Wrapps in the Mercado Shopping Center today -- the steak and shrimp fajita; it was tasty and consisted of four substantial fajitas. The price was modest – about $15+ tax and tip. Their menu consists mostly of wraps, bowls, fajitas, and quesadillasThe customer orders at the cashier/counter and an employee brings the food to your table. There are only a few tables inside with more outside. There is plenty of free street level parking in the Mercado Shopping Center. World Wrapps is just a few doors down from the AMC theater.“
“I liked the fruit tea; I got a strawberry flavored one, and it was alright. The atmosphere is nice, and there is quite a bit of seating available. Nothing too special, just a regular tea place. I might try the coffee is I am ever here again. There is a restroom here, which is a plus.“
“After seeing so many Instagram posts about Sunright Tea Studio, I decided to finally try it out and I was happy knowing that there's a location in downtown SJ! I did not know that there was a location here until I checked Maps and thought that the next closest one to my location was in Sunnyvale and Milpitas. Just a heads up that because this location is in downtown, the parking is tough to find nearby. You most likely will have to walk a little bit to get to the shop! The place is really clean and bright. The ambiance of the store was bright and made me feel happy walking inside. There are two self-service Kiosks and if you need further assistance, a team member can help you out. There were so many drink options that I didn't know what to choose. You definitely get a lot more options here than most boba stores. There's your typical milk tea and fruit tea, and they also have slushies here too. I was overwhelmed by how many options there were, so I decided to order a strawberry matcha latte with honey boba. When waiting for my drink, I noticed that there wasn't a lot of seating available so I had to stand most of the time. I believe I waited about 10-15 minutes for my drink. I noticed that a team member ran out the door to tell a customer that they forgot 2 of their drinks, so I appreciate that the workers here care about the quality of service! Shoutout to whoever that was! The drink was perfect. It wasn't too sweet but wasn't diluted. You can definitely taste the strawberry and the matcha. I don't think it stood out though, since it's just matcha and you can get it anywhere. Overall, I think that Sunright Tea Studio is a decent boba shop with plenty of drinks to choose from. The only con about this location is the parking situation, but overall, the quality of the boba is fantastic. I would come back!“
“A delightful new addition to the neighborhood. The owner a long time local resident. Has a passion and pride for his tea and new shop.Enjoyed some perfectly cooked popcorn chicken (mild) it juicy on the inside crispy on the outside with plenty of fried basil. They have a little station of different sauces for you to pick your own a compliment but it was perfectly nice on its own. And the place is overall inviting and clean. Even with a little bit of clutter behind the workspace it's clear they're still moving in.Also enjoyed a milk tea.It was perfectly balanced. Nice and cool very refreshing perfect for a hot San Jose day.I managed to get to speak with the owner for a while a very nice fellow. The place was not busy at all and that broke my heart a little bit. He said he was getting ready for the grand opening hopefully sometime soon and that they were still working out parts of the menu such as the sandwiches weren't available yet.As a fellow long-term resident of this neighborhood, who was disappointed with the previous tea shop at this location. The new owners and shop gave me hope for a quality boba house. Here to stay .I look forward to returning. And you've got a new regular customer.“
“Omg. The popcorn chicken. So good. Try it! One of my favorite things to get there!! The drinks are decent I suppose, but not my favorite. Some are pretty good and some are so and so. I like the little events they have sometimes! They're pretty fun! I also like the decor, very cute! The service is good, nothing that special though, just regular. Never had any bad service though. I dislike that prices keep raising every once in awhile, but besides that, I really like this place, the food is delicious! Some are decent but not my favorite. Popcorn chicken is the best here though, so definitely give it a try!“
“My friend recommended this tea place and finally got to try it. You can tell it's good tea quality at a decent price. I tried their brown sugar boba tea and it's good. The boba was soft the way I like it. I am yet to try other flavors, but will surely add this to my list of reliable boba tea places. Good tea is the key, not being overpowered by milk.“
“Know that this is a very small business so the cashier might be mia because they are helping thr kitchen. I don't think they have any bells to announce when customers come in. Came here a third time. I am taking away a star because I asked for 50% sweetness in my POG drink but my drink was somehow sweeter than my bf's 100% sweetness drink... Ordered curly fries here. Pretty good but they only give you two sauces (house-made aioli and ketchup) which is not enough. I asked for another ketchup container but it still was not enough. I'm glad they give a lot of fries but the fries to sauce ratio is not good.“
“I got the Kumquat Lemon tea 70% sweet, and it was very refreshing! We sat outside in front of the shop and enjoyed the nice weather. You can either order online by scanning a QR code or order at the kiosk. Very convenient if there is a long line.“
“My favorite boba tea shop to go to anytime I come over the hill always amazing boba (the boba is on the softer side which I love but I know some people like them more firm)Great service fair prices. The jasmine tea with honey boba is my favorite.“
