“This tea cafe has been around for a while. I like the quality of the green tea and the location in the Downtown Mountain View makes it a good place to visit after a meal. For a long while, it has more reasonable and lower price than other boba tea shops. Lately its price has unfortunately increased too.“

“Mr. Sun’s Boba has been my FAVORITE café in the Bay Area since December 2023. I love Mr. Sun Tea because (1) the ambiance is welcoming and perfect for both reading and working (2) the boba is healthy. The tapioca pearls are made FRESH in-house daily, without any chemicals or artificial additives.
My go-to order is the RAINBOW Boba Milk Tea with three flavors of boba. I love it so much that I also order Mr. Sun for my gatherings and catering needs.“

“A delightful find in Mountain View - local favorite boba place that has won Best of Mountain View awards several years in a row. Bobas are super soft and chewy! I would like my Hazelnut milk tea with stronger tea flavor and my husband’s Dark Plum smoothie to be slightly sweeter at 50% sweet. Not too many sweetness levels in some drinks - it’s either 100% or 50%, prices more reasonable than other boba places.“

“Most excellent waffles - they were actually crunchy and tasty, not chewey and bland (my usual experience with waffles in the US). Service was fairly fast, but we did go when it wasn't busy, so YMMV on that front.
No place to sit and eat - it's takeout only.“

“Consider this a 3.5. The boba was off but good, the taste really, it was chewy and firm. The tea was good (I got less sweet but regular would have been fine as someone who likes little to no sugar in tea. The staff were very friendly and upfront. There was a reasonable amount of ice in the drink. The price was average.“

“Thin bread from the outside and full filling stuffed inside! Fresh pickles and veggies so yummy! I like the spreading pate it so mild and tasty! Recommended saigonsignature number 6! I like brown sugar boba for the drinks! It’s great to go along as combos! I must try!“

“Food was great - piping hot and super tasty. I'm a big fan of orange chicken. Sadly the ambience was terrible - one member of staff was on their break and was sat in the middle of the restaurant watching videos on their phone with the sound blasting. As there was also music playing in the restaurant it made for a horrendous noise.“

“Huge shoutout to Justin for being so helpful! I came in looking for a unique thermal bottle and left with the cutest bunny-themed one—complete with a tea infuser, which is perfect for a tea lover like me. I even grabbed an adorable bunny decoration to match. UME always has such fun finds, and I can’t wait to see what new swag you’ll have next time!“
