About TY Sandwiches

TY Sandwiches is a cozy spot with a simple menu but packed with flavor. The Banh Mi sandwiches are a hit, especially the lemongrass chicken and lemongrass tofu options. The spring rolls are served with peanut sauce, but some prefer the sugary vinegar lime sauce. Prices are around $10 per item, and they accept both cash and card. Vegetarian options are limited, but the lemongrass tofu sandwich is a good choice. The boba drinks are also recommended, though the Thai iced tea had a plasticky taste. The staff are welcoming, well-trained, and understanding, making it a cool little spot for a quick bite. Everything is made to order, so there’s a wait, but the food stays warm and fresh even for takeout. The grilled pork Banh Mi was OK, with extra vegetables, though some found the pickled veg lacking radish. The garlic noodle plates and Vietnamese snacks add to the authentic flavors. Good food, good drinks, and a comforting interior make this a hidden gem for a tasty meal, whether grabbing takeout or enjoying it in the park.

My always choice is of course #6 grilled pork with well-seasoned meat and abundantly fresh veggies. #3 combination is also a should-try . It is what I believe the most traditional one. Besides these, a must-have is definitely Vietnamese ice coffee. It is made strong and sweet beautifully bringing me back the flavor which I always miss when being away from home. Amazing in everyway! Love the new interior! Keep up the delicious work!
I came into here after a long day of school, looking for a little pick me up meal. I always walked past this store, and curiosity got the best of me. I ordered the chicken steak banh mis ($10), and it was crispy, crunchy, and delicious. The Vietnamese bread used to make the sandwich was thin and crisp, and a soft, pillowy dough on the inside. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned, and the other toppings included cilantro, cucumber, jalapeno and carrots. All the toppings gave...read full review
