“Really good food and very fresh. If you get a poke bowl as long as there's no line the service is fast. You have to place your order through a piece of paper marking everything you want even if it's only one item. The prices are a little costly but that just seems to be businesses across California nowadays.“

“I heard about this spot because every place I tried in and around my area hasn’t matched boiling crab to me especially their Shebang sauce but I will say their food was a delight! Their sauce for their seafood was spicy good but I’ll take Shebang sauce over theirs because it leaves a taste on your palate wanting more. I will say these guys food was tasty, portions were perfect and it was fulfillin to my stomach which I tried to taste what I wanted on the menu and I enjoyed every bite. Service was a 5 star because the servers were attentive ready to serve and that for me was impressive. I’m definitely going back to try more on their menu.“

“Chicken was very tender & delicious. I loved that they offered okra (came with some shrimp too). Pot stickers were just ok. The kitchen is open late (think she said 12:30am). We ate there about 9:30pm after a flight home, and there were plenty of other tables eating late on a Sunday night. Full bar & beer on tap. Great late night spot & veggie options.

Parking: We got there late, and the parking lot nearby was free at the time (after 8pm?). There's also street parking.“

“Popped in this new place on a recently extra-hot day. We ordered fish’n’chips and the Baja tacos. They use a gluten-free pea flour batter (if I recall), and it’s a nice touch. I didn’t miss the gluten at all. The place has a full bar too. They were showing a baseball playoff game on one of 2 or 3 TVs. Will definitely go back and try some other menu options.“

“Great lunch special. Fish was so fresh and sweet esp compared to a few other places in the area ?, def fresher than I’ve been able to get at the grocery stores. Shocked by how perfectly grilled the salmon was, rareish and soft on the inside with a good crust on the outside. Portions were huge, including the ginger/wasabi side dish. Server was super attentive and kept our water glasses full.“

The menu is expanded but still simple, good cocktails. The food has definitely improved a couple of levels and the prices are great for what you get. Awesome, friendly staff that wants you to have a great time!“

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. “Fish N Chips was delicious. Fish was crispy and tasty on the outside. Flaky and hot on the inside. They were perfect (for me) with just a squirt of lemon on them! Fries were crispy and hot. “We went early & were in our favorite seating area for lunch. Ordered shrimp tacos & calamari. Calamari was crispy, lightly battered & not greasy. Great tartar & cocktail sauce. The shrimp tacos came fully dressed with a wonderful ranch sauce- Guacamole, beans & salsa on the side were home made & delicious. Portions are always very generous.
Great service all around. Erik (with a “k”) took excellent care of us & accommodated all our little quirks with a smile.

“We love this place! The quality of the ingredients they use is excellent and that's why their food is so good imho. It's always a treat and the staff is so well acquainted with the menu they can help you order if you are not sure. We will definitely go again and again!“

“This place is a little overrated, some things are good, some are not.

So the cons:

-The tortillas and chips are pretty weak. If you use cheap gmo Guerrero tortillas, it's an automatic loss of a point for me. You have la Palma tortillas around the corner, La Finca and Mi Rancho close by. So, for what they charge for tacos, they should be handmade, but good quality at minimum. They can work on the chips, too.

-Fish tacos were alright. Nothing memorable, but a nice portion. Better tortillas and more veggies, please.

-They dont have a happy hour. While everyone has happy hours, they don't, so I'd rather go elsewhere during these times.

-Many things are overpriced. $3.50 for oysters. Come one, this is not a waterfront location.

-Service was ok, nice people but understaffed. The host was my server, my bar tender, and my chef. Didn't check on me the entire meal and only one other other table ordering food. Only one other guy in the back washing dishes.

My family is coastal Pacific Mexican, so my standards are high. I wouldn't call this an authentic experience, but it is as close as it gets in the mission.

“I came here with my relatives and we came specifically for the raw marinated crab. It was pretty good, but slightly too spicy for me ? I thought it would taste a little more salty. Anyways the Jjajiangmyeon was really good thought, but i don’t remember if there was yellow radish or not, but there was kimchi. The clams were good, but there was a lotttt of sauce and was veryyy thick lol. The service was pretty good ? The atmosphere kinda reminds me of a small canto dimsum restaurant lol and it’s pretty small so you have to wait a little during busy hours. Overall, I enjoyed it and it was a nice experience.

Parking: If you park far and your legs aren’t good then it would be pretty bad because of all the hills there.“

“We tried the classic fish & chips for lunch. They used a swai filet. It came with a side of fries & a kale salad. The fish was very good but the batter was slightly thick in some areas. Both my husband & I ordered the 3 pieces since we didn't know how big they were & they were large pieces. We couldn't finish them & took some home. The batter stayed crispy when we reheated & had it as part of our dinner. It was worth it for $12.50.“

“I really enjoyed my meal there last night. Ordered the vegan combo with the gluten-free teff injeera. The only thing I had to send back were the side order of mushrooms. I requested little or no oil and the dish was drowning in oil. They took it back, no problem and removed the item from my bill. I will go back!“

The food and service are excellent.

They serve gnocchi 3 ways. We opted for the creamy pesto sauce. The gnocchi was cooked to perfection and the sauce was out of this world.

We also had the chicken parmesan. This is a dish I cook at home and it's a big hit with the family, but I have to say that Buona Italia's sauce was so good, I wish I could replicate it.

For dessert we had home-made cannoli and it was probably the best we've had.

Our server, Arturo, was super friendly and helpful. I wanted to pull up a chair and invite him to join us.

“Love this place, I keep coming back. They have a standout Beef Chow Fun with generous beef and strong wok hei. I always order the Minced Pork and Mei Cai which I miss from Singapore, and feel is pretty uncommon for Chinese restos in SF. We've also tried many other items - clams with egg, rock cod and tofu claypot, etc - all homey and delicious.

The uncle who runs the place is pretty friendly and charming to EVERYONE too (also uncommon for Chinese restos for non-Chinese speaking diners)!“

“The old Ketch Joanne's is now Ketch Harbour. My husband and I went for our 35th Anniversary. We had the best meal and best time. Food was excellent . So tasty. The restaurant has new interior that fits with the area. The restaurant is very clean. With a view of the docs it's an excellent spot and not as expensive as every place around there. So nice to jave this restaurant back.“

“Absolutely incredible crabs. I'm not very experienced with crab restaurants, but everything here was delicious. I wish I lived in the bay area to go again some time! Only issue was a mostly vegetarian friend got the mango salad and didn't expect it to be 90% mango and 10% greens. Everything else was pure perfection.“
