“Defintely Poke'd Out after the lunch. Ordering method is broken down nicely and listed down well in the menu. It goes like Base + Poke + Mix-in + Sauce + Add-ons. I have chosen the medium sized bowl where I got 4 scoops of poke instead of mentioned 3, all the sizes get additional scoop as complementary. Chose couple of miso shrimp and spicy crab(it was spicy indeed) scoops. Tofu medley was not that great, tough to satisfy vegetarians or vegans. I felt the quantity was overwhelming for one person, small would be more than enough. Priced around $20 for the medium, it's on the expensive side, but the diverse selections make it recommendable. Note that it’s only a to-go restaurant.“

“FAMILY OWNED & DELICIOUS! It’s made to order and you get a lot of food!! They host you like you’re in their own home. Which is rare and deserves more than 5 stars. The BBQ chicken is perfectly cooked over veggies and rice. I regretted not ordering double Mac salads because it was the first thing to go. Thank you guys, see you next week!“

“We have enjoyed Elia about 4 times now for dinner. Overall, very nice upscale Greek cuisine. Main dishes are generously portioned. Love the grilled artichoke and dolmathes appetizer and the salads are solid. Souvlaki was well cooked, someone in our party has always ordered this and not been disappointed. Mousakka was ok - seemed baked a bit too long and was overly salted. Lobster tail pasta delicious; generous lobster portion and a very rich sauce.

Service: 3 of our 4 visits have had great service - solid and attentive but on our last visit, the service wasn't the same as the prior 3 times; the main server didn't come by all that frequently and the adjunct servers had to be reminded of a couple of small requests we made (drink refill, bread refill).“

“Our take-out fish and chips were disappointing. Chips were undercooked and not crisp. The fish under the brown hard crust was OK but the whole presentation was unlike any light crispy dish our family has ever had as fish and chips. Not a repeat meal for us.“

The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back. “The food they serve is actually fresh, not the frozen type, but they do make it upon request. For example, I love fresh diced grilled country potatoes, not that stringy stuff you add water to to cook. Some people like it so just ask for hash browns and they will cook it for you.

“We love Burmese food. For years, if we wanted Burmese food, we would have to drive at least 30-40 min to SF or South Bay, so having Burma Spice in our neighborhood is a dream come true!

Burma Spice hosted our daughter's high school graduation luncheon on May 23rd and we couldn't have been happier! We had about 30 guests in a separate area in the back of the restaurant. Kham and Raymond were so nice and helpful in planning the menu for our gathering.

Everything was served family style. We ordered
- Tea Leaf Salad- the perfect ratio of fermented tea leaves and ingrediants.
- Samosas- light, crispy, and so flavorful
- Nan Gyi Thoke- the noodles were perfectly cooked, not mushy, and the curry was creamy and delightful.
- Basil Lemongrass Chicken- fresh basil, and lemongrass really made this dish a popular topic.
- Pumpkin Veggie- Nice ratio of pumpkin and other veggies, very hearty.
- Kebat Lamb- savory, packed full of rich spices, the onions add so much texture and flavor as well.
- Jasmine Rice

Plus plenty of yummy tropical cocktails for the adults.

They set up a little table for the cake, and some graduation items that we brought. They really went out of their way to make our celebration comfortable.

Everything was in generous portions, fresh and expertly prepared. My guests raved about the food and service. Some of my guests had never tried Burmese food before and now in their meal rotation.

We didn't realize that we had stretched into their rest period between lunch and dinner because they were so gracious about not rushing us.

I highly recommend Burma Spice in Redwood City for any meal or occasion. The restaurant is such a gem in our neighborhood and the service is friendly.“

“Highly recommend coming for the Dungeness crab without having to venture out to San Francisco 🫪

We tried the peppercorn crab. The batter was perfect, it was white (meaning the oil is new). Again, I don’t like using my fingers to eat, but PPQ makes it easy. They give you a bib, sanitizing wipes, and napkins to keep your fingers clean. We will be back to try the salted egg and curry options 😊

We also enjoyed their beef papaya salad prior to the crab. It was refreshing and delicious. In addition, the garlic noodles are highly recommended too. To finish it off, we ordered a bowl of white jasmine rice to eat with the crab seasoning.

There is also a parking lot, but look for parking further away if none is available instead of circling around. It’s a pleasant walk around the nice neighborhood.“

“I ate there last week for the first time in several years. The menu is large and many different styles of food. I had the Prime Rib and it was EXCELLENT. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.“

“Tried Roja in Los Altos on 8/25. We had a group gathering, dinner was very good. Menu selection is good. We brought our own wine and there was a corkage fee. The restaurant is not too big but we had 12 of us and was able to fit.

The rib eye dish was excellent. The duck breast also looks very good. Overall we had a good time. The food and service were very good.“

“Clay Oven is our go-to Indian restaurant. Food is really delicious! We usually order a couple of Chicken Tikka Masala (mild and med spicy), Rogan Josh, Naan and some rice. I like their mango lassi too. The staff is really friendly and kind to our kids. Highly recommended!“
