“What a hidden gem! We recently went to PPQ in Millbrae with our family to celebrate a birthday and everything was so delicious.

Must order: the Imperial Rolls, Fried Peppercorn Tofu, Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Wings, their famous CRAB, Garlic Noodles, String Beans and Crab Fried Rice. To top it all off, they even serve Mitchell’s Ice Cream for dessert!

It’s the perfect spot for a family style dinner with something for everyone.

The owner, Tin, is absolutely a delight. He is so genuine and welcoming. The service was amazing from start to finish.

We had such a wonderful time and will definitely be back! I already miss their imperial rolls and fried tofu!!“

“I ate there last week for the first time in several years. The menu is large and many different styles of food. I had the Prime Rib and it was EXCELLENT. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.

Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. The "award winning" fish and chips were great! Calamari too. Great food, generous portions & good view of our boats. Staff was fun too. Cheers!“

“Solid Korean and Chinese food Restaurant. My husband and I favorite food is their spicy marinated raw crab so addicting and delicious. We usually order the crispy garlic scallops, HK noodles and crispy garlic string beans. So far majority of their food has been really good and tasty. All the staff are friendly and courteous. The owner is husband and wife they are so friendly and very welcoming so pleasant to talk to. Their portion is big“

“From the super nice lady that took my order over the phone, to the friendly person at the register, I was impressed by the amazing service.

The food was tasty and fresh- especially all the veggies in our curry and garlic chicken - big pieces of fresh broccoli, carrot, and cabbage. The yellow curry was my favorite. I think I will ask for extra garlic on the garlic chicken next time- I love a lot of garlic.

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. We will come back because it was such a nice treat. One of those places that makes me love living in California!“

The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. “Total hole-in-the-wall dump, but this mom-and-pop spot is a local gem. The lady taking orders was very friendly and actually surprised when we said we wanted to dine in. Since they mostly do takeout orders, we were the only table eating inside. Many asian familys came in to pick up togo orders and to me that is a green flag. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the cooking is great. The walnut shrimp was fried perfectly, and the steamed pork with salted fish was exceptional. They cook that old school Cantonese style. Defy the looks and eat here—I'll absolutely be back!“

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

Did take a while so know that it is a whole dining experience - not just a quick meal out to eat. I got the Saba no Shioyaki grilled and liked that better than the sushi my partner got. The tempura was amazing and so was the Age Dashi Tofu appetizer!“

Generous self serve salsa bar, delicious Chipotle, Verde, pickled jalapeños and carrots, and spicy peppers and mango salsa (I miss the spicy cucumber salad they used to have all the time. The vegetarian options are good, sometimes just all right, but they are very consistent and everything is very fresh. I can make a whole side dish out of their salsa bar while I wait for my order, which makes this my favorite taqueria in town. The one star is missing from my review in atmosphere, only because it's usually quite loud so I only do to-go. I've only sat inside to eat once or twice. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind, even with language barriers. Never gotten my order wrong“
