Dumpling Era 思乡水饺 Reviews
Lamb soup noodles were excellent.
Pork and shrimp dumplings were ok.
Tendon cold dish was disappointing (bite into a frozen piece of tendon)
Scallion, egg wrap. Disappointing. wrap was too thick, where's the chives. Egg was fried and over cooked.

Dumpling Era is a true hidden gem and hole-in-the-wall treasure. The place is loud as staff turn dough into fresh, house-made noodles, never using store-bought ones. The interior is industrial and sparse, mainly catering to take out. The food is authentic, great, and absolutely a 10/10 with not a single miss. Many dishes are delicious, including the beef knife cut noodles, shao mai, beef roll pancake, pork shrimp dumplings with chives, pan fried Shanghai dumplings, pork dumpling with green chives, Shanghai soup dumplings, pork potstickers, spicy beef tendon, spicy wontons, and spicy green beans. The honey flavored grapefruit drink is also very good, tasty, and refreshing. Everything is always fresh.
However, to-go orders can sometimes be inconsistent, especially with fried items which tend to get soggy in the box. The fried mashed taro cake had a shell that was a bit tough to chew. Some feedback includes a wish for the cucumber in the beef roll to be sliced thinner for easier biting and chewing. Overall, the food is decent, not bad, and underrated, with a sense of love and authenticity in every bite.
