“One of the best places to get food late night in Millbrae. We've come here a couple times the night before our flight out of SFO and every time it's delicious and the bartender has always been super friendly and poured a great glass of wine.“

“The food is off the charts good! Like we wanted to come back again the next day.
The momos are delicious and spicy and so unique.
The sapna (I think) is the tofu dish and it's so delicious.
My only beef with the place is that the rice on the side is relatively small, but at least it's not too crazy expensive.
We had three appetizers, three mains and two rounds of garlic naan for 4 people and it was perfect“

“Absolutely loved this place! The food is outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The restaurant is spotless, and the ambiance is just perfect: calm, comfortable, and really inviting. It's the kind of spot where you can actually relax and enjoy a meal without the noise and chaos you find elsewhere.
What really sets it apart is the ordering experience — you order right from your phone, which is both seamless and genuinely fun. It feels modern without being gimmicky. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food in a clean, peaceful setting. Will definitely be back!“

“Arrived around 1:45 on a Friday and got seated right away for 1. Wanted to get their jian bing but ended up craving something warm and soupy since it was chilly and raining outside so I got the three flavor dumplings with soup (pork, shrimp, and chive)!
Broth is super light and comforting, dumplings were chewy and had a rly good amount of filling, so even though the dumplings came less than u would get if u didn’t order it with soup (I believe 8 vs 10), it filled me up well! Price was super reasonable as well, only cost around $13 with tax and tip. Would come again if I’m around the area for something light and quick!“

“My family comes here or does take out once every month or so. Favorites are the char siu and duck which just hits the spot. Service is truly exceptional from being greeted at the door to attentive table service throughout. They are so welcoming to my child and that level of attention and care (consistently) is just so rare these days. Just a wonderful place all around.“

“I was traveling from out of town and had never been to a dumpling shop. This place did not disappoint! Got the combo to try various styles. Was reasonably priced and the flavors were on point.
If you haven't been you really should go!“

“Homey hole in the wall. Generous portions, limited menu. Martabak was dry (regret not getting the roti instead). Laksa was rich and creamy with flat rice noodles (I’m used to the round rice noodles for laksa). Chicken satay was the highlight - tender flavorful and perfectly charred. Shrimp glass noodle is good if you want a lighter flavour (mostly sesame oil).“

“The rolls were thin with a great texture and the meats in them very flavorful. This is a good choice for takeout that's light and satisfying. Be prepared to wait because everything is fresh and made to order. The soy sauce is house made and flavorful as well. I tried making these at home and they came out ok but very labor intensive. Get them here without all the fuss.“

“Always like their old type seaweed pork/ shrimp wonton. Last week 6/2 ordered same dishes wonton soup was totally different- most fillings of wonton were outside not inside filling 🙃 lol 😆
The other two noodles were tasty 😋 and very good looking 👌“

“Great dumpling restaurant, reminded me of going to dim sum, but with larger portions! They had a large selection marked with a green dot for Vegan. 💚
Absolutely loved the bean curd salad, the garlic noodles, the veggie bun, and the red bean pancake!
Super duper nice staff, took really good care of us!“

“Good food!!! Tucked in a corner at Westlake Daly City but dont let the location fool you. This place is always packed with people. Come hungry if you plan to go!!!“
“Frozen brisket like a Korean BBQ place, you fill the bowl up as much as you want and add any veggies you want. They take the bowl and let you choose which sauces/fresh garlic/ seasoning you want on it and throw it on a flat top grill with a bowl full if noodles. It's great for the price. I would pay $50 for this at a Korean BBQ place“

“Excellent HK style Cafe food. Rare to find this kind of attention and preparation these days. Best Baked Pork Chop over Rice in the SF Bay Area!“
“I had the beef tapa on the first visit and it was amazing! I felt that I was really getting what I was paying for. The next visits, we ordered the bangus sisig and burger steak and as usual, it was great!
The staffs were very kind and accommodating on every interaction I had with them which just make every experience I had with then very positive.
I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!“

“Ordered delivery for Chicken and Cabbage bowl with extra chicken + green smoothy. It was so DELICIOUS! As a healthy eater and meal prepper I struggle to find healthy eats while traveling. This had the perfect blend of healthy and tasty. I am also glad I went with extra chicken (a single serving wouldn’t have been enough). If you are looking for a protein rich meal I recommend adding on. I would say with the extra chicken serving. This will now be my go-to place for delivery.
Vegetarian options: Tofu option.“

“I saw someone sharing this dish and that’s what made me order it. But omg this is a HUGE Portion. It actually says serves 1-2. It is delicious! Not as spicy as it looks. Full of assorted seafood and some thinly sliced pork. The noodles texture is PERFECT. The proprietor offered me a takeout container immediately, but I’m going to surprise her with how little will be left by the time I’m done. lol roll me out of here!“

“(2025) Fresh food; Good Customer Service by Wayne and just met the owner, May (friendly, too); and the restaurant is clean and welcoming as well and the menu has varieties, too. (for vegans also).
(2026) Best (Rock Cod fillet) sweet and sour I’ve ever tried - will definitely come back in this place.
Roasted Peanuts is being served while you settled in before ordering dine-in.“

“Found this little gem while on a layover at SFO and the food was amazing! I had the Curry Sliced Beef Ramen and it was probably the best I’ve had. The ordering technology threw me off but I got over it quickly, it is 2025. As far as atmosphere…..just a bunch of people quietly eating lunch. I only gave the service 2 stars because it is an online order and someone just deeply it off at the table. Would definitely recommend though.“

“The fact that it is all gluten free is amazing. I haven’t been able to have a bahn mi since I found out I have celiac. I ordered one today and it was so good. The customer service was great. I love this place and definitely recommend! I will be back to try more of their menu items“

“Food is super fast, just like Hong Kong. The Portuguese fish baked rice is really good. They call it Lisbon fish rice here. We also ordered ox tongue spaghetti, the sauce is just okay, it was supposed to be tomato sauce but it was more like a gravy. I've had better of this one.
If you're craving Hong Kong food, this is a decent choice. There aren't that many on the peninsula.
The service is so fast that they were literally taking the plate out from under me while I was still trying to finish the last bite. At least they didn't pull the spoon out of my hand 😂“

“My favorite style of food growing up is Hong Kong cafe style, so to have Inshou close to home is a treat! A regular order is the baked spaghetti bolognese and brick toast (with condensed milk and peanut butter). Topping it off with a HK milk tea makes it perfect! The staff are super friendly and they remember us, and we’ve hardly ever had to wait for a table. Service is fast as well.“

“I’m kind of stunned to find Japanese food this good, for this price.. in an airport? In SAN FRANCISCO??!
I got a yuuge bowl of Curry Chicken (see pic) for $15 🤯
Absolutely delicious, fresh-tasting w big chunks of hand cut chicken. Two people could share this, for real. I could barely finish it.
And I added a bowl of probably the best tasting miso soup I’ve ever had.. for $3.50.
Fuhgetabout it! I mean the next place over wanted $23.00 for a frikkin hamburger.
The fish looks really fresh too, also very affordable. Wanted to try it, but I’m so full I just can’t.“

“Dumpling era had authentic dumplings, noodles, and other Chinese dishes.
The sheng jian bao was yummy, but a little too thick IMO. I prefer the one in dumpling home.
The egg and chives pancake was crispy and had a sweet sauce.
The tofu sheet noodles were my favorite. The sauce had numbing spice.
The shredding pork in garlic sauce had woodear and bamboo shoots. The bamboo gave it a good funky flavor that I enjoyed.
We also got the shrimp and chives water boiled dumplings.
The service was friendly and they didn't rush us inspite of the fact that we were seated for a long time.
We also got the stir fried pea shoots. I loved these.
The spicy sauce at the table was very hot and reminded me of a momo chutney.“
