“Frozen brisket like a Korean BBQ place, you fill the bowl up as much as you want and add any veggies you want. They take the bowl and let you choose which sauces/fresh garlic/ seasoning you want on it and throw it on a flat top grill with a bowl full if noodles. It's great for the price. I would pay $50 for this at a Korean BBQ place“

“I had the beef tapa on the first visit and it was amazing! I felt that I was really getting what I was paying for. The next visits, we ordered the bangus sisig and burger steak and as usual, it was great!

The staffs were very kind and accommodating on every interaction I had with them which just make every experience I had with then very positive.

“I've been a fan of Jackie's recipes on Instagram for a while, so was happy to finally have the chance to check out her restaurant.

I went on a Thursday afternoon for a late lunch and it was more crowded than expected! Most of the tables were taken, though there was still plenty of room on the counters. A good number of to-go orders too.

I decided to go for the Shaking Beef, which was ready pretty quickly. They prepare it right at the counter (similar to Sweetgreen or Mixt). I loved all the flavors and appreciated how fresh the ingredients were. One minor critique is that the beef was cubed and pretty well done when I went — not sliced / medium well, which is how it was shown in some of the images. It still tasted good, though not exactly what I expected.

Overall, I'd recommend this place for a nice casual lunch/dinner if you're in the mood for Asian-inspired sweetgreen but better 😆 will check it out again the next time I'm in town!“

“This place was great! Our table shared the pork xiao long bao, crispy dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, and cucumber salad. Everything tasted delicious. We had a bit of a wait outside the restaurant along with other groups and the restaurant was pretty much full, so I suspect it’s usually busy!“

“Arrived around 1:45 on a Friday and got seated right away for 1. Wanted to get their jian bing but ended up craving something warm and soupy since it was chilly and raining outside so I got the three flavor dumplings with soup (pork, shrimp, and chive)!

Broth is super light and comforting, dumplings were chewy and had a rly good amount of filling, so even though the dumplings came less than u would get if u didn’t order it with soup (I believe 8 vs 10), it filled me up well! Price was super reasonable as well, only cost around $13 with tax and tip. Would come again if I’m around the area for something light and quick!“

“Been coming since they first open and I know and read it’s hit or miss on service depends on the day and person working but for my years of experience I’ve always enjoyed it. As long they get the usual food I order right and on time, on top of that food and dessert is good than this place is a four star for me. They don’t need to check on us or serve us like kings or queens because it’s a Hong Kong dessert house people. It’s not Gary danko with a $$$$ sign. The price is good. I usually get the egg puff which is better than all egg puff location even eggette. The HK milk tea is good but not as good as honk kong, fried garlic chicken wings, soy sauce wings,ham egg sandwich and mix fruits. Oh their green tea ice cream is a no no but vanilla is fine. They use the same batter for the waffle as the egg puff which is so yummy! Moving on that’s my usual order which has kept me going here for years. Wish they open earlier but I know they cater to the late people.“

Laksa was rich and creamy with flat rice noodles (I’m used to the round rice noodles for laksa). Chicken satay was the highlight - tender flavorful and perfectly charred. Shrimp glass noodle is good if you want a lighter flavour (mostly sesame oil).“

Be prepared to wait because everything is fresh and made to order. The soy sauce is house made and flavorful as well. I tried making these at home and they came out ok but very labor intensive. “My mom, my son and I went to Saluhall SF to have lunch. Tried checking out the different restaurants. Fortunately, we found Izzy & Wooks. Cheryl was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered Inay’s BBQ Chicken Bowl and The Manong Sandwich along with Calamansi for beverage. We all love the packaging. Very artistically done and the foods were all delectable. Quite interesting is the fact that they put bitter melon on the sandwich. My son loved it! Calamansi with mint was good, too. Chicken was yummy along with the kimchi. Cheryl even gave us complimentary lumpias for us to taste. That was so very kind of her. She was friendly and has great customer service. I recommend this restaurant to you, guys if you are in the area. Cheryl also said that they are intending to also have halo-halo in the future. We told her we will be back. The ordering technology threw me off but I got over it quickly, it is 2025. As far as atmosphere…..just a bunch of people quietly eating lunch. The food was delicious! The service was amazing as well! The food was brought out family style and in a timely manner. They consistently did rounds offering more drinks and ensured all of our needs were met! They also cut and served our wedding cake at no extra charge!
