Food is excellent. Initially, service was lacking, but it got better. I think they need a different manager. Until then, I’m not going back.
First time that I tried Tea leaf salad. What a treat. The food qas exceptional although it seemed a mixture of Southeast Asian dishes rather than pure Burmese. The roti (Malaysia paratha) was so good that we got a 2nd order. Great, attentive service. Reasonable prices. The cocktails were excellent.
I love everything about Teakwood. The food of course is fabulous., The service is always friendly, well informed about the food, wine and cocktails, and they are always attentive. Because it is a shared plate lunch we were ordering one item at a time. They have the timing of when to take our order and when the perfect amount of time had lapsed before serving the next dish. making it a very pleasant lunch with time to talk and relax.
