Friendly staff. Huge portions that taste terrific. You can ask for less rice and more macaroni salad on the plate lunches. Have bought take out plates of the Chicken Katsu and each one served 2-3 people. Love the Pork Lau Lau & the kahlua pork, offered with or without cabbage. The only thing they lack is island deserts. They have boxes of imported cookies.
Ever since we went to Hawaii we’re always on the hunt for good, authentic Hawaiian food and this place nailed it! The chicken katsu was crispy yet moist and tender. I also ordered spam musubi which was delish. The portions are huge and it’s reasonably priced, especially for California. We will definitely be back.

Found this place actually on yelp, parking is a little challenging but worth it. Food is decently priced and very very very good! The lady in the front Hana, is amazing! She was able to accommodate us on a last minute order on a Sunday with about 70 pieces of musubi! Will be returning here in the future. ??Wheelchair accessibility: Single story, easy to enter and exit

Family-run business. Lovely people. Stopped here with our DIL who grew up in Hawaii. She felt the food was authentic to the island and tasted great. I had the shrimp sandwich and loved it!Kid-friendliness: Welcoming to children. Highchair available.

I ordered the BBQ mixed plate for 14$ and also a BBQ chicken musubi. The plate had BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, BBQ short ribs, macaroni, rice and salad. A fountain drink was extra costing.The service was quick and the prices were under 15$ for entrees. The BBQ beef was the best part, very flavorful and wish I ordered a full plate of it, the BBQ short ribs were mainly just bones and chewy. The BBQ chicken was just plain chicken, nothing really special there. This place is comparable to Ono hawaiian BBQ but less greasy, which is a good thing.There is a bathroom located here, down a long hallway on the side of the kitchen area. It was okay for a quick last minute stop to eat.
