“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

I have eaten everything on the menu and appreciate its consistency. Everything on the menu is great to share, and the drinks are a ticket to a boozy Shangri-La. The Cuban Sidecar is my favorite.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. “Stopped by Monday night and was happy to see my favorite bartender, Strong from the Old Pro is now working here. Sat at the bar and ordered the "Shaking Beef". Food was delicious and the service was even better. Highly recommend.“

We shared the Grilled Octopus, Tostones with a delicious Mojo Verde Sauce, and the beef Tallow French fries. They have a beautiful courtyard where we enjoyed the Whiskey Ginger Cove and Sweet & Smokey cocktail. Cocktails and food were full of flavor and perfect for the evening. “This was my fourth trip back to wild onion, and the quality of the experience is consistently terrific. Staff could not be nicer and more accommodating, food is yummy and interesting with choices that make even brunch more exciting. The Bloody Mary was divine. I've gone there for lunch meetings, because the noise level is low enough that you can hear each other comfortably, and while it's an open layout, I never feel a lack of privacy. And the free valet parking, may they never discontinue that, makes it so easy to get in on time, and be stress-free. I like that the mood is casual enough that I don't feel I need to get dressy, but stylish enough that I make an effort. If you go for brunch, definitely get the Nueske's bacon, it's the best America produces and it's hard to get here in California. Bon appetit!“
