“Went 1/2/26. We knew this place when it was called Mojo’s. Mojo’s was not a good place. A little shady. But Johnny’s is under new ownership. The inside has been completely redone. Better lit. More open. Friendlier vibe. Security. Lots of TV’s with sports. Several electronic dart boards and pool tables. The night we went had a DJ. Bartender (Kim) was great. Not her normal bar. Usually at Johnny’s Newark location. But still great. The new makeover is fairly new. Kitchen is not finished so no food yet, but Kim said it was coming soon. Since this is much closer to our house than driving into Newark, this might have to be our new local watering hole. Maybe lucky for us it’s not well known that it has reopened. Glad someone took it over and made it a place everyone can enjoy and feel safe. Trying to spread the good word with this review as Johnny’s deserves new opportunities with their new look.“

“Kinda my favorite place til recently. Waiter F’d blamed me. 4 dined, we gave our order. 1 person changed their order, so 3 meals ended up being the same, then there was mine. They ended changing my order instead of the other person, he argued with me until he realized he messed up, never said sorry, and then still got my order wrong by cook my salmon well instead of veggies, which they forgot to add, but I paid anyways, to go.“

“The food was great, ambiance was very nice as well as the service . James K was a phenomenal server and even cooked our food for us when he didn’t have to, he explained the menu clearly especially since it was our first time there and gave a brief description of the meats we were eating. 10/10 highly recommend and will be back again!“
