“Drinks were strong and delicious. Bartender was attentive and helpful. I got a half order of Caesar salad which was surprisingly delicious. Got a pecan Old Fashioned which was good, but on the sweet side. Then got an Oban 14 year scotch. Definitely was on the pricier side. But very convenient.“

“Ate here a few weeks ago while family was in town, and was very happy with the experience. Just barely ordered before Happy Hour ended (or was it Super Happy Hour? I don't recall!). While I wasn't really all that hungry, I opted for the fish and chips, because it's my goto for testing this type of place on a first visit. It was HUGE fillet, with crispy breading that was properly fried. I almost couldn't finish it, which is odd for me. Could have used a lot more lemon, as one piece doesn't do much, but that's such a minor issue. The service was great, even though our server was literally on her first shift, and being shadowed by another staff member. All in all it was a great experience.“

“This place was my to go to bar for the music, and dance but I think that DJ is no longer there on Saturday nights. It's not too bad on Fridays, but I like Saturdays better. This was my second year visiting this bar for the new years. It was pretty cool. The bartenders were quick and efficient.“

Fred's Place Bar • $

“This bar has turned from more of just to hang out to. It's my family. These people are so kind and nice and I love everyone except for Chang. Pauli read Sarah Amber all of them are awesome all the regulars I know they give you the shirt off their back no questions asked. So it is more than just a bar. It is the place that is just a complete hidden gem and I worked down the street for years and I was always scared of the place because I thought what kind of Degens go here and then I start going there and I found kind of a second family if you will. Everyone is so kind everyone will do what ever you need your own short on money during short on money everyone buys each other drinks. There's always hugs and yell, cheap kisses and everything else I mean it it is a legit family, so I can't say enough good things about this place people that bow shit are idiots or just don't get the way a dive bar as sidebar for god sake's. But it is one of the best ones I have ever experienced in my life and I have shunned off every single other one because this is where I belong, these are people I need to be around. so come join it come support the business because if people don't support the business, it's gonna go away before we know it and there's certain people that work there that are not the best humans and are going to cost the business to Freemans go out of business I mean that's all there is to it so just come out. Enjoy it hang out the back patio. They just replace the whole awning out there today. Just a great group of people I I mean I cannot say enough good things about it between the owner and the employees and everything else you know, there are all kinds of hugs given out constantly“

“My husband and I visited Shoreline Lake for a quick bike ride the other weekend, and I was surprised at home much there is to do in the area! Shoreline Lake seems like a great date or lunch spot, where you can go on a hike or do an activity, and then have a snack. There was free parking in front of the restaurant, and from there we were able to unload and explore the many trails around the lake. There's seating at the restaurant both inside and outside, and picnic tables near the restaurant if you bring your own food. The restaurant also had lockers and lake equipment rentals. For lunch, I had a chicken sandwich. The baguette was nice and the homemade chips were excellent. The flavors on the sandwich were just ok for me, so I would try the veggie burger next time. My husband had the breakfast sandwich, but my favorite part of the meal was the granola he got with it! Service was a little bit slow and there's not a ton of variety in the options, but the quality is good for the price. We will be back for a date another time. It also seems like a nice place to take family or out of town friends.“

“Writing this review as I sit finishing my wine after a full three delicious courses. I’m visiting a friend in Mountain View and had to fend for myself for dinner this evening. I couldn’t have picked a better place (apart from the Italian I discovered last night - but that’s totally different)! Do not miss the ribs wrapped in bacon to start, then I had melt in your mouth brisket as part of a plate (amazing corn bread!) and I just couldn’t resist the Nanana dessert despite feeling pretty full. Absolutely ace place. Yours truly, a London girl.“

“Our server JC was a standout. Even though he was the only one working the whole restaurant, he checked in frequently and had such a great attitude and enthusiasm. The rest of the staff also were eager to please. Brussel sprouts were delicious (if a little too sweet) and the burger was quite good. Good in between of nicer and casual kind of place as a hotel lobby restaurant.“

“I frequently attend happy hours here, and the beer selection is great. The bartenders are welcoming and go out of their way to make the service great. I ordered a NASA Spacebar pint glass for my beer and the bartender rinsed and iced the glass before carefully pouring my beer to the rim with the optimal amount of head.Attention to detail is on point here, and I'm glad for service like this.“
