“They were open on Christmas Eve at 8pm. I went through the drive-thru, the gal that took the order was very nice, patient with us as we had 3 orders. The wait was a few minutes, but the food was warm, yummy and correct! I'm not rating the atmosphere as I did not go in.“
“Place has good food. Good presentation and visual for the food. The restaurant is designed alot to accommodate a drive through experience. They have inside sitting but not alot of space. The area to order is pretty cramped. So, ordering with multiple ppl in line would be pretty uncomfortable. Best to do here is food through.“
“Delicious comfort food, beautifully located. I'm rating the service and atmosphere down since they outsource their ordering process in the restaurant to an app - this makes me use my phone even more and I wonder if next time they also ask me to grill the burger myself.Parking: Fills up on a weekend“
“At first coming in side we were not sure what to get but then we meet Ms Sindy here and she was very friendly and answer my questions about the menu and I ordered a BBQ bacon burger and for my boy a grilled chicken and some fries we love the food and the experience we had here I'm for sure recommend this place if you want a nice burger with fries“
“What a great discovery for me! I was waiting to order a sandwich close by, but it was taking too long. So, I walked over to Big Brothers Burgers and ordered the classic with fries. Wow! It was so huge yet delicious! Great service, and the ambiance was nice too. Highly recommend!“
“They don’t sell bowls but when I requested made me a custom chicken over rice bowl. The chicken was well cooked and mild flavored (maybe flavor the chicken a bit more) and the rice was delicious with their special in house garlic sauce. Definitely get extra garlic sauce, it’s wow!“
“BUSY! BUSY!Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese and friesDietary restrictions: They can somewhat meet theseParking: The Fremont location has zero parking. Suggest parking in the Costco lotKid-friendliness: Fairly kid friendly. Kids can get hats and there used to be a kids coloring page upon request“
“The serving staff are very friendly but lacking a little on the familiarity with the dishes. That's the only nitpick I can give Selby's.The flavor and technique totally justified the respect for Selby's approach to classic fine dining.“
“Great smash burgers for me, fast friendly and service and great sides...love the coleslaw and the mac-n-cheese. My kids love the chicken tenders and mac-n-cheese but these are adult friendly as well. Always able to grab food and table and beer and get the family fed! Hard to find a spot the whole family loves.“
“Great food, great service. We just had dinner here, and the service by Allen was the best service that we have had at Lazy Dog. He was awesome.Vegetarian options: They can make many of the dishes vegetarian. We had the tex mex salad without chicken, and it was great.“
“Chefs love it!!! I have the privilege of working with some amazing chefs. At work we do daily taste of many different food items, and needless to say the chefs are very passionate about what they prepare and how they prepare it. With major confidence, I have recommended Refuge to all of them without fear they would be disappointed. Most of them have accepted my suggestion and none of them had anything negative to say about the place. They all love the food and the beer selection, and they all keep coming back for more! Refuge is by far one of my favorite restaurants to go to. This is a place that everyone should try, you will not find a better pastrami sandwich anywhere in California.“
“We had a really nice lunch at Lazy Dog. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, the Korean ribeye bibimbap, and a couple of non-alcoholic drinks. Everything was fresh and tasted really good. Our waitress, Mary-Ann, was really fantastic: friendly, efficient, and caring. The restaurant is also nice and clean and pleasant. We will be back again.“
“The best burger that I ever had. Integrity 100%, which means consistency between first bite and the last bite. Balsamic onion has sourness, crispy bacon is strong, beef patty is not to fat, arugula has bitter to balance the fat, egg yolk is just a little bit running, bun is buttery and lots of seasame. Every thing about the burger is perfect.Onion rings is crispy but not oily. Fries are better than average. Wisconsin burger is also very good, mushroom are tender, bread is chewy but cut in half beforehand. A small complaint is that less sauce would be perfect.“
“These were the guys that took on In-N-Out after they turned them down for setting up franchises on the east coast. They have huge burgers, super fresh cut fries and their toppings, condiments and peanuts that you can eat until your food arrives. Love coming here after i’ve had a big day of dirt biking or other adventures and I need a big lunch!“
“I think this is one of the top hamburger chains. A burger made with fresh meat and vegetables, served with fries and a soft drink, will cost around $10. I regret that it is only available within California. Therefore, if you come to California, this is a must-visit store.Dietary restrictions: For those who are avoiding gluten, if you order protein style, the bread will be replaced with lettuce.Wheelchair accessibility: There are several seats available that are wheelchair accessible.“
“I loved the atmosphere! Comfortable couches, electric outlets, the piano! Food is alright: the salmon pasta was huge and the salmon yummy, the BLT sandwich had over fried bacon that was hard to chew, the pastry tasted good but was cold and a bit soggy. The Matcha latte used the syrup instead of actual matcha :(It's not bad for a college cafeteria but the prices are not justified“
“One of the best burger restaurants in Mountain View. I love how the theme of this restaurant is old fashioned making it feel like we traveled back decades ago. Yes, food is expensive is here, but it’s worth coming here and trying their stuff.Hickory Burger is delicious and the fries too. However, they only come in separate orders. I ended up staying here longer because of how good the atmosphere is. Also, love their selections of condiments like Honey Mustard and Chipotle Ketchup. The menu…they have so many types of burgers and chicken sandwiches! I didn’t even know that they serve Philly Cheesesteaks. Will be coming back here soon!“
“If you ever need a pick me up come here when Katelyn is working! She is a big beautiful ball of sunshine, brighter than the sun, with a smile that puts all the stars to shame! Katelyn is employee of the entire week, month, year, honestly all time.“
“I went last month in this very cousy donut and breakfast place; I’m surprised ? for the flavor in the donuts and in the breakfast ; I will recommend to everyone who loves donuts ? and great attention for the people who passionately work in there, thank you ?.“
“If you're craving a burger this is definitely the place to come to!! SO much variety and they make their own chips and provide free pickles which are very refreshing to add to your burger!! Went here for a dinner with friends before a comedy show and I love that they're open all day so we could head over for an early meal before our 7pm show in Santa Clara! The person taking the order was so friendly and the process is so easy with the huge menus - easy to read and with SO MANY choices - burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, tons of sides to pick from in different sizes. And their drink selections are great - I LOVE diet dr. pepper which many places don't serve so I was super happy!!! The drinks are a self serve which is super helpful. They don't leave out napkins but servers walking around are happy to provide extra for you when you ask. So you order - get a number - find a table (which there are many options with high tops, regular seating, bar seating, outdoor seating... The food comes out fairly quickly and it's DELICOUS!! We got the ABC Burger which has avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese! My friends got it and devoured it. They said it was really good... They also enjoyed their sweet potato fries! Love the waffle shape and they had different dips they provided which were delicious. I got the Havarti Shroom! SO GOOD - especially when you add in the pickles! Hubby got the Seared Ahi Tuna Sandwich which he also devoured - having the skinny crispy fried onions provided a lot of texture and flavor. I may have to get that myself next time. And we shared a side of onion rings - crispy - wasn't oily tasty with a super light batter. For a "side" they give you a lot... I also added pics from our first visit there when they first opened. I got the short rib grilled cheese sandwich! OMG DECADENT... I LOVED that sandwich and SO filling! Hubby went completely opposite and went healthy and got the falafel wrap which he enjoyed - was light and tons of veggies with the falafel. LOVE this place - service is great - friendly and fast. and FOOD and options! hands down the BEST!! I love they give you so many options - decadent to healthy!! Our go to for burgers and sandwiches and just American classics for SURE!!“
“It was absolutely delicious. My only pick is the cost of the food, but what do I expect as a visitor of Stanford. Anyways, I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, 5/5.The restaurant feels a lot like a street food place; a bit more hidden from the eyes of the public.“
“We were in and out in 20ish minutes. Busy time, busy place. The animal fries were perfect and that is the measure of any In-n-Out. The double-double burger was balanced and very good too. The strawberry milkshake was thick and rich in flavor. Everything I asked for was delivered. Great job!“
“This was a decent brewery with a very nice location. It was not busy when when we were there (Wednesday lunch) and service was fast. They have a lot of TVs. The beers on tap were fine. They didn't have a terribly wide selection but did a few things well. Not worth going out of the way specifically for the beer though, as a brewery aficionado. Food was also fine, we had the nachos. A good place to visit but the location seemed to be the biggest draw. It seems to have had several names over the years.“
“What a fantastic find and worth a visit! The ambiance is simple, very clean and incredibly friendly. The food is amazing we all had completely different dishes from pancakes to lunch to Bulgogi, all so impressive. Our meal was topped off with complimentary watermelon and grape dessert, what a wonderful touch. I haven't seen this special kind of service in the bay at a cafe. Excellent food and service!“
“My dog loves this place. Whenever I take her in she gets all excited. So I get her a lettuce tomato wrap hamburger. No roll no pickle no relish no nothing. I eat the lettuce and tomato and she eats the hamburger. boy is she happy. Just wish the meat was organic and wasn't full of salt. But such as life. I only take it in there he is really hungry. And I'm not going to feed her for many hours. It's a good snack for her“
“This place is a great find. Burgers are tasty, hot and taste fresh. Service is fine, I don't expect much from quick-bite spots like this other than fresh, hot food and very basic service: quick order turn around and friendly vibes. Dining area is spacious, definitely set up for quick bites. I kept muttering to myself, "this is so good" - so there you have it lol 4.5/5 Suggestion: get a trash bin with a bigger hole, it's quite small and hard to get everything through the current one.“
“This place was interesting. I got the black pepper burger and it was really good. I’ve never had that kind of burger before and it was super delicious. Also got some chicken and fries. Very filling. First time there and I would definitely go back to get the same burger. Keep up the good work. Follow my instagram fro more food adventure @jwardhooper22“
“Really good burger restaurant to go to! I like the atmosphere of this place since it seems very roomy. Hopefully, they can open more of their locations around where I live. Gotta go a bit down south for for this restaurant hahaI’m trying to save my appetite for dinner. So, I decided to order a mini burger with fries. Both taste really good especially the burger since it tastes really juicy. The service is great since they’re able to serve my food on time.I will comeback to try something bigger like the Super Burger and Garlic Fries. Also can’t forget the fountain drink or shake lol“
“I've always been an in n out guy. I'm staying at a hotel and there's a 5 guys nearby. I had it before. Although there's something about in n out, 5 guys is the real deal. I'm trying the low carb/no bun thing and 5 guys has the meat! Seriously, low carb at in n out is a disappointment. Not the case with 5 guys. It tastes like a real burger.“
“Paid pilgrimage to this fried chicken place. The 3 piece plate is great. I have 2 spicy, 1 original. With fries. It was great for fried chicken. They didn't go bad quick like other brands.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking is right outside of this joint.“
“Best F'n cheeseburger I have had in quite sometime. Reasonably priced but like gourmet. You can choose how you'd like them cooked and they do it perfectly. Mine was medium rare and incredibly juicy. Fries were outstanding and you can have a cold beer if you'd like. I heard that the milkshakes are amazing too so maybe next time I will try that.Came on Leap Day after running an errand and it was worth the stop. Would definitely make the trek back to Menlo Park for this gem. Give 'em some love!!Parking: If the parking is full, there are lots incredibly close you can use.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Freewheel, and I must say, it was an experience worth savoring. As a craft beer enthusiast, I was drawn in by the promise of a quality Hazy IPA, and I left with not only a contented palate but also a newfound appreciation for their culinary prowess.Let's start with the star of the show – the Hazy IPA. Freewheel has truly mastered the art of crafting a Hazy IPA that's a symphony of hops and malt. The beer poured with a beautiful, hazy golden hue and boasted a delightful aroma that hinted at the tropical and citrus notes within. Each sip was a journey through layers of flavor, from the initial burst of juicy fruits to the subtle undertones of pine. It's evident that the brewers here take pride in their craft, delivering a well-balanced and memorable brew that will keep me coming back for more. Now, let's talk about the food. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a revelation. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, succulent meat inside. The buffalo sauce had just the right amount of heat, providing a zesty kick without overpowering the other flavors. The sandwich was artfully assembled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a hint of blue cheese – a combination that elevated the dish to a gourmet level. What sets Freewheel apart is the seamless integration of their beer and food offerings. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to recommend beer pairings for the menu items. The synergy between the Hazy IPA and the buffalo chicken sandwich was particularly noteworthy – each bite complemented by a sip of the refreshing brew, creating a harmonious dining experience. The ambiance of the brewery added to the overall enjoyment. The rustic yet modern décor, combined with the hum of conversation and the occasional clink of glasses, created a convivial atmosphere that encourages patrons to linger and savor the moment. In conclusion, Freewheel is a gem for both beer aficionados and food enthusiasts. The Hazy IPA and buffalo chicken sandwich showcase the commitment to excellence that permeates every aspect of this establishment. I'll certainly be returning to explore more of their offerings and to bask in the delightful marriage of craft beer and culinary artistry. Cheers to Freewheel for a memorable experience!“
“Stopped by three times during my week stay in Palo Alto. Chill, laid-back bar with Pliny on tap. Why try anywhere else when you found something right up your alley? Will be back next time my travels bring me to Stanford. Didn’t have food but looks surprisingly good.“
“This a review of the Taiwanese Eats, part of a take out only place near RWC Costco. The purple rice Fan Tuan are great and the pig’s ears are problem the best in the Bay Area the at they slice it thin and with great sauce. The bento boxes are decent, but order from here for the fan tuan and Pg’s ears! Negligible parking, you just pick up so most people just do a quick wait on the street.“
“Great local diner where customers and staff know each other. Good simple, tasty food and great service. Country potatoes done well without unnecessary added extras so safe for my gluten free diet. My husband had the eggs florentine and enjoyed them thoroughly. Highly recommended. Great start to the day.“
“My wife and I have gone to this hidden gem restaurant several times. I took two friends for lunch today and both thought that the food was delicious. The BBQ is award winning! The portions are big as well. We got to meet Ryan the co-owner and pit master today who was very welcoming. I've posted pictures of the 3 St. Louis style ribs, brisket sandwich and caleb's cracklins. The BBQ plate orders come with choice of two sides and a roll. The sandwich comes with choice of one side.“
“Updating the review after they got back to me and explained what happened. The food is always good and is one of our favorite vegan restaurants around here. Hope they can update their ordering website when things like this happen and they have to close early.“
“Whether you are eating indoors with friends, or outdoors with your furry pet, this is a great place to eat! I have friends that are anti-vaxers and prefer the outdoors even though none of us have pets! The food is plentiful and very tasty! All of the Lazy Dogs are the same ... cookie cutter style. Kinda like going to a McDonald's where they are all similar.I like the fact that it's a place to schmooze with your friends and family in an atmosphere of conversations and eating. The service is good in an unhurried sort of way.“
“Five guys has been my most favorite burger restaurant for many years. And this one has been my go to after I moved here to Mountain View.I usually just order from online, head out to this place, and pick up my burger while it’s hot! It’s a very smooth process!“
“Went for lunch today and it wasn't too busy at noon so we were first in line to order and only one other couple behind us. Take note that because Paly High School is across the street at ~12:20 the kids came pouring into the restaurant. The line to order was now almost at the door. Our lunch was really good, we had a fried chicken sandwich and a steak sandwich made with a flank steak. The steak was a lot bigger than the roll.“
“Much better experience than the first time my husband and I visited. We ordered the same things we had the first time and the chicken on my salad and my husband’s burger patty were much fresher and didn’t taste spongy and frozen like before. Very happy with the improvements they’ve made. Definitely coming back!“
“Pretty good place for a beer and a burger. I had the burger panini and side salad and I highly recommend the side salad if you are tired of fries. Service for us was good and the food met expectations. I had the bread pudding for desert and it was pretty good.“
“Nice Casual atmosphere of a fast food chain with pretty decent food. My group tried the Chilli dog with cheese (hold the onions), The Cowboy, Chilli cheese Fries & some type of Corndog. We were all impressed by what we got and greatly enjoyed it. The chilli is all meat and had good flavor and the cheese was a sauce type. The fries were crispy and the corndog were fresh. Only 1 size soda which is basically a regular but free refills at drink machine. We Recommend getting 2 Dogs if you're really hungry as they're not Costco size or anything. They're the exact length of the 3 Hawaiian rolls they're served on.Very tasty tho and the guy working the counter was very patient and friendly with answering all our questions. We'll definitely be going back.“
“Don’t let the construction deter you! You need to park in the parking lot, get out of your car, and walk on the sidewalk around the construction. The construction guys will let you in to the area. You can then enter the rear entrance of Jake’s.“
“JIMMY V'S!!! One of my FAVORITE cafes to visit on Stanford Campus - they serve the most delicious breakfasts, lunch foods, and smoothies / shakes / drinks. Many of their foods that I have enjoyed include: Athlete Omelet, Norcal Scramble, Huevos Rancheros, Stanford Panini, Chicken Chestnut Salad Melt, and Olympian and Cardinal smoothies! Everything is so on point. All their omelets, paninis, sandwiches, smoothies, everything. I also always come back to the Olympian smoothie, which features apple juice, strawberry, banana, raspberry, peach, and low-fat yogurt. The people at Jimmy V's are literally some of the friendliest and warmest I've ever met - I always see them smiling and making conversation and connections with everyone. The inside of the Sports Cafe is lively with a strong community feel and Stanford school spirit, and it is also busy with students, professors, athletes - you name it! The red walls feature quotes like "Passion is Your Greatest Asset", "You Are Never Wrong To Do The Right Thing", and "Teams That Eat Together Play Together Win Together". Jimmy V's also has multiple HD TVs all around the cafe with different sports channels on. In addition, Jimmy V's has a huge outdoors seating area as well, with both sun umbrellas and natural shade from the large green trees. Jimmy V's is one of the best cafe's ever!!! I have loved everything I've ordered from them so far, and I can't wait to try more. Jimmy V's is also the perfect place for any kind of gathering - with friends, with professors, with sports teammates, or on your own! I am not surprised that it is one of the most well-loved, frequented, and beautiful cafés on campus. I would definitely recommend enjoying food from Jimmy V's!!!“
“2023 has been a strange year, somehow me and my good friend both found gainful employment. And said gainful employment is a 12 minute walk from each other. So when you and the guy you drink with happen to be work neighbors, it only makes sense to go bar hopping during your lunch breaks. They have a 8/10 burger here, plenty juicy, plenty cheesy. And the fries arent bad. the ranch is different but also not bad but might not be what you're completely used to. Service was super nice here though, but I wasnt the biggest fan of the beers, felt the one from oakland had too many hints of curry flavor which really threw me off. Feel this place would be bustling after work though. Like really packed with workers from all the nearby offices.“
“Been here twice now, the fries have been solid both times so always get those. We've tried the Chicago, Italian, and Kraut dogs, and the cheesesteak sandwich.Chicago dog is the best of the 3. Cheese steak is a good size. I wish they toasted their buns, everything was soft but I like crispy edges. Their milkshakes tastes like it's made from real ice cream and apple pie slices are large! The pie was cold so I don't recommend if you're craving hot apple pie right away. Luckily I live near by and we were able to reheat the pie and enjoy it at home“
“Good burger and fries. Seems clean and the food is fresh. Very casual atmosphere. Huge parking lot especially if you don’t mind walking a little bit. Tall ceiling makes it feel more spacious. There is a couple tables outside also.Kid-friendliness: Very children friendly.“
“I used to work at Five Guys many many moons ago and would make something ridiculous off the menu. I've thought about this concoction on occasion over the years and had been really craving it recently. Nicholas went out of his way to make this absolute ridiculousness for me. I don't think many other people would go out of their way to satisfy a craving like that. Give that man a raise. 5 stars. Will be coming back.“
“Always a tasty burger and fries. Today I ordered the Truffle Burger and added lettuce, with a side of fries and can of Sprite. They offered sauces and gladly shared some good BBQ sauce to dip the fries, and a few pickles to sample. Quick and affordable, Konjoe Burger has always been a good spot. Plus, solid service.“
