“A lovely meal. The chef is super creative in the use of vegetables and original sauces. Nice selection of wines by the glass, which our server was happy to let me taste before ordering. Highly recommend the cauliflower starter and the chickpea risotto, which were quite exceptional. The baked cod however was a bit too salty. And we needed to order some bread to cleanse our palate afterwards. They did offer to remake the fish which was thoughtful, but it would have interrupted the flow of our dinner at that stage. That said, it was a great experience overall. And don't skip the s'mores desert!“

“I didn't have super high expectations coming in, but their food blew me away. I would've given this 5 stars if it wasn't for their parking situation, but food and service was fantastic! Parking is a very small lot that you definitely have to wait for people to leave or find street parking on a busy street. We came for Sunday brunch around 11am and there was some people ahead of us that got quickly seated. We waited 5min before getting seated. I ordered just a side of egg & hash browns and my boyfriend got the French dip with clam chowder. The food came out pretty fast too! The clam chowder blew me away. It was so thick and creamy. It is arguably some of the best chowder I've had. They served it with salted crackers. The sunny side up egg was exactly what I expected but the hash browns were also amazingly delicious. It had a nice crisp to it and was more than I expected from them. I can't wait to come back to this little diner“

“Review is for bar. Lovely charcuterie. Could improve bread to meat ratio. Cheese is extra. Unclear what cheese would be on cheese plate. Did not inquire.Couldn't serve us anything from regular menu. Just bar bites. Unfortunate.Seats were heated which are nice except now there's no reason to cozy up with one another.Other food was decent. Forgettable. Charcuterie was the highlight.“

“Best F'n cheeseburger I have had in quite sometime. Reasonably priced but like gourmet. You can choose how you'd like them cooked and they do it perfectly. Mine was medium rare and incredibly juicy. Fries were outstanding and you can have a cold beer if you'd like. I heard that the milkshakes are amazing too so maybe next time I will try that.Came on Leap Day after running an errand and it was worth the stop. Would definitely make the trek back to Menlo Park for this gem. Give 'em some love!!Parking: If the parking is full, there are lots incredibly close you can use.“
